NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
8/2 Location: 21000 block of Owens Road New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown used red, green, and blue spray paint to write offensive and racial slurs all over a vehicle. The head lights, front grill, and sides of the vehicle also had been scratched with an unknown object.
8/3 Location: 8000 block of W. Magnolia Drive Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a residence and broke multiple windows, smashed eggs all over the kitchen, living room, and hallway, broke two bathroom doors and seven sets of window blinds. The owners were in the process of moving out and had removed most items prior to the incident.
Location: 19900 S. Harlem Avenue Frankfort Lincolnway North High School
Summary: Victim stated that after working out on the running track she returned to her vehicle to find that person/s unknown had broke out a window to enter the vehicle. A purse containing a small amount of cash and various credit cards. While deputies were investigating the incident, they located to the Speedway gas station to view video surveillance. It was determined that the offender had attempted to use one of the victim’s credit cards. The offender was described as a male black, in his mid-30’s, bald, with a beer belly, black tank top, black shorts, and black and white slides.
Deputies were later notified that the offender used the victims credit cards in Richton Park as three retail stores.
8/4 Location: 12000 block of W. Covey Court New Lenox
Summary: An unknown male white, in his 20’s, with shoulder length hair, was observed on surveillance video checking doors on vehicles to see if they were unlocked. One vehicle that was accidentally left unlocked by the owner was entered by the subject and a Glock 43X 9mm handgun was stolen.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
8/7 Location: 25605 W. 111th Street Central Sod Farm Plainfield
Summary: An unknown subject pulled into the parking lot in a pickup truck, broke into the business, and stole USC. The manager stated that two other sod farm locations, in Frankfort and Hanover Park, were also burglarized on the same night.
Location: S. Budler and W. Lakeland Trail Plainfield
Summary: Deshaun Bolden, age 20, of 17006 University Avenue in South Holland was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated fleeing/eluding police.
Location: 13000 block of S. Petersburg Drive Plainfield
Summary: Five unknown male subjects were observed on video surveillance checking for unlocked doors on vehicles.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
8/7 Location: 23962 W. Stripmine Road Snookers Bar Wilmington
Summary: Gregory L. Bailey, age 46, of Wilmington was arrested for battery.
Location: 14000 block of W. Joliet Road Manhattan
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2001 Chevy W4500 work vehicle from a residence. The vehicle had a decal reading: A.L.M. Lawncare on the side door.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
8/4 Location: 25608 S. Dixie Highway U Store It Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a storage unit and stole a Visio TV, bench grinder, welder, two compound bows, a refrigeration kit, a refrigeration recovery machine, three large bags of miscellaneous tools, two gas sniffers, two refrigerator gauge sets, and two 25-gallon jugs of refrigerant.
Location: 8800 W. Offner Road Peotone
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a trailer with a 2007 Honda Aqua trax wave runner and a 2013 Sea Doo wave runner that were secured to the trailer.
8/5 Location: E. Exchange and S. Stoney Island Crete
Summary: DM Zunayed Nibir, age 28, of Bloomington, IN was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Location: 26000 block of S. Klemme Road Crete
Summary: Anthony Pazda, age 63, of 4600 W. 88th St. in Hometown, IL was arrested for criminal trespass to property, possession of drug equipment, possession of a controlled substance, and possess of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver.
8/7 Location: 28000 block of S. 80th Avenue Peotone
Summary: Homeowners stated that they observed a Chevy Silverado in their driveway at 3:50am and two male Hispanics in their yard. The male homeowner went outside to confront the subjects and heard a shotgun go off. The homeowner then shot his 9mm handgun into a nearby ditch to scare off the subjects. The homeowner then observed the two subjects enter the Silverado and drive off.
The homeowners then discovered a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan on their property behind a barn. The vehicle did not belong to the homeowners, and they had no idea how it got on their property. The vehicle had the hood open, windows down, gas cap open, and had gasoline poured throughout the inside. A gas can was located about 30 yards from the vehicle. It was determined that one of the subjects had driven it there and were planning on lighting it on fire until they were scared off by the homeowner. Deputies confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from Skokie. Under investigation.
Location: 7300 block of W. Pauling Rd. Monee
Summary: Two unknown subjects stole a 2009 Chevy 2500 HD pickup truck and entered two other unlocked vehicles and stole a water bottle and a credit card. The vehicle was later located on Manhattan-Wilton Road and returned to its owner.
LOCKPORT
8/2 Location: 100 block of Amherst Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a small amount of cannabis and broke off the ignition lock cylinder.
8/4 Location: McGregor and Thornton
Summary: Clifford Longeway, age 38, of Plainfield was arrested for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
8/5 Location: 1007 Northern Drive
Summary: David Cameron, age 60, of this address was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm.
Location: 2111 Arthur Avenue
Summary: Frank Barefield, age 53, of this address, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery.
Location: Green Garden and Cameron
Summary: Michael Stacken, age 31, of Lockport was arrested for failure to give aid at accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and disobeying a traffic control device.

8/1 Location: Ewing and Charlesworth
Summary: Flora Morgan, age 46, of Crest Hill was arrested for possession of drug equipment and resisting a police officer.
8/3 Location: W. Jefferson and Republic
Summary: Azariah Alford, age 44, of Gary, IN was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration, and failure to notify of new address.
Location: 1100 block of Sterling Avenue
Summary: Victim stated that she answered a Facebook Marketplace ad for a house rental on Cameron Street in Lockport. After communicating with a subject and paying $65 application fee, $550 for a security deposit zelled to one subjects email address, and $400 to a second subjects email address, she began to realize she was being scammed. Victim stated that the day she went to move into the house the ‘landlord’ never showed up to allow the victim into the house. After several attempts of reaching out to the landlord, she eventually reached him and was told that she could not prove he ever received any money from her, and he would not be returning her money.

Summary: Demetrius McDowell, age 39, of Matteson was cited for suspended registration, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: N. Larkin and Oneida
Summary: Omar Wright, age 63, of Joliet was cited for suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: 23060 W. Jefferson St. Woodlawn Cemetery
Summary: Assistant Superintendent stated that person/s unknown entered two abandoned houses on the property and caused damage by punching holes in the walls, shattering a window, and throwing shelving onto the floor.
8/5 Location: 1300 block of N. Larkin
Summary: Shaquille Holmes, age 27, of 406 E. Washington St. in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, armed violence, aggravated possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Keatha Davis, age 31, of 1810 E. 72nd St. in Chicago was charged with bringing/possession contraband in a penal institution.
8/6 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Ayme Hylka, age 37, of 100 Clement St. in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.

8/2 Location: S. Bell Road and W. 151st St.
Summary: Michelle Stanton, age 50, of 1145 Partridge Avenue in Bolingbrook was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lighting, and improper lane usage.
8/4 Location: W. 159th St. and S. Gougar Road
Summary: Mary Linares Rivero, age 43, of Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and speeding.

Summary: Jackson Pederson, age 19, of Elmwood Park was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: 13000 block of W. Wildwood Lane
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole credit cards, wallet, and a .380 ACP handgun.
8/5 Location: 16000 block of S. Ridgewood Drive
Summary: Two unknown male black subjects entered a vehicle and stole a backpack containing 16 frisbee golf disks and a wallet containing driver’s license and a credit card.
Location: 13000 block of W. Valley View Drive
Summary: Person/s unknown used the garage door opener of an unsecured vehicle to open a resident’s garage door. Offender/s stole the 2022 Lincoln Aviator that was parked inside. Deputies were later advised that the stolen vehicle had been observed being driven in Chicago.
