EAST TOWNSHIPS
12/20 Location: 24000 block of S. Michaels St. Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a Nintendo Switch gaming console.
12/21 Location: 30000 block of S. Egyptian Trail Peotone
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a garage and stole a tractor. The offender/s used a trailer to haul the tractor away.
12/23 Location: 5900 block of W. North Peotone Road Peotone
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a B and J dump trailer that was parked on private property next to a barn.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
12/20 Location: 19730 S. Harlem Avenue Frankfort Speedway
Summary: Two male/black subjects were observed opening the drivers side door of a customer’s vehicle and stealing her purse. The offenders left in a white SUV.
12/21 Location: W. Benton and S. Harlem Frankfort
Summary: Robert D. Jenkins, age 37, of Hammond, IN was cited for driving while license suspended.
LOCKPORT
12/22 Location: 14363 S. Archer Avenue Rinks Gun and Sport
Summary: About 5:45am, a passing motorist called 911 about seeing three males breaking into the business. Deputies observed the front window of the business broken, however the interior steel barrier on the window restricted access to the building. Video surveillance was reviewed, and it was discovered that a charcoal gray Hyundai with no front plates and a rear passenger window broken, pulled into the lot. Two males with black masks attempted to break in while a third male repositioned the Hyundai for a quick exit. Deputies were able to obtain the license number and discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Calumet City the day prior. Upon contacting Calumet City, deputies learned that the vehicle had been recovered there. No arrests have been made.

Summary: Employee stated that upon arriving at the business he observed two windows broken out by large rocks. Nothing was taken from the business.
JOLIET
12/15 Location: 18400 NW Frontage Road ABS Repair
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a semi-trailer. At time of theft, there was nothing inside the trailer.
12/23 Location: 100 W. Jefferson St. Will County Courthouse
Summary: Antoine Henderson, age 28, of 316 Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook was charged with resisting a peace officer and contempt of court.
12/25 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Jason Watson, age 49, of 209 N. Center St. in Joliet was charged with criminal damage to government property.
Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Denziel T. Banks, age 26, of 3148 N. Christiana in Chicago was charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer.
HOMER GLEN
12/20 Location: W. 159th St. and S. Cedar Road
Summary: Tiana Crider, age 22, of Tinley Park was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.
12/22 Location: 12147 W. 159th St. Eddy’s Tobacco
Summary: At 6:29am, deputies were dispatched to the business regarding a burglary in progress. Deputies observed a gray Chevy Malibu or Sonic parked on the side of the store and an unknown subject run from the door of the store into the vehicle. The vehicle left the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Deputies pursued the vehicle eastbound down 159th Street until it was unsafe to pursue any longer.
Owner of the business stated that the offenders stole over $15,000 worth of merchandise including various assortments of cigarettes.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
12/26 Location: Robert St. and Hamilton St. Wilmington
Summary: Janie Ibarra, age 23, of 411 Trout St. in Wilmington was arrested for DUI, driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of open alcohol, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
