            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered the business property and stole a catalytic convertor from a Ford F150 work vehicle.

            Summary:  Junior Sanchez Sandoval, age 29, of 710 Bellevue Avenue in Elgin was cited for driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Jonathan Galick, age 31, of 14021 Ridgewood Drive in Homer Glen was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown used a black permanent marker to draw multiple offensive body parts and swastikas on the seats of the bleachers.

            Summary:  Hassan Abdi, age 20, of 310 E. Springfield Avenue in Champaign was cited for no valid driver’s license and speeding.

            Summary:  Hilario Cisneros Reyes, age 41, of 1213 Douglas St. in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Bria Dunlap, age 26, of 3545 W. Oakhill Drive in Crete was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

            Summary:  Between 6/19/22 and 7/5/22, person/s unknown stole a catalytic converter from a 2012 Chevy 4500 RV.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown smashed out a window of a vehicle and stole a purse containing cash, prescription medications, and a checkbook.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown smashed out a window of a vehicle and stole a purse containing cash and credit cards.  While victim was awaiting deputies to arrive to file the report she had already received a notice from Walmart advising her that a credit card purchase had been made.

 

7/8       Location:  9700 block of S. Carls Drive                     Plainfield

            Summary:  Victim advised that over the past year his residence had been targeted by someone hitting golf balls onto his property.  On this date, one of his work vehicles was struck by multiple golf balls, causing dents in the vehicle and cracking a windshield.  Victim advised that whoever has been hitting golf balls is improving their aim capabilities and fears that the balls will begin striking his residence. 

 

7/9       Location:  23621 W. 135^th St.            Plainfield                     Eaton Preserve park

            Summary:  Victim stated that while he and his family were at the park he observed a male black subject climbing into his back window.  The subject then left in a white four-door vehicle.  Victim then went to his vehicle and discovered that the subject had stolen his wife’s purse containing cash and several credit cards.  While deputies were taking the report, the victim received a phone alert stating that a purchase for over $500 was attempted at the Walmart in Naperville.  The purchase was made by a female white who had attempted to use several of the cards at the self-checkout.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a catalytic converter from a Ford F450 RV.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2015 orange Kubota RTV900 from the business property.

            Summary:  James H. Berry, age 50, of 106 North Avenue in Lockport was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a stop sign, operating vehicle with suspended registration, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driver’s license classification violation.

 

7/10     Location:  110 Riley Avenue

            Summary:  George M. Towns, age 43, of this address, was arrested for aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting arrest.

 

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

7/6       Location:  20000 block of S. Frankfort Square Road                        Frankfort

            Summary:  Darren J. Booth, age 40, of 3707 W. Hirsch in Chicago was arrested for criminal trespass to property.

 

7/8       Location:  7626 W. Lincoln Highway                        Old Plank Trail Bank              Frankfort

            Summary:  Deputies responded to an activated alarm around 4am and observed the ATM at the drive-thru to be broken with plastic pieces spread across the parking lot area.  Deputies also observed a black residue on the ATM.  Deputies spoke with a clerk at the nearby Circle K who stated that he was inside working when he heard a loud boom.  He exited the store and observed a subject entering the passenger side of an unknown type vehicle.   Bank employee stated that no money had been removed from the ATM.  Video surveillance was being reviewed at time of report.

7/5       Location:  23725 W. County Farm Road                   Michels Pipeline

            Summary:  Employee stated person/s unknown broke into a semi-trailer and stole a fluke multimeter, a Defelsko posietector and a testex spring meter.  Estimated loss value:  $4,550.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Antonio Tobar, age 36, of 358 N. Broadway in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.

 

7/6       Location:  100 block of Edison Road

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse and Apple air pods.

 

            Location:  S. Briggs and E. Washington

            Summary:  Roy Perkins, age 47, of 415 N. Broadway in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  400 block of N. Hebbard

            Summary:  Victim stated that he went outside about midnight and observed an unknown individual underneath the hood of his vehicle.  The individual ran away.  The victim observed his battery missing.

            Summary: Sherri Barlow, age 56, of 416 Davison in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and expired registration.

            Summary:  Three unknown male blacks were observed on video surveillance removing the window panel from a residence.  The offenders stole a Play Station 4 and a 55” TV.

            Summary:  Markise McKinnis, age 40, of 302 W. Division St. in Joliet was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Gabriel Nieves, age 19, of 17750 W. Quail Ridge Drive in Lockport was cited for speeding.

            Summary:  Persons unknown, driving a red Subaru sedan, stole a 2007 Nissan Murano from the driveway of a residence.

            Summary:  James Moore II, age 29, of 261 Seabury Road in Bolingbrook was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.

            Summary:  Victim stated while reviewing video surveillance he observed an unknown silver Dodge Durango on his property near his two pole barns.   The incident occurred on May 13, 2022.  In the video, he observed a male white, 25-30 years old, get out of his vehicle and steal a weed wacker and a chainsaw from his pole barn.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a catalytic converter from a 2004 Toyota Sequoia while it was sitting in front of a business.

            Summary:  Owner stated that person/s unknown stole a pallet of newly delivered lumber from in front of the business.

            Summary:  An unknown black male with a beard and mustache stole a Taurus .38 firearm from a desk drawer after offender broke the front glass in order to gain entry into the business.

            Summary:  Two unknown males broke into a maintenance shed and stole a semi-truck pressure washer, a roto tiller, and two cases of motor oil.

            Summary:  Wajdi Darmohammed, age 30, of 12640 71^st Court in Palos Heights was cited for aggravated speeding and no valid driver’s license.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered the business property and stole 45 used brake pads and 17 used brake drums.  The offender was described as a male white with a skinny build and dark hair driving an older baby blue Buick Regal.  The offender committed the thefts on two occasions:  6/16/22 and 6/23/22.

            Summary:  Johnnie Parnell Green, age 41, of 117 3^rd Avenue in Joliet was arrested for driving while license revoked, fleeing/attempting to elude police, driving with expired license plates, illegal dumping material on highway and disobeying a stop sign.

            Summary:  Andrew G. Dub, age 20, of 2427 Flower St. in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Karon Nabors, age 18, of this address was arrested for aggravated fleeing/eluding a peace officer and was held on two active Will County warrants.

 

            Location:  500 block of Logan Avenue

            Summary:  Victim stated that around 4am he was sleeping when he heard a noise and saw the light from a flashlight in his kitchen.  The victim yelled, “Get out of my house!” but was unable to see the intruder.  The intruder immediately left the residence through the back door where he had broken into.

            Summary:  Marcos Torres-Rivera, age 49, of 137 SE Circle Drive in Joliet was arrested for DUI, speeding, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

6/22     Location:  143^rd and S. Will Cook Road

            Summary:  Regina Melero, age 52, of 8934 Fernwood Court in Orland Park was cited for suspended registration and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

6/23     Location:  14110 W. 151^st St.                         Heritage Park

            Summary:  Victim stated that while he was attempting to find a parking spot at the Homer Fest an unknown male subject approached him and looked inside his vehicle.  The male subject was wearing a purple ‘carnie’ uniform.  The subject observed a go-pro video camera in the victims’ backseat and stated to the victim that cameras were not allowed inside the fest and that he would need to confiscate it.  The victim gave the camera to the ‘carnie’, parked his vehicle and reported the incident to deputies.

 

            Location:  W. 151^st and S. Gougar Road

            Summary:  Adam E. Nelson, age 30, of Lockport was cited for no valid driver’s license and speeding.

 

            Location:  13150 W. 143^rd St.                                    Purple Onion Restaurant

            Summary:  Property Manager reported to deputies that while performing his weekly inspection he observed that person/s unknown had forced entry into the building and stole the following items:  1 beer cooler, 14 light fixtures, 4 ceiling fans, 10 wall pictures, 1 cash register, 30 tables and 120 chairs, 3 coffee machines, a commercial dish washer, 18 shelving units, a soda machine, 3 fire extinguishers, 2 microwaves, 4 deep fryers, 2 stovetop ovens, a broiler oven and a baking oven. 

 

6/24     Location:  14000 block of S. Mallard Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Glock 19, 9mm handgun.

 

6/26     Location:  W. 159^th St. and S. Messenger Blvd.

            Summary:  Abimael Villamil, age 38, of 2006 W. Algonquin in Mount Prospect was cited for driving while license suspended and improper lighting.

 

6/27     Location:  14320 W. 151^st St.                         Homer Township Library

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a sign from the parking lot that read, “Everyone Welcome”.

            Summary:  Jordan N. Albright, age 20, of this address was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and two counts of aggravated battery.

            Summary:  A grey Mitsubishi with two male blacks and two female whites entered the business lot and stole four speakers from a Dodge Ram pickup truck.  Estimated loss value:  $1,000.

NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT

 

6/15     Location:  1333 S. Schoolhouse Road                       New Lenox      several businesses

            Summary: -

- Person/s unknown broke into the office building of Straightline Performance and stole a Ruger LCP380 and a small safe.  Offender/s also broke into a trailer that was parked in the business lot.  Nothing was taken.

 -  Offender/s broke into Ybarra Truck Repair and damaged a TV, toolbox and an Adir locking key box.  A cell phone and an airsoft gun was also missing.

 - Manager of Great Sports stated that offender/s broke into their warehouse and broke into two vending machines and pried open the doors.  Offenders also caused damage to a third vending machine, and released a fire extinguisher all over the floor.  Offenders also drove a golf cart through a metal cage area, and used an axe to force open an (empty) safe.    Deputies observed a two-foot hole cut into the siding of the back of the building where the offender/s gained entry.   Once all employees were allowed to return to the warehouse it was also discovered that an Apollo 250RX dirt bike had body damage, along with a Batman go-cart, a golf cart, and two motorcycle trikes.   A 2020 Apollo motorcycle and a Massimo ATV were stolen, along with a Samsung tablet, a fishing rod, cash and a trailer that had been parked outside. 

- Deputies spoke with an individual who stated that he had permission to use one of the business parking lots to park his 2000 Roadmaster motor home.  Offender/s smashed in the passenger door window and cut the locking mechanism.  Nothing was missing from inside.

- Offender/s broke into a CBD business with a storeroom and office.  It was unclear at time of report if anything was missing.  Business owner stated he would do a full inventory and report to deputies at a later date.

 

            Location:  9511 W. Monee-Manhattan Road             Frankfort                     Green Garden Country Club

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole two golf carts after they broke the locking mechanism to the cart-holding gate and cut the electricity to the alarm box. 

 

6/17     Location:  2800 block of Morcambe Bay Drive                     New Lenox

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a red recumbent Sun E2-Tri Classic bike from the driveway of a residence.

6/16     Location:  13909 S. Budler Road                   Plainfield                     Creekside Elementary

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke the glass out of an entrance door of the school.  Offender/s also used dry erase markers and spray paint in order to write offensive and gang related graffiti in several areas around the building.  Video surveillance was being reviewed.

 

6/20     Location:  22000 block of W. Lockport St.                Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke out the window of a vehicle and stole a wallet containing USC, gift cards, a debit card and a driver’s license.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered the gated storage area and cut the catalytic converter off a 2006 Ford motor home.

            Summary:  Gelasio Temich-Temich, age 34, of 315 Willow Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Ronald Parker, age 21, of 23 Highland St. in Calumet City was charged with battery after he struck another inmate.

            Summary:  Kevyn Garcia, age 23, of 1519 S. Chicago St. in Joliet was cited for disobeying a traffic control device, no registration lights, attempt to flee/elude police, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Charles D. Kowalski, age 35, of 931 Plainfield Road in Joliet was cited for no front plates, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  He was held on an active Will County warrant.

            Summary:  Janelly Rejon, age 28, of 19755 NE Frontage Drive in Shorewood was cited for failure to stop at stop sign and driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  100 block of Jessie St.

            Summary:  An unknown white male subject, about 215lbs, approached a residence and began speaking to the homeowner about purchasing a Link card from him.  The homeowner stated that he was not interested.  The unknown subject then began asking strange questions about the homeowners three Chihuahua dogs that were in his backyard.  The homeowner told the man to leave his property.  A short time later the homeowner went into his back sunroom and realized that person/s unknown had entered his sunroom and stole his Chihuahua puppy.

            Summary:  Marco Martinez, age 54, of 312 Dell Park Avenue in Lockport was arrested for aggravated DUI, DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Brian L. Andrews, age 60, of 373 Western Avenue in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Mosell Turner, age 62, of 204 Lincoln in Joliet was arrested for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no seat belt, possession of a controlled substance and disobeying a stop sign.

            Summary:  Nicholas Krzysiak, age 19, of 14726 Cinnamon Creek in Homer Glen was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

6/9       Location:  12000 block of W. Morgan Court

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2017 Chevy Tahoe from the driveway of a residence.  The owner contacted deputies to file the report around 2:15am.   The owner then contacted deputies at 5:35pm to advise them that he contacted On Star who was able to locate his vehicle on S. Emerald Street in Chicago.  Chicago Police was contacted and the owner was able to retrieve his vehicle.  Cash was missing from the vehicle.

 

6/13     Location:  14355 S. Bell Road                                   Blueberry Hill Café

            Summary:  Around 2:11am, deputies responded to an activated alarm at the business.  Once arriving, they observed the front door of the business had been shattered by a large rock.  Manager was called to the business and stated that offenders stole a small amount of cash and had damaged a computer monitor and gone through a cabinet.

            Summary:  Sally Likar, age 56, of 217 S. May in Joliet was cited for improper lane usage and driving while license revoked.

            Summary:  Dominique Swansey, age 34, of 766 Mendocino Court in University Park was cited for failure to secure child under eight years old, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  W. Wilmington-Peotone Road and S. Symerton Road                 Wilmington

            Summary:  Christen Quick, age 42, of 1023 W. Longfellow Drive in Manteno was cited for aggravated speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Suzanne Haglund, age 49, of 24531 S. Arrowhead Drive in Manhattan was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a detached garage and placed several tools into a container.  Offender/s moved the container near the entrance door but did not take anything with them.   On 6/11, the homeowner called deputies back to the residence and stated that person/s unknown stole a Yamaha motorbike from the property.

6/8       Location:  12357 S. Rhea Drive                                 Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke out several windows of the International Central Gospel Church.  It appeared that some of the windows were broken out by a pellet gun.  Video surveillance footage is being reviewed.

 

6/9       Location:  10000 block of S. Mandel St.                    Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown cut the catalytic converter off a Honda CRV while it was parked in a business parking lot overnight.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown cut the catalytic converter off a Chevy Silverado while it was parked in a residential driveway.
