WEST TOWNSHIPS
2/4 Location: 22000 block of W. Niagara Trail Plainfield
Summary: Steven Pearson, age 69, of 14063 S. Oakdale Circle in Plainfield was arrested for aggravated battery.
2/5 Location: S. County Line Road and W. Renwick Road Plainfield
Summary: Keith Q. Gray, age 25, of 2587 Canyon Drive in Plainfield was arrested for criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer.
Location: 20000 block of W. Barrington Lane Plainfield
Summary: Victim stated that she received a phone call from a person who identified herself as Donna Ford from Apple Corporation. ‘Donna’ advised the victim that someone had hacked her Iphone and was using the victim’s personal location to order Lift rides. ‘Donna’ further advised the victim that she had a $400 balance that the victim would need to pay in order to get the victims information removed by the hacker.
The victim was then instructed to go to Walgreens and purchase two Google Play cards totaling $400 and to call ‘Donna’ with the gift card numbers. The victim purchased the cards and after giving ‘Donna’ the gift card numbers was immediately disconnected. Several attempts were made via cell phone to contact ‘Donna’ with the number on the caller ID however, the victim was unsuccessful and realized she had been scammed.

2/5 Location: W. Angle Road and S. Rivals Road Wilmington
Summary: Jose Barajas, age 43, of 34318 S. Maple Terrace in Wilmington was cited for driving with suspended registration.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
2/4 Location: S. LaGrange and Market St. Frankfort
Summary: Zitlalic Lopez, age 20, of 20235 S. LaPorte Meadows Drive in Frankfort was cited for failure to yield and driving with no valid driver’s license.
Location: 200 block of William St. New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2014 Ford Edge from the driveway of a residence. A backpack, laptop, wireless keyboard, wallet, and checkbook were inside the vehicle at time of theft. The vehicle was unlocked.
HOMER GLEN
2/7 Location: 14115 S. Bell Road Wendy’s
Summary: Manager stated that upon opening the store at 6am he observed that one of the drive-thru windows were broken. Upon reviewing video footage it was discovered that an unknown male pried open the window and crawled inside. The offender then checked a cash drawer and attempted to pry open the manager’s office. The offender was not successful. All money and inventory was accounted for.

2/1 Location: Glenwood and Essington
Summary: Terrance Crooks, age 36, of 2320 20th St. in Zion was arrested for possession with intent to deliver cannabis, possession of cannabis over 100 grams, speeding, driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
2/2 Location: 303 White Avenue
Summary: Diego L. Ramirez, age 19, of this address was arrested for resisting a peace officer, domestic battery and aggravated battery.
2/4 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Eric W. Upchurch, age 39, of 134 S. First St. in Wilmington was charged with criminal damage to government property after kicking a video monitor causing the monitors glass front and electronic components to break.
2/5 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Eric W. Upchurch, age 39, of 134 S. First St. in Wilmington was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer, criminal damage to government property and criminal damage to property after he threw a Styrofoam cup of urine and feces at a correctional officer.
2/6 Location: 400 block of Pico St.
Summary: Victim stated that he had arranged to purchase an IPhone on the Offer Up app. He arranged with the seller to meet near a residence on the 400 block of Pico around 1pm. The victim arrived at the address when he observed two younger male/black subject walking up from behind his vehicle. Once the money was handed to one of the subjects, they both pulled out guns and demanded more money. A red Ford Fusion with tinted windows then also pulled up with two male/blacks inside with guns drawn. The victim gave the offenders $500. The two younger male/black subjects entered the Ford and it drove away. The victim was uninjured.
Location: 400 block of Pico St.
Summary: Victim stated that she had arranged to purchase an IPhone on the Offer Up app. She arranged with the seller to meet near a residence on the 400 block of Pico at 11pm. She arrived at the address with her husband. Victim stated then then observed a male black approaching their vehicle. When the money was turned over to the subject, he took off running.
*The above incidents related to Pico St. are under investigation by Sheriff’s detectives.

Summary: Eric W. Upchurch, age 39, of 135 S. First St. in Wilmington was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer after he threw urine/feces at the officer who was attempting to serve Upchurch his food tray.
Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Dion W. Hill, age 41, of 8206 S. Brandon Avenue in Chicago was charged with battery after he threw urine at another inmate.
2/7 Location: 100 W. Jefferson St. Will County Courthouse
Summary: Rickey D. Evans, age 31, of 1805 Arbor in Crest Hill was arrested for criminal trespass to a state supported property after he refused several orders to leave the courthouse for disruptive behavior.
Location: 1700 block of Houston
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2019 Kia Optima from the driveway of a residence. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside at time of theft.
