9/6 Location: W. Taylor and Belmont DuPage
Summary: Juan Castro Martinez, age 20, of 2409 Spring St. in Woodridge was cited for driving while license revoked and failure to signal.
9/9 Location: S. Lily Cache Rd. and W. Link Lane Plainfield
Summary: Laura S. Tinney, age 45, of 16526 S. Howard St. in Plainfield was arrested for DUI, failure to give aid/information, failure to report accident and leaving the scene of an accident.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
9/3 Location: S. LaGrange and W. St. Francis Frankfort
Summary: Jeffrey S. Bobic, age 40, of 2908 Lexington Drive in Hazel Crest was arrested for stopping on roadway, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper turn at intersection, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.
9/4 Location: Old Hickory Road and N. Vine St. New Lenox
Summary: Damion Nabors, age 28, of 1501 Pioneer Road in Crest Hill was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding. He was held on an active IL State Police warrant.
9/5 Location: W. Lincoln Highway – Frankfort
Summary: At 4:50pm, an unknown male called the homeowner and identified himself as Lt. Charles Whitman from the Will County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit. The male stated that the homeowner had a warrant for her arrest but she could send bond money to avoid being arrested. The fraudulent lieutenant advised the homeowner to go to the store and purchase $700 of pre-paid gift cards. The male then periodically called the homeowner to check the status of her purchase. The homeowner then came to the Will County Sheriff’s Office to speak to a deputy about the phone call and the warrant possibly being a scam. She advised that the phone number being used by the false impersonator was 815-727-8575, which is the actual non-emergency number for Laraway Road Communications Center/Dispatch. Sheriff’s deputies advised her that is was, in fact, a fraudulent caller and a scam.
Location: W. Woodlawn Road New Lenox
Summary: At 5:11 pm, an unknown male called the homeowner and identified himself as Lt. Charles Whitman from the Will County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit. The male stated that the homeowner had a failure to appear warrant out of Will County, and in order to avoid being arrested, she could purchase $700 in pre-paid gift cards and give him the numbers from the cards to him over the phone. The homeowner went to Jewel in New Lenox and while proceeding to purchase the cards was told by the customer service clerk to visit the Sheriff’s Office and speak to a deputy because it may be a scam. The homeowner arrived at the Sheriff’s Office and was advised that it was a fraudulent caller and a scam. The homeowner stated that the caller ID showed the actual non-emergency number for Laraway Road Communications Center/Dispatch,.

9/8 Location: 7500 block of W. Benton Drive Frankfort
Summary: Andrew J. Mason, age 33, of 13112 Regan Road in Mokena was arrested for domestic battery, interfering with reporting of domestic battery, and home invasion.

9/3 Location: S. Chicago and W. Schweitzer Road
Summary: Joseph M. Hester, age 36, of 6514 S. King Drive in Chicago was cited for defective windshield, driving while license suspended and was held on an active warrant out of Chicago.
9/4 Location: 2000 block of S. Briggs
Summary: Therese Marino, age 46, of 1704 New Lenox Road in Joliet was cited for possession of drug equipment.
9/5 Location: S. Briggs and E. Washington
Summary: Dominique J. Woodard, age 28, of 308 N. Briggs in Joliet was cited for obstructing identification and was held on an active Will County warrant.
9/6 Location: Taylor and Walsh
Summary: Eneida Lopez Berrum, age 44, of 519 Walsh Avenue in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license and no registration lights.

Summary: Sariyah Stampley, age 21, of 337 Wallace Way in Romeoville was cited for failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

Summary: Courtney W. James, age 34, of 5252 Arquilla Avenue in Richton Park was cited for improper lane usage, failure to signal, driving while license revoked, obstructing justice and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Isidro Magallon-Martinez, age 44, of 1112 Woodruff in Joliet was arrested for DUI, speeding, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Summary: Michael A. Nevils, age 36, of 358 W. Bethel Drive in Bourbonnais was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: E. Washington and Cherry Hill Road
Summary: Noah Nicholas, age 45, of 241 Cherry Hill Road in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no registration plate, expired registration and improper display of registration.

Summary: Johnnie R. Jones, Jr., age 25, of 1412 Brandon Road in Joliet was arrested for failure to signal, possession of cannabis under 10 grams, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse containing credit cards.

Summary: Olegario Garcia, age 56, of 518 Blackhawk in Joliet was cited for expired registration sticker, improper display of registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, display/possess suspended driver’s license and driving while license suspended.
Location: 1500 block of W. Jefferson
Summary: Eric J. Tims, age 28, of 14 Kingery Quarters in Willowbrook was cited for driving while license suspended, improper lighting and illegal transportation of alcohol.
HOMER GLEN
9/4 Location: S. Bridle Court
Summary: A 62-year-old male victim stated to deputies that he received a call at 2pm from a man who introduced himself as Alex Cooper, an officer from the Social Security Office. Cooper asked the victim to give him the last four numbers of his social security number so that he could verify if he was the person Cooper was looking for. The victim gave the numbers. Cooper then advised the victim that there was a vehicle rented out in Texas, with his information that was found covered in blood. The victim stated that he never rented a vehicle. The victim then provided Cooper with his full social security number and was told by Cooper that he could have his social security number reinstated if he paid the fines owed on the rental. The victim went to CVS, purchased $400 in EBay gift cards, to Walmart and purchased $500 in Walmart gift cards, and provided the fraudulent SS Officer, Alex Cooper, with the numbers. By time of police report at 7:15pm, the cards had a zero balance.

Summary: Juana Martinez-Trejo, age 36, of 2325 Hanley Road in Gary, IN was cited for no registration lights, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
9/6 Location: S. Gougar and W. 151st St.
Summary: Karima Thomas, age 29, of 311 N. Ottawa St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.
9/9 Location: 12000 block of W. 143rd St.
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a garage and stole a Snap-On Modus Diagnostic System.

9/4 Location: 26000 block of S. Greenwood Avenue Crete
Summary: An unknown male white subject in a white van was observed entering a residence. The unknown subject took off after an alarm was activated.
Location: 679 Madison Lane University Park
Summary: Ontarion Safo, age 25, of this address, was arrested for obstructing justice, resisting a peace officer and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. He was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Fugitive Warrants Unit and the IDOC Fugitive Team on three active warrants out of Will County, Homewood Police, and IDOC.
9/6 Location: S. Governors Highway and W. Monee-Manhattan Road Monee
Summary: Mary F. Kirkland, age 21, of 6824 Laurel Avenue in Portage, IN was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: E. Exchange and S. State Line Road Crete
Summary: Anthony R. Mendoza, age 20, of 1632 W. 100th Place in Chicago was cited for speeding and unlawful consumption of alcohol/zero tolerance.
9/7 Location: E. Exchange and S. Klemme Road Crete
Summary: Randy N. Barron, age 57, of 15748 W. 103rd Lane in Dyer, IN was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and unattended motor vehicle while engine running.
9/9 Location: 25000 block of s. Sangamon St. Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown threw a cement object at a motorhome causing damage to the windshield and front hood.
LOCKPORT
9/3 Location: 400 block of North Avenue
Summary: A 45-year-old male was struck by gunfire around 8:40pm. The victim was shot in the chest and was conscious upon deputy’s arrival at the home. The victim had been sitting on the couch in the living room when the home was shot with several bullets. The victim was transported to Silver Cross Hospital by Lockport Fire personnel. He was listed in stable condition. A witness stated seeing a silver four-door sedan, possibly a Dodge Stratus, with tinted windows, in the area when gunshots were heard.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
9/4 Location: S. Rowell and W. Manhattan Jackson
Summary: Homeowner stated that he left his 2012 white Ford pickup in the field where he cuts and bails hay. Person/s unknown stole the truck from the field. About 10 hours later the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office contacted the truck owner and advised that they found the truck in a river in Kankakee County.
9/9 Location: 35000 block of S. Rivals Road Wilmington
Summary: Charles L. Neese III, age 23, of 2406 Ashland Circle in Morris was arrested for DUI/drugs, improper display of registration plate, defective windshield, driving while license suspended and endangering the life of a child.
