JOLIET
5/18 Location: W. Jefferson and N. Hammes
Summary: Steven S. Chavez, age 36, of 807 Violetta in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and failure to yield private road.
Location: W. Cass and N. Ottawa
Summary: Rachel Prater, age 35, of 405 Taylor St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and obstructed view.
5/19 Location: 1913 S. Chicago St. Ranch Liquors
Summary: Victim stated that while she was inside the liquor store person/s unknown stole her 2005 Buick Rendezvous. A witness stated that they observed two male/black subjects that appeared to be juveniles, enter the vehicle and drive away. Video surveillance was reviewed and area police were notified of the vehicle theft and description of the offenders.
A short time later, other deputies in the area located the stolen vehicle near 2nd Avenue and Anderson Avenue. Deputies also observed a male subject rummaging through the vehicle. The subject took off running when he saw deputies. He was detained by deputies and taken into custody. He is 14 years-old and was charged with obstructing a peace officer and criminal trespass to motor vehicle.
During the same time and while searching the area, deputies located one of the subjects who had stolen the vehicle. He was a 15 year-old juvenile and was charged with motor vehicle theft. The passenger in the stolen vehicle was later identified and was charged with criminal trespass to a motor vehicle. He was 14 years old.

Summary: Eduardo Hernandez, age 20, of 920 Oakland Avenue in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: Caton Farm and Chevy Chase Drive
Summary: Julian Villavazo, age 20, of 6215 Southridge Drive in Plainfield was cited for aggravated speeding and driving while license suspended.
5/20 Location: 2423 Plainfield Road E&S Auto Sales
Summary: Person/s unknown came into the business property and stole three catalytic converters from vehicles.
5/21 Location: 1300 block of Cutter
Summary: Adrian Palmerin Villagomez, age 26, of 322 Liberty in Aurora was arrested for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to display registration, failure to report accident, failure to give information, driving while license suspended, aggravated DUI and DUI.
Location: W. Jefferson and Republic
Summary: Jasmine Hogluin, age 21, of 16346 Springview Drive in Lockport was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.
5/22 Location: S. Chicago St. and Dollar Tree Lane
Summary: Morgan Gonzalez, age 23, of 1707 Jeanette Avenue in St. Charles was arrested for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI, and DUI/drugs.
Location: W. Jefferson and Caterpillar Drive
Summary: Daryle Loehr, age 41, of 1102 Vine in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Location: Plainfield and Black Road
Summary: Ruth Robinson, age 34, of 411 Grant St. in Joliet was cited for improper lighting and driving while license suspended.
Location: S. Chicago and Zurich
Summary: Deshaun L. Weeks, age 43, of 404 Gardner St. in Joliet was arrested for driving while license suspended and possession of stolen motor vehicle.
5/24 Location: N. Midland and Oneida
Summary: Samuel Mays, age 28, of 366 N. Broadway in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and improper lighting. He was held on an active IL State Police warrant.
Location: Freedom Blvd. and N. Briggs
Summary: Christopher White, Jr., age 19, of 316 N. Bluff St. in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and one headlight.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
5/21 Location: 21060 W. Rt. 113 Custer Keg Wilmington
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into the establishment and then broke into a video gaming machine in order to steal the currency inside.
5/22 Location: 21000 block of W. Smiley Road Wilmington
Summary: Cal A. Testin, age 28, of 210 N. Fifth St. in Braceville was arrested for DUI, aggravated DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to give aid involving personal injury, leaving the scene of an accident, and no seat belt.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
5/23 Location: 1000 block of W. Kentucky Road Washington
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a Playstation 4, a gaming headset, and miscellaneous clothing.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
5/18 Location: 400 block of Nancy Court Wheatland
Summary: Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles and stole a phone charger and two pairs of sunglasses.
Location: 9700 block of S. Rt. 59 Wheatland
Summary: A woman reported to deputies that she received a phone call from a company that she was attempting to get a job with. During that conversation, it was learned that someone had put up a fake Facebook job posting with the company’s information on it, regarding the job she was applying for. The company stated that they do not advertise on Facebook. During a brief investigation it was determined that an unknown man posted the job opening and once he receives resumes he requests the individuals social security numbers and driver’s license numbers. Under investigation.
5/21 Location: W. Taylor and N. Weber Road Plainfield
Summary: Jozef Karkoszka, age 50, of 748 Countryside Drive in Bolingbrook was arrested for DUI, failure to signal and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
LOCKPORT
5/18 Location: 300 block of Edinburgh Drive
Summary: Timothy Churnovic, age 29, of 311 Maryknoll Drive in Lockport was arrested for criminal damage to property and was held on an active Grundy County warrant.
HOMER GLEN
5/21 Location: S. Eagle Ridge Drive and W. Cantigny Lane
Summary: Julie King, age 37, of 336 Richmond Drive in Romeoville was cited for speeding and drivng while license suspended.
NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
5/24 Location: 7800 block of W. Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2016 Dodge Challenger that was parked behind the owner’s house. The vehicle was locked and the owner had both sets of keys at the time of the theft.
