SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
6/29 Location: 23210 W. Stripmine Road Dockside Marine Wilmington
Summary: Around 8:40am, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call regarding burglary involving several stolen vehicles. Deputies spoke with an employee who stated that upon arriving at work he observed forced entry into one of the storage buildings that kept customer vehicles and new vehicles inside. Three vehicles were found missing: a Can-Am maverick x3, a Camo Can-Am Outlander 570 XT four wheeler, and a Can-Am Spyder RS TS three wheel motorcycle. Security footage is being reviewed.
6/30 Location: W. Bruns Road and S. Schoolhouse Road Manhattan
Summary: Taylor Pettenon, age 23, of 10027 W. Sweet Grass Circle in Monee was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
7/1 Location: 37000 block of S. Macks Road Wilmington
Summary: Around 1am, victim heard car doors closing and then observed three unknown subjects enter his 2007 Chrysler 300. Offenders then drove off with the vehicle. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys inside.
7/2 Location: 24250 W. County Line Road South Wilmington Sportsman’s Club Reed
Summary: A camper reported to deputies that person/s unknown spray-painted foul language on the front and both sides of his camper. The offender/s also flattened all four tires. Security footage is being reviewed.
7/4 Location: 34000 block of S. Lakeside Terrace Wesley
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 1991 Godfrey Marine Pontoon boat that was docked at a residence on the Kankakee River. The victim searched up and down the river for the pontoon but did not locate it.

Summary: Property owner called to report a suspicious vehicle parked on his property. Deputies went to the property where a vacant building and parking lot were located. A Hyundai Sante Fe was located. While running a background on the vehicle it was discovered that it had been reported stolen to the Clifton Police Department in Ashkum, IL on July 1st. Deputies are investigating whether or not the recovered stolen vehicle had anything to do with the stolen pontoon boat on July 4th. (See above report.)

Summary: Philip Giuffre, age 60, of 1873 N. River Road in Oregon, IL was cited for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: 1900 block of Robert St. Wilmington
Summary: Person/s unknown threw a large brick through the windshield of a vehicle.
7/5 Location: 22000 block of W. County Line Road Wilmington
Summary: Two unknown subjects were observed on video entering a business shop and stealing two all-terrain vehicles; a 2011 and 2019 Sportsman ATV. One of the ATV’s was later located about a ½ mile east of the property.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
7/1 Location: E. Richton and S. Torrence Crete
Summary: Deputies were dispatched to a hit and run accident involving a possible stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, they located a 2010 Ford Flex in a ditch on E.Richton Road with extensive damage to the windshield and front end. The vehicle was unoccupied with the key remaining in the ignition. A check of the vehicle revealed that the vehicle had been stolen on 7/1/21 from the Crete GoLo on Volbrecht Road in Crete.
7/3 Location: W. Crete-Monee Road and W. Pinewood Drive Monee
Summary: James J. Vitale, age 49, of 52 Thomas Avenue in Manteno was cited for failure to report accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
7/1 Location: 20000 block of S. Timberview Drive Frankfort
Summary: Victim stated that around 8:30pm he walked outside his residence and observed eight subjects attempting to gain entry into his vehicle. The subjects ran when they saw him. The victim gave chase but was unable to catch them. Victim stated the subjects all appeared to be white males, about 14 years old.

Summary: Tamika Neal, age 22, of 814 Purdue Lane in Matteson was cited for no valid license and aggravated speeding.

7/4 Location: 14000 block of S. Smith Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 1986 Yamaha XV700c out of the driveway of a residence.

6/29 Location: N. Larkin and Oneida
Summary: Ruben Alcala, age 45, of 520 Kingston Drive in Romeoville was arrested for failure to signal, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.
Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Johnathan N. Mosley, age 29, of 192 Roberts Road in Bolingbrook was charged with resisting/obstructing justice after he refused to be transported to DuPage County Courthouse for a court date.
6/30 Location: N. larkin and Glenwood
Summary: Whitney Sykes, age 32, of 202 E. Cass in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked.
Location: N. Larkin and Oneida
Summary: Johnny Stephen, age 40, of 2128 Luther St. in Lockport was cited for improper lighting and driving while license revoked.
Location: E. Washington and N. Boulder
Summary: David L. Bailey, Jr., age 34, of 507 Sehring in Joliet was cited for one headlight, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.
Location: Lois Place and Asbury Circle Drive
Summary: Alan M. Sunde, age 33, of 1010 Brentwood Drive in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, improper use of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was held on an active Will County warrant.
7/1 Location: 318 Hartford Place
Summary: David A. Swan, Sr., age 54, of this address, was arrested for battery.
7/2 Location: N. Hammes and W. Jefferson
Summary: Mary C. Martin, age 27, of 236 E. Illinois in Lemont was held on an active Will County FTA warrant. Carlos Cooper, age 48, of 1825 W. 115th St. in Chicago was cited for driving while license suspended and improper lighting when required.

Summary: Derrick D. Williams, age 42, of 1224 Linne Avenue in Joliet was cited for no registration lights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

Summary: Rodney Williams, age 28, of 14026 S. Oakdale Circle in Plainfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Akeela Jefferson, age 27, of 211 S. Center in Joliet was taken into custody on an active Will County FTA warrant.
7/3 Location: 2400 block of Meridian Drive
Summary: Brandon Lopez, age 27, of 2416 Meridian Drive in Joliet was arrested for aggravated battery.
7/5 Location: Mall Loop Drive and Colorado Avenue
Summary: Dawson A. Abbitt, age 28, of 421 Oak St. in Morris was cited for disobeying a stop sign and no valid license.

Summary: Derrell D. Draper, age 38, of 807 Hollow Glen in Joliet was charged with battery after getting into a physical altercation with another inmate.
HOMER GLEN
6/30 Location: 12000 block of W. 159th St.
Summary: Person/s unknown stole copper wire, copper grounding plate and a 4 ft. ladder from an AT&T cell phone tower.
7/3 Location: 15000 block of S. Glen Wood Court
Summary: Person/s unknown shattered the side window of a vehicle in order to gain entry. Missing was a wallet, sunglasses, $100 and a Sig Sauer pistol.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
6/29 Location: 24000 block of W. 103rd St. Wheatland
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2011 Infiniti QX56 SUV from the driveway of a residence. The keys were inside the vehicle at time of theft.
7/5 Location: 23533 W. Main St. Midwest Hot Rods Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a trailer from the property. The trailer had tow straps and a winch inside at time of theft.
