    Early this morning, July 16, 2015, Will County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Pauling Road and Kankakee Street, unincorporated Manhattan Township, in reference to suspicious subjects trespassing on Com Ed property at 14040 Watkins Road.  Upon arrival deputies located three subjects as they were attempting to flee the scene in a vehicle.  Deputies stopped the vehicle and observed what could be used as burglary tools inside the vehicle.  The subjects were

  • WILL COUNTY SHERIFFS - FOURTH OF JULY ENFORCEMENT CAMPAIGN RESULTS

    The Will County Sheriff's Office was out in full force during the recent Independence Day Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over/Click It or Ticket crackdown.  Sheriff's deputies issued a total of 145 citations: 

    8 arrests which include:  2-DUI, 1-felony, 5-suspended/revoked driver's license.  Also issued were 29 moving violations and 27 non moving violations along with 45 speeding citations, 9 seat belt citations, and 27 no insurance citations.

    Early Friday morning, June 26, 2015 the Will County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in unincorporated Joliet Township regarding a call of an unknown sex crime.  Deputies arrived on the scene to discover that Terrance A. Harper-Means, (DOB: 6/26/87), had sexually abused a female child under the age of ten who was staying at the residence, along with Harper-Means.  The child has no relation to Harper-Means.

Attorney Security Pass

Attorney Security Passes must be obtained in-person by the Attorney between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., on the first Tuesday of each month, or by appointment by calling the Will County Sheriff's Office Internal Affairs/Merit Commission Office at 815-723-1648.

The cost of the Attorney Security Pass is $35.00 (cash or check only, payable to the Will County Sheriff's Office, if paying by cash, no bills larger than $20 will be accepted - exact change is appreciated). The passes will valid for one year from the month of issue.

The cost to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged card is $5.00
