5/13 Location: 17000 block of S. Farrell Road
Summary: Karim Ashiq Ali, age 39, of Plainfield was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
5/11 Location: 19900 S. Harlem Avenue Lincoln Way North
Summary: Person/s unknown broke the drivers window out of a vehicle, entered it and stole a wallet. The vehicle owner had parked in the far north parking lot to go for a walk when the incident occurred.
5/13 Location: S. Harlem and W. St. Francis Road Frankfort
Summary: Ahkem Daniels, age 34, of Flossmoor was cited for driving while license suspended, driving with suspended registration, and expired registration.
5/15 Location: S. Harlem and W. Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Michael Woods, age 45, of University Park was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: An employee of Forest Park Community Center stated that the Center owns a 2012 GMC van and person/s unknown cut the catalytic converter from it.

Summary: Jerry L. Bryant, age 41, of Joliet was cited for resisting/obstructing a peace officer and was held on an active Will County warrant.

Summary: Genaro Santiago, age 28, of Joliet was cited for no valid license, improper passing and improper lane usage.

Summary: Francisco Fierro-Orozco, age 43, of Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, operating vehicle with no insurance, and suspended registration.

Summary: Robert Chamberlin, age 75, of this address was arrested for aggravated DUI, DUI, fleeing/eluding police, disobeying a stop sign, and driving while license revoked.

5/10 Location: W. Bruce and S. Meader
Summary: Raul M. Lozano-Garcia, age 19, of Plainfield was cited for aggravated speeding.
5/14 Location: 14000 block of W. Bruce Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a Ruege 2003 blue and white Yamaha ATV from the front yard of a residence. The offender/s cut the lock off to steal it. The ATV was for sale at time of theft.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
5/9 Location: 31w331 Schoger Drive Wheatland Local Lawn Care
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a locked trailer and stole two line trimmers, a backpack blower, and two hedge trimmers.
5/11 Location: Whittington Lane Wheatland
Summary: Victim stated that she made a $500 payment (owed $600 in total) for Taylor Swift concert tickets via Facebook marketplace. She sent the money through Zelle to an email account. She asked the seller to send her a screenshot of the tickets before she sent the additional $100. The seller did not send the victim the screenshot. The victim then asked the seller if she sent the additional $100, would the seller send the tickets. The seller then advised the victim to go ahead and send the money. The victim then felt something was odd about the deal and asked for a refund of the $500 she had already sent. The seller then blocked the victim from all communications.
5/13 Location: 10119 S. Clow Creek Road Plainfield Several businesses
Summary: Several businesses reported having their mailboxes in the industrial complex broken into or gone through and mail removed from them. Deputies observed mail spread across the area and some mail was returned to the businesses. Other mail was later found in the front of a business on W. Industrial Drive. The owner stated their mailboxes had also been gone through. Deputies took possession of all the mail and contact the U.S. Postal Service. While on the scene deputies received information regarding an industrial complex in Romeoville Police jurisdiction that a security guard had found pieces of mail from Aero Drive in Plainfield, Schoger Drive in Naperville and Clow Creek in Plainfield. This mail was also dropped off at the U.S. Postal Service.
5/15 Location: 13000 block of S. Budler Road Plainfield
Summary: A 17-year-old male reported to deputies that he had made arrangements on Snapchat to purchase two IPads from an unknown man. They agreed to meet to make the sale on Lakewood Falls Drive and W. Junction Drive. The 17-year-old observed the subject and they met and began to walk together to the subject’s house to collect the IPads. The victim showed the $600 cash that he had to make the purchase. The subject then grabbed the money from the 17-year-old and took off running into the neighborhood. No one was injured.
