4/2       Location:  30000 block of S. Klemme Road                          Beecher

            Summary:  Three 16 year-old male subjects were charged with reckless discharge of a firearm after a homeowner/victim reported that he was inside his barn with two friends and his three children  began hearing bullets striking his barn.  Bullet holes were observed in the sides and ceiling of the barn.  No one was injured.  While investigating the incident the three juveniles were questioned and it was determined that they had been at a friend’s house and were outside randomly shooting a 45 caliber Springfield XD that belonged to their friends father.   No intentional harm to the neighbors was intended.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles and stole a Coach purse from one vehicle and two pairs of Ray Ban’s and some change from the second vehicle.

3/30     Location:  27665 S. Frontage Road E                        Powell Equipment

            Summary:  Person/s unknown cut a chain link fence in order to gain access to the business property.  Offender/s attempted to steal the tires off a trailer.  Offender/s also broke the tire valve and stole four tires, four batteries off a Mack truck.  Six aluminum tire rims were also stolen.

            Summary:  David D. Robinson, age 26, of 824 Hobbs Avenue in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Thurmond Leon Lurry, III, age 44, of 2 Luana Road in Joliet was arrested for aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting a peace officer, criminal trespass to residence and disorderly conduct.

            Summary:  Deaija Washington, age 20, of 1315 Rowell Avenue in Joliet was cited for no registration lights, driving while license revoked and one headlight.

            Summary:  Jared J. Lawson, age 18, of 407 Stockton Drive in Joliet was arrested for aggravated fleeing/eluding the police, fleeing/eluding the police, street racing, and aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  John F. Fisher, Jr., age 25, of 719 Bon Terre Road in New Lenox was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

4/5       Location:  19730 S. Harlem Avenue                          Speedway                   Frankfort

            Summary:  Employee stated that after ringing up a customer he did not hear the change machine dispense any change.  When he looked towards the change machine, he realized that person/s unknown had stolen it.    Video surveillance showed at 4:30am, a male black entered the store and grabbed the machine off the counter and exited the store.  The man drove away in a silver/white SUV.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2006 Pontiac GTO from the parking lot of a business.  The vehicle was inoperable and was missing two tires at the time of the theft.

            Summary:  While monitoring the business parking lot, an employee discovered a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas parked there.  While checking the suspicious vehicle out it was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from Chicago.

3/17     Location:  12000 block of W. Warren Drive                          Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a vehicle and stole a driver’s license, state ID, FOID card, credit cards and a Glock 17 9mm handgun. 

 

3/21     Location:  100 block of W. Wood St.                                     New Lenox

            Summary:  Michael D. Kezerle, age 38, of 207 Hauser Court in New Lenox was charged with criminal damage to property.

 

            Location:  7400 block of W. Woodlawn Drive                      Frankfort

            Summary:  Victim stated around 5:30am, he heard his garage door opening and upon opening the inside door to the garage he observed two unknown white males inside his 2015 Chrysler SRX4.  One of the subjects held a handgun and told the victim to hang up his phone.  The victim stated he went back inside his home and a short time later the garage door closed.  He called the police and then observed his vehicle still inside his garage and the two subjects had fled.

            Location:  27421 S. Frontage Road E.                                   TSC Freight

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered ten business trailers.  Video surveillance captured the offenders traveling in a red minivan.   At time of this report a full inventory of what was stolen was not completed.

            Summary:  David W. Carey, Sr., age 55, of 1003 New Lenox Road in Joliet was cited for improper display of registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.

            Summary:  Craig D. Sneed, age 47, of 103 Grandview Place in Lockport was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Zachery Thomas, age 30, of 5816 W. Division St. in Chicago was charged with criminal damage to government property.

3/13     Location:  Fairmont Avenue and State St.

            Summary:  Roosevelt Hughes, age 29, of 135 Fairmont Avenue in Lockport was cited for failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.

 

JOLIET

 

3/9       Location:  Maple and Draper

            Summary:  Uarl L. Hunter, age 29, of 362 N. Broadway in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and failure to signal.

 

            Location:  N. Larkin and Theodore

            Summary:  Damayanty Calderon, age 42, of 326 Chesapeake Lane in Bloomingdale was cited for driving while license suspended and suspended registration.

 

3/11     Location:  1800 block of Houston

            Summary:  Around 11pm, deputies were called to a residence regarding a stolen motor vehicle.  Victim advised that when he returned home and pulled his Buick Enclave into the driveway he observed two subjects walking towards his driveway.  The male victim said that as he put the vehicle into park the driver’s side door was opened and a male black subject with a knife stated, “Give me the keys.”  The victim then saw a second male black grab a metal pole from the side of the house and stand next to the other offender.  The offender with the knife then pulled the victim out of the vehicle and both offenders drove away in the Enclave.  The victim was not harmed. 

  Around 2:25am, deputies were dispatched back to the residence.  They again spoke with the victim who stated that his son had done a search of the area and located the vehicle near Keuka St. and Marcella Avenue.  They used a spare set of keys and returned the vehicle back to the residence. 

 

            Location:  I55 and S. Frontage Road W

            Summary:  Apryl Rogan, age 28, of 6603 N. Tamarack Lane in Peoria was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

3/12     Location:  1900 block of Chicago St.

            Summary:  Around 11pm, deputies were dispatched to the area of Pico and McKinley regarding shots fired.  Joliet Police were in the area and confirmed that they heard shots fired in the area.  A vehicle was then located at Ranch Liquors that had sustained damage consistent with gunfire.  The female driver of the vehicle stated that while she was leaving her residence, unknown offenders opened fire on her vehicle.  The victim stated that she ducked in the driver’s seat and pulled into the liquor store.  Victim suffered from minor scratches to her face from glass being shattered.   A dark colored Impala was identified as a suspect vehicle.

 

            Location:  1800 block of Dallas Place

            Summary:  Around 7:20pm, deputies arrived to a residence and met with a female victim.  She stated that while she was making trips into the residence to carry belongings inside, she placed her vehicle keys on the dashboard.  While the victim was inside the residence, she walked outside and her 2008 Hyundai minivan had been stolen.

            Summary:  Jeremy Gapsevich, age 28, of 506 Jersey Avenue in Joliet was cited for improper display of registration, failure to report stolen license, and driving while license revoked.  He was held on an FTA warrant.

 

            Location:  S. Weber and Kubinski Drive

            Summary:  Michael A. Gonzalez, age 37, of 20430 Essex Court in Crest Hill was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  S. Briggs and 3^rd Avenue

            Summary:  Robert M. Krapil, age 33, of 1020 E. 7^th St. in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no seat belts.

 

3/13     Location:  Caton Farm Road and Essington

            Summary:  Antonio DeAlba, age 21, of 1691 W. Richfield Trail in Romeoville was cited for speeding and no valid driver’s license.

 

            Location:  23551 W. Bluff Road                                Complete Intermodal Repair Storage

            Summary:  Four subjects were seen on video surveillance entered the storage yard and breaking security lugs off several cargo containers with bolt cutters.   The offenders were seen driving a white van with an extended top.  An inventory of what was stolen was not available at time of initial report.

            Summary:  Pamela Lopez, age 24, of 1221 Wilcox in Joliet was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  S. Center and S. Hickory

            Summary:  Tasha Bond, age 47, of 1105 Highland Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal and no registration lights.

            Summary:  Duane James Jr., age 25, of 828 S. 11^th Avenue in Maywood was cited for speeding, failure to signal, and no valid driver’s license.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2006 Ford F350 off the sales lot. 

 

            Location:  19000 block of S. Hillgate Road                           Frankfort

            Summary:  Homeowner received a suspicious phone call from an individual identifying themselves as a police officer from Mokena Police Department.  The individual stated that his name was Jim Allen and began asking questions regarding a business that the homeowner worked at.  Questions were directly about the security at the business.  Once the call was over the homeowner called Mokena Police as discovered that no one from the department was named Jim Allen, nor did the Mokena Police call and ask questions about the type of security the business has.

            Summary:  Erin c. Ropac, age 43, of 18155 Highland Avenue in Homewood was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and driving while license revoked.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole loose change, a garage door opener and a Bluetooth speaker.

            Summary:  Demetrius Pinnick, age 29, of 418 N. North Avenue in Lockport was cited for operating vehicle with no registration and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole four rims off a 1986 Cutlass that was parked in the lot getting engine repairs.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles.  Wallets were stolen from both.

 

            Location:  12000 block of W. Pheasant Court

            Summary:  Victim stated he was awaken at 4am by his garage door opening.  When he looked outside, he observed a male white subject with a slender build run from his driveway and enter a black SUV that was waiting for him.  Suspect had entered his unlocked vehicle and used his garage door opener to open the door.

            Summary:  Fabian Almodovar, age 29, of 1482 Windflower Court in Romeoville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while license suspended.  Joshua Ziebarth, age 25, of 332 Amaryllis Court in Romeoville was charged with possession of open alcohol in a vehicle.  Kelechukwu Akuba, age 28, of 303 East Daisy Circle in Romeoville was charged with possession of open alcohol in a vehicle and Kevontlay Williams, age 27, of 1686 Rose Circle in Romeoville was charged with possession of open alcohol in a vehicle.

            Summary:  Victim stated that between 2/28 and 3/3, four of her horses went missing.  They are identified as a Palomino, a Blue Roam, a Bay and a race horse.  Deputies spoke with Laraway Communications Dispatch who verified that there had been no recent animal complaints in the area.  Deputies also spoke with Will County Animal Control who advised they have had no recent reports of loose horses in the county.  Victim was unsure if the animals were stolen or had gotten loose from the pen at time of report.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse.  The incident occurred at the Godley Dog Park.

            Summary:  Mohammad Salah, age 28, of 11058 W. 168^th St. in Orland Park was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Homeowner stated that around 10:30pm she received a Ring Door Bell alert at her residence.  She stated that she observed a white male, early 50’s, wearing sunglasses, about 5’9” tall, and about 170 lbs. at her front door.  She also observed the man to have a medical mask on and wearing surgical gloves.  The man pulled out a crowbar and opened her screen door while looking in the window.  The homeowner’s dogs began barking and the male left the property driving a silver van/SUV.

            Summary:  Norma P. Romero, age 51, of 8925 W. 167^th Place in Orland Hills was cited for aggravated speeding.

Jackson Blvd in Joliet was charged with criminal trespass to government property and obstructing a peace officer after he was asked to leave the property multiple times by employees and deputies.  Beene had been standing in the front lobby, talking on his cell phone, and refused to leave.

            Summary:  Izamar Gonzalez, age 25, of 559 Irving in Joliet was cited for improper display of registration and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Kylnita Redmond, age 41, of 818 Robin Lane in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was held on an active warrant.  Jason J. Jackson, age 41, of 200 Reichman in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  Old Renwick Road and Trading Post Lane

            Summary:  Edson Castillo, age 33, of 707 Windsor Lane in Romeoville was arrested for two counts of obstructing/resisting a peace officer and Chad Slaughterbeck, age 25, of 505 Everette Avenue in Romeoville was charged with aggravated fleeing/eluding a peace officer.   Both individuals were taken into custody by Plainfield Police regarding an incident that had occurred prior to them being apprehended by Sheriff’s deputies.
