Sex Offender, Violent Offender, and Murder Registration

Registration by appointment only; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

No registration to take place on court designated holidays.

Attorney Security Pass Update

The last day for Attorney Passes will be December 7th, at which point the Will County Sheriff's Office will suspend attorney passes so that we can transition Attorney Pass operations and facilities to the Will County Courthouse- Sheriff’s Office. Issuing Attorney Passes at the Will County Courthouse will begin January 2nd 2018. Attorneys will then be able to obtain passes at the courthouse on the first floor in the Sheriff’s Office. For further information, please call (815) 727-8727 on or after January 2nd 2018.

The temporary shutdown will be due to moving assets to the courthouse, testing operations and training personnel.

*Attorneys with passes expiring during the transition period will be provided a 30-day grace period. *

The new hours of operation will be 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday…except holidays.

The cost of the attorney pass will remain $35.00 payable by cash, business or firm check as well as credit or debit cards.

Later in 2018, Attorney Passes will be able to be purchased online at any time.

If the transition of Attorney Pass operations to the Will County Courthouse is completed ahead of the January 2, 2018 date we will provide notice to local bar associations, courthouse and the Will County Sheriff's Office Website and Facebook page.
