Summary: Person/s unknown broke into two landscaping trucks and stole a blower, pruner, three trimmers, three chainsaws from one truck and five chainsaws, a pruner, two trimmers, climbing gear and two hand pole saws from the second truck.

9/8 Location: 7200 block of W. Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle at the Speedway Gas station while the vehicle owner was inside the store. Offender/s stole a Victoria Secret tote containing medication, an IPhone 6, and $100.

Summary: Fredrich Myers, age 27, of 527 Algonquin in Joliet was arrested for improper lane usage, improper turn signal, transportation of alcohol, driving while license suspended, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a weapon.
9/9 Location: 20000 block of S. Timber Mill Drive Frankfort
Summary: Upon arrival deputies discovered, a 2010 Mazda 6 parked in front of a driveway with the doors unlocked and the vehicle had been rifled through. The key to the vehicle was located on the sidewalk a few houses down. Upon checking the registration, deputies located the vehicle owner who stated that person/s unknown had used a spare key that was inside the vehicle and moved it a few houses down from his driveway. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Summary: Person/s unknown opened the garage door of a residence, entered a truck that was inside, and stole about $7 and the garage door opener.

Summary: Timothy M. Skonicki, age 48, of Matteson, was arrested for battery.
9/5 Location: 14169 S. Bell Road Meijer
Summary: A 76-year-old woman stated to deputies that around 8pm while in the parking lot she was robbed. The victim stated that while placing her groceries into the trunk of her vehicle from her shopping cart, a vehicle with four unknown black individuals inside, pulled up to her shopping cart, one of the subjects leaned out of the rear passenger window, grabbed her purse from the child seat area of the cart, and they sped off. The victim had her cell phone, driver’s license, and multiple credit cards inside her purse.

Summary: Nicholas J. Flanc, age 31, of 19W455 Deerpath Lane in Lemont was arrested for screeching tires, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and DUI.

Summary: Daniel L. Drew, age 49, of 17515 E. Ina Road in Ina, IL was cited for driving while license revoked and failure to signal.

Summary: Allen S. Davis, age 52, of 187 N. Harbor Landing in Braidwood was arrested for DUI, failure to give information/render aid, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Mike M. Linklater, age 54, of 625 Montrose Drive in Romeoville was cited for expired registration, improper use of registration and improper lighting.

Summary: Sherron Demarco Graves, age 38, of 911 Longwood Drive in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and improper lane usage.
9/4 Location: 27000 block of S. Sylvan Lane Monee
Summary: Deputies were dispatched to this area regarding an unoccupied vehicle with its lights on parked in the middle of the roadway. When deputies arrived, they discovered an open toolbox and flashlight on the ground near the trunk of the vehicle. Deputies contacted the owner of the vehicle who lived down the street. The owner was unaware that his vehicle had been stolen. Nothing was missing. The vehicle had been left unlocked in the owner’s driveway.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a credit card and $180. Owner stated that the credit card has already been used at a Crestwood Speedway gas station by the offender.
Location: 26000 block of S. Foxwood Drive Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $110, set of headphones, and a social security number. The victim located her purse and miscellaneous papers on the roadway. Those items had been inside the unlocked vehicle.
Location: 26000 block of S. Hawthorne Trail Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse. The victim’s purse was located in the roadway. Offender/s stole a driver’s license and two credit cards from the purse.
Location: 27000 block of S. Kuersten Road Monee
Summary: Homeowner stated that he woke up at 2:15am to the sound of his attached garage door opening. The homeowner then looked out his window and observed an unknown subject running from the driveway into a parked car in the roadway. Upon checking his vehicle, he discovered that the subject had rifled through his vehicle and stole the garage door opener.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a driver’s license.
Location: 25000 block of S. Greene Castle Drive Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles. Nothing was missing from them. Offender/s also entered the attached garage of the home by using the garage door opener located in one of the vehicles. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Location: 25000 block of S. Bristol Lane Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered two vehicles. One vehicle was unlocked and parked inside the garage with the garage door left open overnight. Stolen from that vehicle was $20. The second vehicle was left unlocked in the driveway. Stolen from that vehicle was $30, a set of $300 Bose headphones, a Puma gym bag, and two garage door openers.
Location: 26000 block of S. Castle Gate Drive Monee
Summary: Deputies were dispatched (4:22am) to Governor’s Highway in Richton Park by Cook County Sheriff’s police regarding a vehicle that was located unoccupied and left running in a lane of traffic. The vehicle was registered to the Castle Gate Drive location.
Deputies then spoke to the vehicle owner who stated that his 2014 Volkswagen Jetta had been parked in his driveway in the overnight hours. He was unsure if the vehicle was locked but no broken glass was found in the driveway. Owner stated that a second vehicle was also stolen; a 2015 Lexus, that had been parking in the garage. Owner believes that person/s unknown entered the Volkswagen, retrieved the garage door opener and gained access to the garage. Once inside they discovered the keys for the Volkswagen and the Lexus, hanging on a peg, and stole both vehicles. Offender/s also stole keys to two other vehicles parked at the residence but they remained parked. The Volkswagen was returned to the owner.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke the window of a 2008 BMW and entered the vehicle. Stolen was $250, a $1,000 Omega watch, and a $300 pair of Prada sunglasses.
Location: South Kensington Lane Monee
Summary: Homeowner stated that after reviewing home surveillance he believes he observed the offender/s via video footage who may be responsible for the recent burglaries in the neighborhood. It was determined that two male subjects, driving a white or gray small vehicle, were at his residence checking to see if his vehicles were unlocked. The vehicles were locked. The subjects were not able to gain entry into the vehicles, got back into the vehicle, and continued southbound on Kensington Lane. Under investigation.
