EAST TOWNSHIPS
10/27 Location: 26000 block of S. Creekside Drive Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet.
Location: 26000 block of S. Creekside Drive Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a 2016 Cadillac Escalade and stole it. The vehicle owner and his brother saw the vehicle being stolen and entered two of their other vehicles and followed the Cadillac. One of the owner’s relatives remained at home and spoke with deputies about the incident. That relative was able to contact the owner and deputies spoke with him. The owner stated that they had followed the vehicle through Peotone, Monee, and were on I57 north heading into Matteson via Route 30. The deputy advised multiple times to stop following the Cadillac.
The owner and his brother then advised that they observed the Cadillac pulling onto the shoulder of the road south of Rt. 30. The two men blocked the Cadillac in using their vehicles, but the offender was able to exit the Cadillac and took off running. Illinois State Police were on the scene and found the vehicle empty with the keys inside.
10/28 Location: E. Priscilla Lane and S. Raymond Drive Crete
Summary: Niyonna Hughes, age 23, of Chicago was cited for no valid driver’s license.
10/30 Location: 24000 block of S. Volbrecht Road Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence, ransacked several rooms, and stole jewelry, $100, and some food from the refrigerator.
10/31 Location: 25000 block of S. Highland Monee
Summary: An unknown male, driving a silver Dodge SUV, entered an open-air hanger and stole two weed eaters from inside.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
10/26 Location: S. Rt. 53 and W. Manhattan Road Jackson
Summary: Charles J. Snell, age 46, of 10055 S. Lowe Avenue in Chicago was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, speeding, no valid registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
10/29 Location: W. Raymond Drive Jackson
Summary: Victim stated that he received a phone call from an individual who stated that his computer had been compromised and advised him to go to his computer and go to a specific website address. The victim did so. The individual then advised the victim that there were thousands of dollars charged to his account and in order to offset those charges he would have to buy gift cards and provide the authorization numbers to the individual on the phone. The victim purchased $7,000 in gift cards and gave the numbers. After giving the numbers he received an email from his banks fraud department and then realized that he had been scammed. The victim was able to recover $1000 from one of the stores where he purchased gift cards from after the manager cancelled the card prior to the fraudster using the card. The remainder of the funds could not be recovered.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
10/29 Location: 25032 W. Renwick Road Mathers Woods Plainfield
Summary: Victim stated that he had rented two 2-man augers for an Eagle Scout project that was to take place at Mathers Woods within the hour. He set the augers next to the pavilion for awhile and when he returned the augers were gone.
10/30 Location: S. Weber Road DuPage
Summary: Jason Ahern, age 42, of Romeoville was cited for driving with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
10/31 Location: S. Independence and W. Renwick Road DuPage
Summary: John W. Angelus, age 34, of Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
10/28 Location: S. Harlem and W. St. Francis Road Frankfort
Summary: Nicholas Camerino, age 31, of Manhattan was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: Delaney Road and Westmoreland New Lenox
Summary: Omar Daval, age 27, of Olympia Fields was cited for aggravated speeding and improper passing.
10/29 Location: S. Harlem and Vollmer Road Frankfort
Summary: Kristine Dertz, age 55, of Frankfort was cited for aggravated speeding.

HOMER GLEN
10/25 Location: 15000 block of W. 147th St.
Summary: Conor Bruin, age 22, of Homer Glen was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: 12502 W. 143rd St. Speedway
Summary: Shortly after midnight deputies responded to burglary. Speedway employee stated that while she was working behind the counter an unknown Hispanic man came in wearing a hoodie and a blue mask. The man avoided eye contact, did not speak, and walked straight to the office area towards the back of the store. The man entered the office and then exited the store on foot. The employee realized then that the man had stolen several cartons of cigarettes and other tobacco products.
10/27 Location: S. Gougar and W. 159th St.
Summary: Jorge Martinez, age 58, of Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, and was held on an active DuPage County warrant.
10/28 Location: W. 151st and S. Rosarie Drive
Summary: Cindy Shefts, age 51, of Mokena was cited for aggravated speeding.
10/29 Location: W. 151st and S. Wingate Drive
Summary: Kelly Ferguson, age 21, of Homer Glen was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: 15000 block of S. Gougar Road
Summary: Carly Styka, age 25, of Homer Glen was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: S. Gougar and W. 151st St.
Summary: Mckenzie Dickerson, age 21, of New Lenox was cited for aggravated speeding.
10/30 Location: 12037 W. 159th Street Kenwood Liquors
Summary: An unknown subject wearing a mask and gloves and driving a black Mazda was observed on video surveillance entering the parking lot around 8:20am. The subject backed his vehicle up to the front handicapped parking spot and attempts to pry the bracket of the front window open. He then struck the window causing it to shatter. The subject then enters his vehicle and drives away. The store alarm was activated.
JOLIET
10/26 Location: Louis Road
Summary: Victim stated that after purchasing a MacBook Pro from a Best Buy, he returned to his residence. While getting out of his vehicle two unknown black males in ski masks approached him while one of the men pointed a handgun at the victim. The offender asked what the victim had, and the victim handed over the MacBook Pro. The offenders then ran off. The victim was not hurt in the incident.

Summary: Evelyn Rankins, age 44, of 1710 Arbor Lane in Crest Hill was arrested for aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer.
Location: 3401 Mall Loop Drive Super 8 Motel
Summary: Starr Bourgeois, age 43, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was held on three active warrants.
10/27 Location: 17000 block of W. Laraway Road
Summary: Bruno Rendina, age 43, of 2205 Loganberry Street in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Location: 95 S. Chicago Street Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Christian Ortiz-Arias, age 19 of 203 Lincoln St. in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery.
Location: 100 block of Louis Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a Chevy pick-up truck.
10/28 Location: W. Jefferson and Airport Drive
Summary: Telon J. Covington, age 40, of Joliet was cited for driving with suspended registration and driving while license suspended.
10/29 Location: 95 S. Chicago Street Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Anthony Powell, age 18 of Park Forest was charged with criminal damage to government property.
Location: Jones and S. County Line Road
Summary: Joe Johnson, age 31, of Kankakee was cited for suspended registration and driving while license suspended.
Location: Pinewood and Manhattan Road
Summary: Donta Bailey, age 19, of Joliet was cited for improper lighting and driving while suspended registration.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2001 Ford F-250 with an attached snowplow.
