Summary: Dennis Harris, age 66, of 12400 W. Hadley Road in Homer Glen was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating vehicle with no registration and defective windshield.
Location: 12300 S. New Avenue Norton Son’s Roofing
Summary: Person/s unknown entered the business property and stole a catalytic convertor from a Ford F150 work vehicle.

Summary: Junior Sanchez Sandoval, age 29, of 710 Bellevue Avenue in Elgin was cited for driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Hilario Cisneros Reyes, age 41, of 1213 Douglas St. in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.

Summary: Person/s unknown smashed out a window of a vehicle and stole a purse containing cash, prescription medications, and a checkbook.

Summary: Person/s unknown smashed out a window of a vehicle and stole a purse containing cash and credit cards. While victim was awaiting deputies to arrive to file the report she had already received a notice from Walmart advising her that a credit card purchase had been made.
7/8 Location: 9700 block of S. Carls Drive Plainfield
Summary: Victim advised that over the past year his residence had been targeted by someone hitting golf balls onto his property. On this date, one of his work vehicles was struck by multiple golf balls, causing dents in the vehicle and cracking a windshield. Victim advised that whoever has been hitting golf balls is improving their aim capabilities and fears that the balls will begin striking his residence.
7/9 Location: 23621 W. 135th St. Plainfield Eaton Preserve park
Summary: Victim stated that while he and his family were at the park he observed a male black subject climbing into his back window. The subject then left in a white four-door vehicle. Victim then went to his vehicle and discovered that the subject had stolen his wife’s purse containing cash and several credit cards. While deputies were taking the report, the victim received a phone alert stating that a purchase for over $500 was attempted at the Walmart in Naperville. The purchase was made by a female white who had attempted to use several of the cards at the self-checkout.

7/11 Location: 201 E. Romeo Road The Lonesome Keg DuPage
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2015 orange Kubota RTV900 from the business property.

7/6 Location: 200 block of Riley Avenue
Summary: James H. Berry, age 50, of 106 North Avenue in Lockport was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a stop sign, operating vehicle with suspended registration, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driver’s license classification violation.
7/10 Location: 110 Riley Avenue
Summary: George M. Towns, age 43, of this address, was arrested for aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting arrest.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
7/6 Location: 20000 block of S. Frankfort Square Road Frankfort
Summary: Darren J. Booth, age 40, of 3707 W. Hirsch in Chicago was arrested for criminal trespass to property.
7/8 Location: 7626 W. Lincoln Highway Old Plank Trail Bank Frankfort
Summary: Deputies responded to an activated alarm around 4am and observed the ATM at the drive-thru to be broken with plastic pieces spread across the parking lot area. Deputies also observed a black residue on the ATM. Deputies spoke with a clerk at the nearby Circle K who stated that he was inside working when he heard a loud boom. He exited the store and observed a subject entering the passenger side of an unknown type vehicle. Bank employee stated that no money had been removed from the ATM. Video surveillance was being reviewed at time of report.

7/5 Location: 23725 W. County Farm Road Michels Pipeline
Summary: Employee stated person/s unknown broke into a semi-trailer and stole a fluke multimeter, a Defelsko posietector and a testex spring meter. Estimated loss value: $4,550.
Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Antonio Tobar, age 36, of 358 N. Broadway in Joliet was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.
7/6 Location: 100 block of Edison Road
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse and Apple air pods.
Location: S. Briggs and E. Washington
Summary: Roy Perkins, age 47, of 415 N. Broadway in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: 400 block of N. Hebbard
Summary: Victim stated that he went outside about midnight and observed an unknown individual underneath the hood of his vehicle. The individual ran away. The victim observed his battery missing.
7/7 Location: Morgan and Pleasant
Summary: Sherri Barlow, age 56, of 416 Davison in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and expired registration.
7/8 Location: 400 block of Ray May Drive
Summary: Three unknown male blacks were observed on video surveillance removing the window panel from a residence. The offenders stole a Play Station 4 and a 55” TV.

Summary: Markise McKinnis, age 40, of 302 W. Division St. in Joliet was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Summary: Gabriel Nieves, age 19, of 17750 W. Quail Ridge Drive in Lockport was cited for speeding.
7/9 Location: 1500 block of Brandon Road
Summary: Persons unknown, driving a red Subaru sedan, stole a 2007 Nissan Murano from the driveway of a residence.
7/11 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: James Moore II, age 29, of 261 Seabury Road in Bolingbrook was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.
