EAST TOWNSHIPS
5/26 Location: University Parkway and S. Steger-Monee Road Monee
Summary: Michael A. Jackson, age 28, of 14901 S. Richardmond Avenue in Posen was cited for disobeying a stop sign and driving while license suspended.
5/27 Location: S. Racine and W. Church Road Washington
Summary: Jacob Slager, age 24, of 30028 S. Ashland Avenue in Beecher was arrested for failure to report accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and unlawful possession of ammunition.
5/31 Location: S. Highland and W. Pauling Road Monee
Summary: Daniel Hernandez, age 57, of 42 Swan Lane in Beecher was cited for failure to yield while turning.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
5/28 Location: 33000 block of S. West River Road Custer Park
Summary: An elderly man stated that an unknown male/white knocked on his door around 11am and stated that he needed to see the property line in the man’s backyard because he would be removing trees for ComEd. The unknown man was described as being 5’7”, about 190-200lbs and driving a black pickup truck. The homeowner led the man to the backyard and spoke with him for about 20 minutes. The homeowner later discovered that cash had been stolen from a bedroom and believes the man was distracting him so he could be robbed.
5/30 Location: W. County Road and S. Indian Trail Road Wilmington
Summary: Carl Goodwin, age 40, of 20153 W. Goodwin Road in Wilmington was arrested for DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper use of registration.
Location: 2100 block of Lakewood Drive Wilmington
Summary: Andrew Barton, age 25, of 612 S. Outer Drive of Wilmington was arrested for criminal damage to government property, criminal damage to property, assault, two counts of battery and two counts of disorderly conduct.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
5/31 Location: 13000 block of S. Redbud Drive Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Kate Spade wallet containing an ID, cash, driver’s license and three credit cards.
6/1 Location: 2397 Von Esch Road Plainfield Finish Line Performance
Summary: Person/s unknown spray-painted the businesses front door, 16ft x 20ft. overhead door, small window, and a utility box with the words ‘George Floyd’.
Location: 2500 block of Von Esch Road Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown pried open the back door of an apartment unit. No entry was made.
LOCKPORT
5/26 Location: 300 block of Dell Park Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $15 in coins.
Location: 300 block of Hughes Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown smashed out the window of a vehicle and stole a sling bag, $10 in cash, a driver’s license and a prescription.
5/27 Location: S. Broadway and Caton Farm Road
Summary: Jordon Redmond, age 21, of 203 Union St. in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
5/28 Location: 16000 block of W. Bruce Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2006 Liberty trailer from a property it was being stored on.
Location: 14508 S. Archer Avenue Falcon Foods & Liquor
Summary: Four unknown male/black subjects, driving a dark grey or black BMW used a crow bar to break out the front door of the business. The subjects entered the store with black garbage bags and stole 90 cartons of Newport cigarettes and USC from the register. Under investigation.
6/1 Location: 14508 S. Archer Avenue Archer Avenue Tattoo
Summary: Person/s unknown broke out the front window of the business with a large piece of concrete. No entry was made.
JOLIET
5/27 Location: Caton Farm and Essington Road
Summary: Francisco Vazquez Dominguez, age 28, of 1016 Parkwood in Joliet was cited for speeding and no valid driver’s license.
Location: 24218 W. Frances Court
Summary: Antonio L. Payton, age 24, of this address was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: N. Center and Charlotte Avenue
Summary: Christine Angio, age 37, of 1126 Valter Drive in Carmi, IL was cited for improper lane usage, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: Loretta and Patterson NRG Energy
Summary: Deputies were called to a trespassing complaint. Deputies spoke with a security guard from NRG Energy who stated that 8 subjects had entered a fenced in area and swam in the quarry on the property. Several No Trespassing signs are posted on the property and an opening had been made in the fencing. All eight subjects were on scene and fully cooperated with deputies. After speaking with the property safety specialist via phone, charges were filed. Four subjects, ages 18-20, from Kankakee and Bourbonnais were charged with criminal trespass to property. Four juvenile subjects are pending charges.
5/28 Location: N. Hunter and W. Washington
Summary: Latasha Adkins, age 36, of 205 S. Ottawa St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: Plainfield and Essington
Summary: Johnnie R. Jones, Jr., age 26, of 1223 E. Cass in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: Walden and Moore
Summary: While responding to an unrelated call, deputies observed an unoccupied abandoned vehicle. Upon checking out the vehicle it was determined that it had been reported stolen out of Chicago Police jurisdiction.
5/29 Location: McDonough Street
Summary: Joseph Imbo, age 26, of 518 Gardner in Joliet was arrested for improper passing, illegal screeching tires and reckless driving.
Location: S. Chicago and E. Laraway
Summary: Julio A. Mireles, age 27, of 1113 Charlesworth Avenue in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding, and no valid driver’s license. Elvis Torres Martinez, age 24, of 2916 N. Wisner Avenue in Chicago was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: McDonough Street
Summary: Cleavon T. Bailey, age 42, of 123 4th Avenue in Joliet was arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Kaprison Holmes, age 34, of 621 W. Marion in Joliet was arrested for resisting a peace officer.
5/30 Location: 100 E. Laraway Road
Summary: Misty Marie Campbell, age 29, of this address, was arrested for criminal damage to property.
Location: Brandon Road and Patterson Road
Summary: Deputies were called to NRG Energy for a trespassing complaint. Deputies spoke with a security guard who stated that seven individuals were coming out of a hole in the fence from the quarry where they had been swimming. Several No Trespassing signs are posted throughout the area. All seven subjects cooperated with deputies. Three subjects, one 19 and two 18 year olds were cited for criminal trespass to property and two 17 year olds and two 16 year olds were released from the scene by their parents.
5/31 Location: 1822 E. Washington St. Ingalls Park Food and Liquor
Summary: At 11:25pm, several unknown males smashed out the front door window in order to gain entry into the business. The subjects then stole several large and single serving bottles of Hennessey.
Location: E. Zarley Blvd.
Summary: Brandon T. Agnew, age 34, of 1519 2nd Avenue in Joliet was arrested for battery.
6/1 Location: 900 block of Fernwood Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2002 gray Dodge 1500 pickup with a landscape trailer attached. The trailer contained two stand-up tractors and an extension ladder. The truck was owned by Lopez Landscaping.
HOMER GLEN
5/27 Location: 16000 block of S. Messenger Circle
Summary: Tadas Caplikas, age 25, of 13325 W. Choctaw Trail in Homer Glen was cited for aggravated speeding.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
6/1 Location: S. 79th Avenue and W. Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Kevin C. Kelly, age 35, of 8133 W. Hill Avenue in Frankfort was cited for reckless discharge of a firearm.
Location: 7700 block of W. St. Francis Road Frankfort
Summary: Martin R. Blossom, age 18, of 1307 W. 106th Place in Chicago was arrested for two counts of criminal damage to property.
