5/16 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Anthony Limon, age 24, of 515 Strong Avenue in Joliet was charged with battery after he threw urine at another inmate.

Summary: Kenneth Harvey II, age 30, of 418 O’Neill St. in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer after he threw a shoe at a correctional officer striking him in the head.
Location: McDonough and Bellarmine
Summary: Gregory N. Brown, age 31, of 524 Bellarmine Drive in Joliet was arrested for felon possession of a weapon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting a peace officer after the Will County Sheriff’s Warrant Unit were apprehending Brown for an active felony warrant out of Sangamon County. Upon taking him into custody a handgun was found on Brown’s person, and he attempted to flee the scene.

Summary: Emma Wilson, age 23, of Joliet was charged with possession of cannabis, no registration light and driving while license suspended.
5/18 Location: 100 W. Jefferson St. Will County Courthouse
Summary: Kenneth Harvey II, age 30, of 418 O’Neill St. in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer after he attacked and struck an officer in the head while in the court holding area.

Summary: Derrell D. Draper, age 40, of 807 Hollow Glen in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer and criminal damage to government property after he threw multiple food trays and a vacuum cleaner at an officer.

Summary: Terrence T. Williams, age 27, of 1107 Magnolia Avenue in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a person over the age of 60 and criminal damage to government property after he forced open two chuck holes and threw feces and urine at two other detainees.
Location: 800 block of Greenfield Avenue
Summary: Charles Duncan Jr., age 35, of 801 Greenfield in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, armed violence, felon in possession of a firearm, armed habitual offender, and possession of a controlled substance and resisting a peace officer.
5/19 Location: S. Briggs and 2nd Avenue
Summary: Troy Gerrity, age 32, of Elwood was cited for aggravated speeding.
5/20 Location: E. Jefferson and Mary St.
Summary: Lachresha Lightfoot, age 34, of Sun Prairie, WI was cited for expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving while license suspended.
Location: E. Jefferson and Mary St.
Summary: Keith Thompson, age 60, of Plano was cited for driving while license revoked.
Location: 600 block of Rowell Avenue
Summary: A 50-year-old female stated that while riding her bicycle, northbound on Rowell Avenue, she observed a dark colored vehicle pull behind her. She observed a male black subject exit the passenger side, approach her, and demand her to give him her backpack. The female then observed a handgun in the subject’s hand and pointed the firearm at her. The female jumped off her bike and fled the area while screaming for help. The subject entered the vehicle and fled the scene. A man witnessed the incident, stopped to help the female, and stated to deputies that the vehicle was a Kia SUV with two male black subjects inside.

Summary: Ghaliya Grant-Berry, age 22, of Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and expired registration.
5/22 Location: 1510 Marigold Drive
Summary: Marquan Brown, age 19, of this address, was arrested for battery, domestic battery, assault, and criminal damage to property.
HOMER GLEN
5/16 Location: 14326 S. Golden Oak Drive Sky Smoke Shop
Summary: An unknown male white, wearing all black, with a face covering, was observed on video surveillance picking up a large rock, throwing it thru the front door window, entering the store, and taking a glass smoking device and other items from the store.
Location: 15000 block of S. Nutmeg Avenue
Summary: A 38-year-old male subject stated to deputies that while he was driving northbound on Cedar Road toward 151st Street, he observed a dark colored Chevy Silverado following him very closely at a high rate of speed. The Chevy continued to tailgate the man and then passed him in a no passing zone. The man flipped his bright lights at the Chevy. The Chevy then stopped and blocked the roadway. The Chevy driver, described as a male white, in his late 40’s or early 50’s, short in stature and balding, jumped out of his truck and displayed a handgun. As the driver approached the man’s vehicle, he put his vehicle in reverse and retreated from the situation. Shortly after the 38-year-old observed the Chevy following him again. The victim pulled into a nearby driveway and ran to the backyard of an unknown residence. The Chevy driver approached the victim’s vehicle, took out the keys and threw the keys into the homeowner’s yard. He then left the area. The victim was not injured.

Summary: Michele Lazzara, age 54, of Morton Grove was cited for aggravated speeding.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
5/18 Location: 15000 block of S. Weber Rd. DuPage
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2005 Easton Car Semi Trailer from a parking lot.
5/21 Location: Sunset Place and San Mateo Drive DuPage
Summary: Bilal Asif Dosa, age 32, of Crystal Lake was cited for driving with no valid license.
5/22 Location: 25244 W. 111th Street Wheatland Bryant Midwest Corp.
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a business trailer and stole a hammer drill hat, two electric band saws, a generator, and a drill/impact kit.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
5/16 Location: W. Auburn Lane and W. Chestnut Court Frankfort
Summary: Amber Shaw, age 35, of Frankfort was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while registration suspended.
Location: S. Harlem and Vollmer Road Frankfort
Summary: Devon Jones, age 29, of Alsip was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration.
5/17 Location: S. Harlem and I80 Frankfort
Summary: Casey W. Green, age 29, of West Chicago was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: Locust Lane New Lenox
Summary: Victim stated that he was looking to obtain a financial loan and began speaking with a company called Advanced America. The representative from the business advised the victim that he would be able to help the victim with a loan but would first need to build up his credit score. The rep advised that the victim would need to send the company money and then the company would use the money to pay his bills. The victim provided his identifying information and bank information. A ‘supervisor’ then began communicating with the victim who advised him to send the company money in the form of Walmart gift cards. The victim complied. The supervisor then advised the victim to send money through a barcode system and bitcoin. The victim began feeling like he might be getting scammed and did not continue to make payments and the supervisor quit responding to the victim. The victim later discovered that he had been scammed out of about $30,000.

5/17 Location: S. Rt. 53 and W. Manhattan Road Jackson
Summary: Danny R. Master, age 56, of 133 Nick Drive in Elwood was arrested for DUI, speeding, and improper lane usage.
5/21 Location: 3010 E. Division St. Reed Gas N Wash
Summary: An unknown white male was observed on video surveillance walking up to the video ticket cash redemption terminal, breaking into it, and taking the cash box from it. The offender had several tattoos on his face and neck area and was with two females in the gaming area. The three left the store in a white Cadillac SUV.
5/22 Location: 17000 block of W. Schweitzer Road Jackson
Summary: Michael Burke, age 30, of Wilmington was arrested for DUI and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
5/17 Location: 30000 block of S. Rt. 45 Peotone
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2011 EZ-GO golf cart that was parked next to a barn on private property.
5/19 Location: 1928 W. Exchange St. Crete
Summary: A technician from T-Mobile reported that while he was checking the antenna tower, he discovered that sixteen batteries had been stolen from a cabinet.
Location: S. Stoney Island and E. County Line Rd. Beecher
Summary: Larry E. Taylor, age 55, of 521 Weller Avenue in Laporte, IN was arrested for aggravated battery to a school employee, aggravated battery on a public way, aggravated battery to a person older than 60, aggravated vehicular hijacking, criminal trespassing, felony reckless conduct, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug equipment.
Deputies were called at 8:17am to a disturbance of a man who had jumped onto the hood of a Beecher Community School district bus and made his way to the top emergency exit and entered the bus. The 63-year-old female bus driver stated that while she was traveling south on Stoney Island, she observed a man (Larry Taylor) standing in the roadway. When the driver attempted to go around Taylor, he jumped on the front of the bus saying he needed help. Before the driver could react, Taylor had entered the bus and was physical with the driver, attempting to move her out of the way so he could drive the bus. The driver was able to call for help and a school district mechanic was the first to arrive and got Taylor off the bus.
Deputies spoke with Taylor who stated that he had run out of gas ad needed help but couldn’t remember much of what happened because he was under the influence. Taylor was transported to the hospital and was later released to the custody of deputies. The driver sustained a cut to her right arm, was treated at the scene by Crete Township Fire personnel and was released. No children were on the bus at the time of the incident.
5/22 Location: S. Governors Highway and W. Williams Monee
Summary: Steven Mixon, age 57, of Peotone was cited for aggravated speeding, failure to notify SOS of address change, and driving while license suspended.
