7/14     Location:  Weber Road and Root Street

            Summary:  Robert W. Meyer, age 28, of 667 Orr in Rockdale was cited for aggravated speeding, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and no valid registration.

 

            Location:  E. Washington and Cherry Hill Road

            Summary:  Michael Dennison, age 60, of 8 Luana Road in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.

 

            Location:  W. Laraway and Cherry Hill Road

            Summary:  Ezikel Rashid, age 28, of 1023 Shagbark Court in New Lenox was cited for driving while license suspended, failure to signal, improper display of registration and improper equipment.

 

7/15     Location:  1800 block of McDonough

            Summary:  Jaylin R. Williams, age 21, of 210 Fairmount Avenue in Joliet was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of stolen firearm.   He was held on an active Will County felony warrant.

 

7/18     Location:  Patterson and Brandon Road

            Summary:  NRG Energy security stated that seven subject were observed swimming in a quarry that was owned by the company.  Numerous No Trespassing signs were posted around the property.  Deputies located the seven individuals and were all cited for criminal trespassing to property.

 

7/19     Location:  1900 block of Plainfield Road

            Summary:  Eric Hernandez-Reyes, age 20, of 505 Clay St. in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

7/20     Location:  600 block of Manhattan Road

            Summary:  Victim stated that an unknown male subject, driving a white Dodge Ram, pulled up to his residence, exited the vehicle, and grabbed his one and a half year old German shepherd from the front yard.  The truck then drove off. 

 

            Location:  S. Chicago and E. Laraway

            Summary:  Baltazar Lozano, age 58, of 1315 Douglas St. in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.

NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT

 

7/18     Location:  1900 block of W. Haven

            Summary:  Elderly victim stated that around 4pm an unknown male white subject came to the from door and advised that he worked for a utility company and wanted to show the victim work that was going to be completed in the backyard.  The victim followed the man to the back of the house and they spoke for about 10 minutes.  The subject then left driving a black Jeep Cherokee.  The victim later realized that jewelry had been stolen from a bedroom.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke the window out of a vehicle.  A purse and keys to a business were stolen.

            Summary:  Connor W. Christensen, age 22, of 24910 Donegal Drive in Manhattan was cited for aggravated speeding.  Tyler J. Marz, age 27, of 14009 High Road in Lockport was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  August O. Anderson, age 32, of 604 E. Livingston in Streator was arrested for expired plates, improper use of registration, no valid registration, no registration plates, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

            Summary:  Maria T. Reyes-Leon, age 36, of 2219 Bogdan Lane in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, disobeying a lane control sign and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Charles Tucker, age 39, of 1307 Ashford Lane in Joliet was cited for driving while suspended registration.

            Summary:  Julius Davis, age 27, of 316 Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Stephen Priest, Jr., age 20, of 412 Salem Square in Bolingbrook was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2016 Honda Pioneer UTV from a trailer.

            Summary:  Dieshawn Rich, age 21, of 807 Juniper St. in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Jeremy D. Coates, age 26, of 1128 Gael Drive in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.

7/16     Location:  Chicago Road and E. 34^th St.                                Steger

            Summary:  Omar Rodriguez, age 24, of 1712 S. Dixie Highway in Crete was cited for no registration lights, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

7/17     Location:  31000 block of S. Kedzie Avenue            Peotone

            Summary:  Around 3:00pm, an unknown male Hispanic, about 40 years old, medium build, wearing blue jeans, a dark t-shirt, gym shoes and a blue hat, knock on the front door of an elderly couple.  The subject introduced himself at an employee of Com-Ed and asked the husband if he could show him his property lies.  The husband took the subject around his property and while doing so the wife observed a male white standing in the backyard near the residence.  Shortly after, she observed another male white standing inside her residence. When asked what he was doing inside her home, the male quickly left the house and entered a black van that was parked in the driveway.  The two male white subjects were identified as 1) in late 30’s or early 40’s, small build with brown hair, wearing jeans, dark t-shirt, and gym shoes.  2) in his 50’s, large build, jeans, dark t-shirt shirt and gym shoes.    Nothing was missing from the residence.

 

7/18     Location:  25000 block of S. Stoney Island Avenue                          Crete

            Summary:  Aisha Reed, age 29, of 7618 S. St. Lawrence Avenue in Chicago was arrested for obstructing identification and aggravated battery to a peace officer.

 

7/19     Location:  2800 block of W. Kennedy Road             Peotone

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2014 Cub Cadet riding lawnmower and a Stihl weed eater from an unlocked garage.

 

            Location:  32000 block of S. Ashland Avenue                      Beecher

            Summary:  Two unknown male Hispanics driving a gray Ford truck with a white stripe approached a homeowner and asked if he wanted them to seal coat his foundation.  The residence invited both men inside where one subject asked to use the washroom.  After a 30-minute conversation, the two men suddenly had to leave.  The resident discovered later that a leaf blower had been stolen from his back yard.

 

7/20     Location:  25515 S. Rt. 45                  Shell Gas                                 Monee

            Summary:  Around 5am, a male black and a female black entered the store and approached the ATM machine.  While at the ATM machine, the male subject removed a handgun from the female’s purse.  The male subject then approached the employee, ordered him to go behind the counter and turn his back to the subject.  The subject then stole the donation jar and both individuals exited the store.  They were driving a large white SUV.

7/15     Location:  S. Gougar and W. 159^th St.

            Summary:  Stanley Wesley, Jr., age 26, of 4035 187^th Place in Country Club Hills was cited for no valid driver’s license and aggravated speeding.

 

7/16     Location:  159^th St. and S. Will Cook Road

            Summary:  Victor Oliva-Gramajo, age 48, of 304 Marble in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license.

 

7/17     Location:  W. James Lane

            Summary:  An elderly couple stated that around 4:15pm, while sitting in the backyard, they were approached by a male Hispanic, 5’7”, 220lbs., wearing jeans, a bright neon green construction vest, and a dark blue facemask with the word “Hisson” on it.  The male subject stated that they had an issue with their water and he needed to check the water inside the house.  The female homeowner showed the man inside her home.  The subject was talking on a walkie-talkie while inside.  The couple then became suspicious and the subject left the residence.  It was later discovered that multiple pieces of jewelry had been stolen from a bedroom.

7/7       Location:  I55 and I80

            Summary:  Kenneth V. George, age 37, of Los Angeles, CA was arrested for obstructing justice and obstructing identification.  He was held on an active warrant out of Maricopa County, NV for drugs and sex trafficking.

 

            Location:  500 block of Fox Street

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a .22 magnum pistol from an unlocked vehicle.

 

7/8       Location:  Patterson Rd. and Brandon Rd.

            Summary:  Four 19 year olds were cited for criminal trespass to property after they were found by security guards swimming in the quarry owned by NRG.  Several No Trespassing signs are displayed on the property.

 

7/9       Location:  Brookforest and E. Black Road

            Summary:  Juan Mandujano, age 43, of 2813 Stonebridge Drive in Plainfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, unsafe tires, transportation of open alcohol and defective windshield/impaired view.

 

            Location:  Moen and Jewett

            Summary:  Scott Yucuis, age 35, of 260 Kings Court in LaGrange Park was arrested for unsafe tires, failure to signal turn, unlawful possession of cannabis, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage and DUI.

 

            Location:  I80 and Houbolt Road

            Summary:  Jimmy J. Meyers, age 32, of 104 Cliff Avenue in Lockport was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, no FOID card, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

            Summary:  Julio Lopez-Orozco, age 27, of 503 Grant St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and violating child restraints.

            Summary:  Destiny Griffin, age 19, of 1328 Fairmont Avenue in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:   Pinewood Lane

            Summary:  An elderly woman reported that around 5:15pm a male/white subject knocked on her back door and stated, “You have the corona virus in your water.  Let me show you.”  The woman allowed the man to come inside and he proceeded to turn on the kitchen faucet.  He then stated that he was going to put a filter on her water line.  At that time two additional male/white subjects, wearing health masks, entered the residence, attempting to not be detected, and headed towards the bedrooms.  The woman heard the subjects and when she entered a bedroom observed the two hiding in the corner.  The woman then chased them out of the house. 

The woman discovered several pieces of jewelry were stolen during the incident.

            Summary:  Willie A. Watt, age 55, of 410 Elmwood Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Gabriel Myart, age 31, of 157 S. Greenwood Avenue in Kankakee was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and Salem Drive

            Summary:  Herman D. Ware, age 74, of 205 N. Raynor in Joliet was cited for revoked registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Joseph T. Russiaky, age 25, of 1624 Bunker Hill Drive in Joliet was cited for no registration lights and no valid driver’s license.

            Summary:  Felix McCann, age 27, of 725 Cherry Hill Road in Joliet was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, endangering the life/health of a child, and two counts of no required child restraints.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole USC.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Terrence T. Williams, age 25, of 508 Bellarmine in Joliet was arrested for aggravated battery to a correctional officer.

 

            Location:  2800 block of Biltmore St.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a landscaping trailer and stole a backpack blower, a trimmer and an edger.

 

7/5       Location:  Walnut and Ridgewood St.

            Summary:  Darryl Montgomery, age 57, of 401 Bluff St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, failure to stop at stop sign, and obstructing identification.  He was held on an active Cook County warrant.

 

7/6       Location:  Brandon and Patterson Road

            Summary:  Seven individuals (ranging in age from 16 to 23) were cited after the security guard from the Boyd Quarry NRG alerted deputies to the individuals trespassing onto the property in order to go swimming.  All seven were cooperative and apologetic and admitted to seeing the No Trespassing signs.

 

            Location:  Theodore and N. Larkin

            Summary:  Raphel Howard, age 47, of 25124 W. Mary Court in Plainfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  Jennifer Kiernan, age 44, of 25124 Mary Court in Plainfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and illegal lane usage.

7/3       Location:  E. Exchange and E. Burville                      Crete

            Summary:  Gonzalo Alvarado Perez, age 42, of 15540 97^th Place in Dyer, IN was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and speeding.

 

7/4       Location:  W. Wilmington-Peotone Road and S. Rt. 45                                Peotone

            Summary:  George H. Spear, age 53, of 19600 S. Catulpa in Mokena was arrested for DUI, driving while license suspended, speeding, and failure to notify SOS of name/address change.

 

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

7/1       Location:  17000 block of W. Kinder Drive                           Jackson

            Summary:  Victim stated that he purchased a 2004 Polaris Sportsman ATV on Craigslist for $800 from a woman saying she lived in Chicago.  Victim stated that he knew the price listed was underpriced but the woman said that her son had recently died from an accident on the ATV and wanted to get rid of it.  After purchasing the ATV, the victim received an email from eBay Motor saying that they needed the actual cost of the ATV so that it could be delivered to his house.  He was instructed to purchase eBay gift cards at $200 each and send the gift card numbers to eBay Motors email address.  He was told that once the delivery was made he would be reimbursed the additional money back.  The victim purchased 30 eBay gift cards and forwarded the numbers.  He has not heard from eBay Motors, nor the woman, since June, when the transactions took place.

            Summary:  Anthony R. Infusino, Jr., age 19, of 118 Bush Drive in Elwood was cited for speeding and driving while license revoked.

 

7/4       Location:  23000 block of S. Saddlecreek Drive                    Manhattan

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from inside a garage.  Offender/s opened a truck that was parked in the driveway in order to use the garage door opener to steal the Jeep.  The keys to the Jeep were inside the vehicle at time of theft.

 

7/6       Location:  W. County Line Road and S. Kedzie                    Beecher

            Summary:  Lorena Cardenas-Alcazar, age 34, of 512 N. Rosedale Avenue in Aurora was cited for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

7/1       Location:  S. Budler and W. Lakeland Trail                           Plainfield

            Summary:  Alexis Diaz, age 22, of 2003 Westmore Grove Drive in Plainfield was arrested for disobeying a stop sign and possession of cannabis over 100 grams.

 

7/2       Location:  14000 block of S. Crete Court                              Plainfield

            Summary:  Two male white subjects were observed walking away from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in a driveway.  The subjects were then observed getting into a white Jeep Patriot.   The vehicle owner ran outside and began following the individuals in his vehicle but lost track of them on the Frontage Road.  Offender/s had entered a second vehicle and stole two dollars in change.

 

            Location:  S. Weber and W. Creekside Drive            DuPage

            Summary:  Tevin D. Russell, age 28, of 315 S. Taylor Avenue in Oak Park was arrested for DUI, no seat belt, illegal transportation of alcohol, and driving in the wrong lane of traffic.

 

            Location:  20000 block of W. Brentwood Court                   Plainfield

\           Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Fossil watch.

*Note:  Romeoville Police reported to deputies that they had several burglary to motor vehicle reports on Arborwood Circle in Romeoville and a stolen vehicle reported in their jurisdiction. 

 

            Location:  20000 block of W. Ardmore Circle                       Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole the rear license plate from a vehicle.

 

            Location:  21000 block of W. Boulder Drive                         Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole two air pods, a pair of Chanel sunglasses, a swimsuit, and $150 worth of new clothing.

 

7/4       Location:  16000 block of S. Legion Court                            Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2006 Chevy Cobalt from in front of a residence. 

 

HOMER GLEN

 

7/1       Location:  14000 block of S. Heathcliff Road

            Summary:  Person/s unknown called an elderly woman and stated that her granddaughter was currently incarcerated due to a severe traffic collision.  The subject stated that bail money was needed in order to release her granddaughter from custody.  The woman asked to confirm the girls name by giving the subject her granddaughter’s name.  The subject confirmed the name. The woman then became suspicious and stated that she would send the bail money at a later time.  The woman called relatives and found the call to be fraudulent. 

 

7/3       Location:  12000 block of W. White Oak Court

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 9mm, Glock 48 with a magazine and holster from a vehicle.

 

            Location:  15000 block of S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Patrick Thorne, age 38, of 700 Green Garden Place in Lockport was arrested for aggravated battery and aggravated assault.

            Summary:  Jose Hernandez-Martinez, age 29, of 1131 W. 10^th St. in Las Vegas, NV was cited for speeding, no seat belt and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Tatianna Malone, age 26, of 4161 Drexel Blvd. in Chicago was cited for no registration light, no driver’s license on person, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Shawn J. O’Farrell, age 64, of 17w290 Hillside Lane in Willowbrook was cited for aggravated speeding in a construction zone.

            Summary:  Samuel Westberg, age 23, of 25265 S. Colligan St. in Manhattan was arrested for possession of cannabis over 10-100 grams, unlawful possession of medical cannabis and speeding.

            Summary:  Justin Stark, age 25, of 1030 Gardner in Joliet was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Paul J. Elrod, age 20, of 2513 Waterford Drive in Crest Hill was cited for speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Derrick R. Cole, age 49, no address, was charged with resisting a correctional officer and battery.

            Summary:  Tyrielle Gordon, age 26, of 1449 Pioneer in Crest Hill was cited for improper taillights, no registration lights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Oscar Hernandez, age 41, of 412 Garnsey Avenue in Joliet was cited for no front registration plate, defective windshield, failure to signal turn, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.

            Summary:  Ramiro Iturralde, age 44, of 7522 W. 62^nd St. in Summit was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, obstructing justice and illegal transportation of alcohol.

            Summary:  Craig Smith, age 32, of 27821 S. Kedzie in Monee was charged with battery.

 

            Location:  E. Washington and Adella Avenue

            Summary:  William S. Lindsey, age 39, of 510 Eastern in Joliet was cited for failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  400 block of Hillside Road

            Summary:  Manuel Del Toro, age 21, of 510 E. Jackson in Joliet was arrested for DUI and no valid registration.

 

            Location:  200 block of Luana

            Summary:  Around 12:45am, shots were fired into a residence with two people inside.  A 24 year old male was struck in the abdomen from a bullet that went through the front door.  The man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital by East Joliet Fire where he was in serious but stable condition.   Current medical condition unknown. 

 

6/26     Location:  N. Larkin and Ingalls

            Summary:  Arturo H. Ceballos, age 29, of 242 E. Cass in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, and possession of cannabis 10 grams.  He was held on an active Will County warrant.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Larkin

            Summary:  Salvador Q. Evans, age 25, of 152 Parks Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper use of registration.

 

            Location:  I80 and S. Center St.

            Summary:  Misty Williams, age 40, of 398 E. Dewey Avenue in Melrose Park was cited for driving while license suspended, suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  Essington and Westgate

            Summary:  Michael J. Hudson, age 33, of 730 Green Garden Place in Lockport was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, felony possession of a firearm, No FOID card, possession of a stolen firearm, improper turn at intersection and obstructed driver’s view.

 

            Location:  Home St. and Pawnee

            Summary:  Marquise Smith, age 46, of 1328 Chippewa St. in Joliet was cited for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, expired registration, improper use of registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license revoked and DUI.  Smith was also charged with the following felonies:  aggravated driving while license revoked and three counts of aggravated DUI.

 

            Location:  Peale and Mabel

            Summary:  Heather Oram, age 30, of 109 Schorie in Joliet was arrested for driving on wrong side of road, failure to use turn signal, failure to display license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and DUI/drugs.

 

6/28     Location:  100 block of Jessie

            Summary:  Around 1pm, a man driving a 2000 Dodge Neon drove down the street and was shouting out the window.  The man then extended his arm out the window and shot a firearm three times into the air.  No one was injured.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

6/24     Location:  N. Independence Blvd and W. Normantown Road

            Summary:  Leroy Willis, age 56, of 406 Cherry in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

6/28     Location:  11000 block of S. Cindy Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a garage door opener.  A neighbor caught video of the incident and stated that four subjects were observed in a white sedan pulling on door handles of vehicles in the neighborhood.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

6/27     Location:  W. 143^rd St. and S. Mallard Drive

            Summary:  Jildardo Mancines, age 39, of 1801 S. Laflin St. in Chicago was cited for driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  12147 W. 159^th St.                                     Eddy’s Tobacco

            Summary:  Around 5am the alarm was activated at the business.  Deputies observed a window that had been broken with a landscaping rock.   Offender/s entered the building through the window and stole USC from the register.

 

6/28     Location:  W. 159^th St. and S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Kelly A. Mrozek, age 52, of 11037 Karen in Orland Park was arrested for DUI, failure to signal, disobeying a traffic control device and illegal transportation of alcohol.

 

            Location:  W. 151^st and S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Lukasz Glod, age 34, of 15303 S. Oak Run Court in Lockport was arrested for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, disobeying a stop sign, driving on wrong side of road, improper lane usage, driving while license revoked, failure to report accident by driver, failure to leave information, leaving the scene of an accident, operating vehicle in unsafe condition, reckless driving, and DUI.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

6/24     Location:  24000 block of S. Volbrecht Road                        Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2015 GMC Terrain from the driveway of a residence.  The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside at time of theft.

 

6/27     Location:  24525 S. Western Avenue             BP Crete        

            Summary:  Adrian Richardson, age 38, of 1120 Abbott Lane in University Park was arrested for criminal damage to property after he began arguing with the BP employee and was refused service, he then knocked over the multiple bags of potato chips and stomped on them before leaving the store. 

 

6/29     Location:  S. Western and W. Norfolk

            Summary:  Christopher Lockhart-Jenkins, age 22, of 91 Devonshire Drive in Crete was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, suspended registration, driving while license suspended, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving without headlights and disobeying a stop sign.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a purse from a front yard.  The owner had put the purse on the ground while she moved some chairs into the garage. 

 

6/19     Location:  I-80            New Lenox

            Summary:  Major L. Smith, age 22, of 1824 W. Marquette Road in Chicago was cited for speeding, failure to wear seat belt, failure to secure new registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper use of registration.

 

6/20     Location:  E. Laraway and S. Cedar Road                 New Lenox

            Summary:  Geavontae Brown, age 19, of 3137 Butler Avenue in Steger was cited with improper lane usage and reckless driving.

 

JOLIET

 

6/16     Location:  1700 block of S. Chicago St.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked truck and stole a knife, a wireless charger, two wallets, $50 and a driver’s license.

 

6/17     Location:  Highland Park and N. Gougar

            Summary:  Juan Leon, age 18, of 515 Scribner St. in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of stolen firearm and no FOID card.

 

6/18     Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Center

            Summary:  Rebecka Epting, age 23, of 193 Carriage Lane in Joliet was cited for improper display of registration, obstructed windows, no driver’s license on person and driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  E. Jackson and Collins

            Summary:  Robert Garner, age 31, of 103 Wesleyan in Lockport was cited for improper lighting, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  300 block of S. Briggs

            Summary:  Daniel S. Carreon, age 35, no address, was arrested for aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass to property.

 

6/19     Location:  1300 block of Pico Court

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2018 Hyundai Sonata.

 

            Location:  Plainfield and N. Prairie

            Summary:  Jaidyn Lane, age 19, of 7817 Briarcliff Drive in Plainfield was cited for no valid driver’s license and illegal use of cell phone.

 

            Location:  1400 block of Loretta Avenue

            Summary:  Daemontae Pruitte, age 26, of 224 Oscar Avenue in Joliet was cited for resisting/obstructing police.  He was held on a Joliet Police warrant and an IDOC parole violation.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Cagwin

            Summary:  Deshondra Knox, age 34, 1019 Lois Place in Joliet was cited for no registration light, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.

 

6/20     Location:  Richards and First Avenue

            Summary:  Ignacio Valencia-Gonzalez, age 47, of 33 Wilson Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  1400 block of Sehring

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2016 Jeep Cherokee from the driveway of a residence.  The keys were inside at the time of theft.  Joliet Police later reported that they had attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a male/black fled the vehicle. 

 

6/21     Location:  E. Washington and S. Briggs

            Summary:  Maylee Jimenez, age 50, of 1823 E. Cass St. in Joliet was cited for obstructing justice and driving while license suspended.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

6/17     Location:  14000 block of S. Naperville Road                       Plainfield

            Summary:  An elderly woman stated that a white pickup truck with a ladder on top pulled into her driveway.  The driver came to her door and stated that he had to check to see if her water was working properly.  The woman allowed the man inside and he then asked her to show him the water spiket outside, which she did.  The woman later discovered that she was robbed of cash and a safety deposit box key.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

6/20     Location:  S. Rt. 394 and E. Burville Road                Crete

            Summary:  Arthur B. Tylak, age 57, of 5621 S. Mayfield Avenue in Chicago was arrested for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license revoked and DUI/drugs.  Tylak was also charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, two counts of aggravated DUI/drugs, and possession of a controlled substance.

 

6/22     Location:  S. Rt. 394 and E. Richton Road                Crete

            Summary:  Ernesto Sanchez, Jr., age 42, of 562 W. Stanton Lane in Crete was arrested for aggravated speeding.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

6/16     Location:  14000 block of S. Cricketwood Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles.  Stolen from one vehicle was a Sig Sauer P938 9mm handgun and stolen from the second vehicle was a Springfield XDS.45 ACP with two magazines with ammunition.  A wallet was also stolen.

 

            Location:  13000 block of W. Filly Drive

            Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet containing credit cards and driver’s license.

 

            Location:  12000 block of W. Shellbark Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun.

 

 

6/17     Location:  12000 block of W. Beaver Den Trail

            Summary:  Around 12:30am, a male/black subject with dreadlocks, wearing a white t-shirt and black pants was observed inside a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a residence.  The subject stole $600 and credit cards and took off in a black sedan type vehicle was parked in the roadway driven by a second subject.

 

6/18     Location:  17000 block of S. Pineview Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet containing credit cards and a driver’s license.

 

            Location:  S. Suffolk Court and W. Yorkshire Court

            Summary:  Brandon Oakes, age 35, of 14948 S. Suffolk Court in Homer Glen was arrested for reckless driving and DUI/drugs.

 

6/19     Location:  W. 143^rd and S. Pheasant Lane

            Summary:  Michael J. Rowlett, age 36, of 201 N. Tyler Road in St. Charles was cited for disobeying a stop sign and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  W. 159^th St. and S. Hidden Valley Trail

            Summary:  Cody S. Duggins, age 19, of 16060 S. Parker Road in Homer Glen was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

6/20     Location:  S. Bell Road and W. Martingale Lane

            Summary:  Jordan James Eaton, age 32, of 2500 S. State St. in Lockport was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Susan Bowen, age 56, of 215 Wood St. in Wilmington was cited for failure to notify SOS of address change, no valid driver’s license and speeding.

 

6/20     Location:  S. Malibu Drive and W. Delaney Rd.                   Manhattan

            Summary:  Jake M. Brockett, age 22, of 15727 W. Menominee Court in Manhattan was arrested for aggravated battery, mob action and criminal damage to property.

 

6/21     Location:  N. Main and Canal                        Wilmington

            Summary:  Erasmo C. Ramirez, age 38, of 201 Ottawa Bend Drive in Morris was cited for driving while license revoked.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into three vehicles and stole numerous power tools.
