4/29 Location: 20000 block of S. Timberline Drive Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2007 Honda Accord from the driveway of a residence. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside at time of theft. Mokena Police reported another vehicle that was stolen on the next street on Pinegrove the same evening.
5/1 Location: 13000 block of W. 184th Place Frankfort
Summary: Deputies were called to a residence regarding a security alarm going off. While traveling to the residence they observed a 2018 Chevy Traverse stopped in the middle of the road on the 12000 block of 184th Place. The vehicle was idling with the keys in it and was unoccupied. Deputies observed fresh tire tracks in a residence yard and went to the door of the residence. The homeowner identified the vehicle as theirs and was unaware that it had been stolen out of the garage. It appeared that offender/s used the garage door opener that was in a second vehicle in the driveway to open the garage door and then stole the Traverse.
Location: 12000 block of W. 184th Place Frankfort
Summary: Two unknown men were observed on video surveillance checking door handles on two vehicles that were parked in the driveway of a residence. Both vehicles were unlocked and the offender opened and entered them. Nothing was missing from one vehicle and a small amount of change was taken from the other.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2008 Lexus GS from the driveway of a residence. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside at time of theft.

JOLIET
4/28 Location: 1800 block of E. Washington St.
Summary: Deputies were called to a call regarding shots fired. Upon arriving they spoke to two male subjects, one 17 years old and one 18 years old. Both initially stated that they were walking down the street when a van drove by and started shooting at them. Both subjects were transported to Silver Cross Hospital; the 17 year old was shot in the hand and the 18 year old was shot multiple times in the chest. It was later revealed that the two subjects were shooting at each other. The 17 year old juvenile was later arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated battery and reckless conduct. This remains an open investigation.

Summary: Natalya Linares, age 18, of 1101 Mills Road in Joliet was cited for failure to signal, fleeing/eluding the police and reckless driving.
5/2 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Quinton L. Jenkins, age 37, of 312 Morris in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.
Location: 1100 block of Sheila Drive
Summary: Angeline Harper, age 37, of 7915 S. Saginaw in Chicago was charged with disorderly conduct.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
5/3 Location: 700 block of E. Dayton Court Reed
Summary: Three subjects were observed running away from a residence that was being renovated. Owner of the residence stated that seven brand new windows had been broken.
