            Summary:  Roberto Canela, Jr., age 26, of 904 Ridge Way in Hermitage, TN was arrested for failure to signal, driving while license suspended, and possession of a controlled substance.

            Summary:  Luis Carbajal-Salguero, age 31, of this address was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

            Summary:  Regina Autman-Brooks, age 48, of 1912 N. Raynor Avenue in Crest Hill was cited for driving while license suspended, improper turn at intersection and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

            Summary:  Jonathan Theofield-Shaw, age 22, of 1600 Arbor Lane in Crest Hill was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and stole it.  The keys had been left inside at time of theft.  The vehicle was later found to have been involved in a pursuit with Illinois State Police at 2:40am near I80 and Briggs St.

            Summary:  Director of Exclusive Adventures LLC stated that person/s unknown stole over $16,800 worth of boating equipment that was on the company boat.

            Summary:  Chynna D. Evans, age 29, address unknown, was arrested for criminal trespass to property.

 

10/29   Location:  S. Briggs and Rosanne St.

            Summary:  Mayra Woolridge, age 44, of 1705 E. Washington in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, improper display of registration.  She was held on two active warrants: Will County and McLean County.

 

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX   

 

10/27   Location:  19730 S. Harlem Avenue              Speedway                   Frankfort

Summary:  Employee stated that around 6am, an unknown male black, dressed in a black hoody, entered the store and while standing at the counter a customer asked for a pack of cigarettes.  As the employee laid down a small amount of cash onto the counter that he had been counting in order to retrieve the cigarettes, the man reached in and took the cash.  He immediately left the store and got into a vehicle and left the scene.

 

11/1     Location:  21000 block of S.  78^th Avenue                            Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles and stole a toolbox, jumper cables, two pool cues in a case, and a small fire extinguisher from one of the vehicles.  The second vehicle had a leather tote with clothing inside, an IPad, a chrome book, a necklace, earrings, and a watch stolen.  Offender/s also flattened two tires on one of the vehicles and discharged the fire extinguisher inside of it.

 

11/2     Location:  7700 block of W. Garland Court               Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown spray painted a derogatory word on the side of a vehicle and spray-painted a line down the side of the same vehicle.  The offender also flattened a front tire.  A witness stated that she had observed a small black vehicle with temporary license plates that started with “G” in the area at the time of the incident.  The witness also stated that she observed a man run up to the vehicle and then run back to the vehicle entering the passenger side and speed off.

            Summary:  Qariah Eggleston, age 20, of 1053 W. 115^th St. was cited for no valid driver’s license.

            Summary:  Homer Township employee stated that person/s unknown caused damage to the large park welcome sign by striking it with a vehicle.  Replacement value:  $2000.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown threw eggs at several vehicles parked on the street causing small scratches to the paint.

            Summary:  James Scanlan, age 32, of 19615 Division St. in Mokena was arrested for DUI, driving while license revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, and illegal parking on roadway.

 

10/19   Location:  630 Gardner St.                 Terrace Inn Lounge

            Summary:  Around 1am, deputies were called regarding shots fired in the parking lot of the business.  Deputies spoke with witnesses who stated that three male subjects left the bar and were met outside in the parking lot by two male subjects who yelled something out at the three.   One of the two subjects pulled out a gun and fired the weapon three times.  All subjects entered their vehicles and left the scene.  Deputies later located the three male subjects where they were informed that one of them had a graze wound on his knee from being struck with a bullet.  He refused medical treatment.  Subjects were uncooperative about the incident.

 

NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT

 

10/15   Location:  21968 S. Howell Drive                              Marks Custom Auto     New Lenox

            Summary:  Person/s unknown used black spray paint and feces to deface the business service doors and overhead garage doors.  Profanity was spray painted on the doors and a large amount of feces was smeared on the doors and door handles.  Offender/s also spray painted profanity on a customer’s vehicle that was parked at the business waiting to be worked on.

            Summary:  Phillip McKay, age 46, of 505 Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device.

            Summary:  Matthew Brown, age 29, of 308 Waldmann Drive in Park Forest was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.

 

            Location:  W. St. Francis Road and S. Harlem                       Frankfort

            Summary:  Michael Petry, age 36, of 14305 S. Crystal Tree Drive in Orland Park was cited for driving while license revoked and driving without registration lights.  Danielle Ydreo, age 34, of 14305 S. Crystal Tree Drive in Orland Park was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and manufacture/deliver of a controlled substance.

 

            Location:  W. Kingston and W. Laurel Drive                        Frankfort

            Summary:  An 18-year-old male resident of Carol Stream reported to deputies that about 11:44pm he arrived at the above intersection in order to sell a pair of Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Carbon shoes ($360) to a buyer that had contacted him on Snapchat.  The victim stated that he sells shoes online and attempted to set up the transaction in the daytime, however the buyer insisted on the purchase happening ASAP.  When the victim met up with the buyer, there were two additional subjects inside the vehicle.  The driver, a younger male white subject, held the cash out of the window as the victim approached the vehicle with the box of shoes.  When the victim went to reach for the cash the driver grabbed the shoes, pulled back the cash, and took off in the vehicle. 

 

Note:  Frankfort Police also reported a shoe theft with similar suspect and theft information that had occurred at Home Depot parking lot on October 9.    

 

 

10/12   Location:  19900 S. Harlem Avenue              Lincolnway North High School parking lot

            Summary:  A 19-year-old male resident of River Forest advised deputies that he is a shoe collector and had posted a pair of 2016 Jordan Space Jam shoes for sale on Snapchat for $320.  The shoe collector received a message from an interested buyer and an agreement was made to make the deal around 11pm in the parking lot. The shoe collector pulled into the parking lot and observed the buyer to be standing outside alone.  The buyer asked to inspect the shoes using his phone flashlight and showed the collector the $320 in cash.  Once the buyer had the shoes, he took off running through the lot towards an unknown vehicle.  The collector chased after the buyer until he heard, and was struck in the forearm, with BB gun shots.   The shoe collector was able to collect $200 of the owed amount since the buyer dropped it on the ground as he was running away.

            Summary:  Ronald W. Weigand, age 54, of 11018 Wilmington Road in Peotone was arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of a property accident, possession of cannabis, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Cashone Kuhn, age 21, of 12645 W. Beaver Den Trail in Homer Glen was cited with driving while license suspended and was held on an active Will County warrant.  Sharlynn Parker, age 24, of 13178 Ironwood Circle in Homer Glen was held on an active Will County warrant.

 

10/10   Location:  12000 block of W. Joan Marie Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a garage and stole a 2015 Mercedes Benz S550.  The keys were inside the vehicle at time of theft.

 

10/12   Location:  13956 S. Bell Road                       Menards

            Summary:  Victim stated that while he was inside the store shopping, person/s unknown driving a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban, parked next to his truck in the parking lot and stole numerous tools from the bed of his truck.  Video surveillance revealed that the offender was wearing a bright yellow jacket with reflective markings.  The offender opens the tailgate of the victim’s truck and removed saws, blades, socket sets, lug nut sets, tool bags and three Dewalt cases.   Under investigation.

 

JOLIET

 

10/8     Location:  2329 Cherry Hill Road                              Legacy Trucking

            Summary:  Victim reported person/s unknown stole eight truck drums from the front of the business.  Video surveillance revealed a red 2001 Chevy Silverado pull into the parking lot about 3:18am.  Two white males wearing hats exit the vehicle and proceed to load the drums into their vehicle and drive off.  Under investigation.

            Summary:  Randall D. Edwards, age 38, of 126 E. Third in Braidwood was charged with defrauding a court-ordered drug/alcohol screening test.

            Summary:  Raymond D. Ransburg, age 24, of 5 Pheasant Run Road in Joliet was cited for speeding in a construction zone and no valid driver’s license.

            Summary:  Cesar Gonzalez, age 22, of 412 S. Raynor in Joliet was cited for no front registration plates, no registration lights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating vehicle without ignition lock device (BAIID), possession of suspended license and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  David E. Conway, age 40, of 10527 S. Church St. in Chicago was arrested for improper lane usage, speeding, improper turn signal, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of cannabis over 5000 grams (17,598.4 grams).

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Adrian Ellis, age 38, of 1538 Englewood Avenue in Joliet was arrested for battery.

 

10/11   Location:  E. Jefferson and Cottage St.

            Summary:  Adiel Diaz, age 63, of 106 E. Jefferson St. in Shorewood was arrested for DUI, possession of a controlled substance, fraudulent ID, aggravated driving while license suspended, improper lane usage, failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device and transportation of open alcohol.  He was also held on three FTA warrants; one from DuPage County, one from Will County, and one from Aurora Police.

 

            Location:  N. Larkin and Theodore

            Summary:  Matthew R. Zak, age 20, of 13239 S. Taylor in Plainfield was cited for failure to signal and transportation of open alcohol by driver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis. Timothy Nielson, age 24, of 1916 Yukon Drive in Bolingbrook was cited for possession of open alcohol.

            Summary:  Brandon Long, age 28, of 1321 Brown Avenue in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was held on an active Will County warrant.

            Summary:  Jason Stevens, age 26, of 308 Colburn Avenue in Joliet was arrested for resisting a police officer, armed violence, aggravated possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, attempted homicide of a police officer, aggravated battery and reckless conduct.  He was also charged with four counts of disregarding a traffic control device, two counts of speeding, three counts of failure to signal, one count of improper lane usage and one count of aggravated fleeing/eluding the police.

Summary:  Robert Lee Stephens, age 38, of 410 W. Pine in Enid, OK was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a construction site on September 30^th and broke into four trailers.  Stolen was three electric saws, an electrical scraper, a drill and drill set, sawzall, port band and three generators.

            Summary:  Miguel Barrios-Zacarias, age 29, of 201 Riley Avenue in Lockport was arrested for obstructing justice, aggravated fleeing/eluding police, aggravated discharge of a firearm and reckless conduct.  Ricardo M. Barrios Reyes, age 26, of 204 Second in Manhattan was arrested for obstructing justice, aggravated fleeing/eluding police, aggravated discharge of a firearm and reckless conduct.  He was also held on an active FTA warrant.  Joseph Asbury-Butler, age 22, of 650 Chase Avenue in Joliet was arrested for obstructing justice, aggravated fleeing/eluding police, aggravated discharge of a firearm and reckless conduct.

            Summary:  Randall Manion, age 37, of 24122 S. Burr Court in Channahon was arrested for DUI.

            Summary:  Lioneil Smith, age 29, of 1408 Freedom Blvd in Joliet was arrested for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give info/render aid, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a stop sign, aggravated speeding, improper lane usage, failure to signal, disobeying a traffic control devise, reckless driving, fleeing/eluding police, passing in no passing zone, driving while license suspended, DUI and DUI/drugs.  He was also charged with multiple aggravated driving and DUI charges.

Russiaky, age 26, of 1624 Bunker Hill Drive in Joliet was arrested for possession of drug equipment, no valid driver’s license, and two counts of obstructing/resisting a peace officer.

            Summary:  Juan A. Zavala, age 43, of this address, was arrested for aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting a police officer.

            Summary:  Gina L. Desmond, age 43, of 417 Simms in Aurora and Martha Barrios-Ramos, age 48, of 201 Riley Avenue in Lockport were both arrested for obstructing a peace officer.
