            Summary:  Maurice Winston, age 42, of 1065 Amherst Lane in University Park was cited for aggravated  driving while license revoked, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper lane usage.

10/20   Location:  S. Rt. 53 and W. Hoff Road                                  Jackson

            Summary:  Kyle Purcell, age 43, of 3505 Von Esch Road in Plainfield was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

10/23   Location:  S. Rt. 53 and S. Division St.                                 Reed

            Summary:  Anamaria Bailey, age 56, of 1205 N. Kankakee St. in Aurora was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

10/24   Location:  20000 block of W. Kahler Road                           Wilmington

            Summary:  Mike O. Linklater, age 26, of 18366 W. South St. in Wilmington was arrested for DUI, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and too fast for conditions.

 

            Location:  W. Joliet Road and S. Wallingford Road             Manhattan

            Summary:  Fernando Fernandez-Morales, age 20, of 30855 S. Egyptian Trail in Peotone was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

10/20   Location:  14700 S. Parker Road                               Homer Glen Public Works

            Summary:  Office manager stated that person/s unknown removed two traffic analyzers from the asphalt on Parker Road, damaged them, and threw them into a ditch.

 

10/22   Location:  159^th St. and Bell Road

            Summary:  Raymond Nichols, age 76, of 16020 Pine Drive in Tinley Park was arrested for aggravated assault after he was involved in a road rage incident.

 

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

10/20   Location:  7800 block of W. Lincoln Highway                      Frankfort

              Kismet Restaurant – De Sabores Ice Cream Shop – Nutrition Hub – Miroballi Pizza  

            Summary:  During the early morning hours, two hooded male subjects, driving a black four-door compact vehicle with tinted windows, were observed on several video surveillance units. The offenders were seen throwing large landscaping bricks through the front doors/windows of the above-mentioned businesses.  Small amounts of cash were stolen from cash registers.  Offenders also attempted to break into Happy Daze Vape Shop but were unsuccessful.  Frankfort Police also had two similar incidents take place in their jurisdiction during the same period of time.

 

10/24   Location:  20000 block of S. Deerfield Court                                    Frankfort

            Summary:  William Groth IV, age 32, of 20146 S. Deerfield Court in Frankfort was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and endangering the life of a child.

 

10/25   Location:  21000 block of S. Hillside Road                                       Frankfort

            Summary:  James Jacobsen, age 49, of 10733 W. Gateway Drive in Frankfort was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving too fast for conditions and improper lane usage.

 

LOCKPORT

 

10/22   Location:  16145 W. Bruce Road                   TMobile                      

            Summary:  TMobile technician reported that within the past 2 months an unknown male had stolen 50 feet of copper wire and two copper grounding bars from the cell phone tower.

 

            Location:  15944 W. 163^rd St.                        TMobile

            Summary:  TMobile technician reported that within the past two months an unknown individual had stolen 30 feet of copper wire and two copper grounding bars from the cell phone tower.  

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

10/20   Location:  20621 W. Taylor Road                              DuPage

            Summary:  Verizon technician reported that around 2:30pm, while arriving to check the cell tower, he observed a male/white, six feet tall with a green shirt and a hard hat exiting the property.  The technician was able to follow the offender and give a description to deputies.  The offender stole $1,500 worth of copper.

 

            Location:  24143 W. 111^th St.                                    Wheatland

            Summary:  Employee from American Tower Corp. stated that over the past several months the company has had large amounts of copper thefts on their properties.  When he arrived at the property today he observed that person/s unknown had stolen copper and coax.   Video surveillance of the suspect was given to officers to further their investigation.

 

10/22   Location:  W. Larch Drive                                          Plainfield

            Summary:  Ladonna C. Peters, age 30, of 233 Butternut Drive in Bolingbrook was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery.

 

10/24   Location:  14000 block of S. Oakdale Circle             Plainfield

            Summary:  Daeviontae Pruitte, age 28, of 102 Park Avenue in Morris was arrested for aggravated battery.

 

JOLIET

 

10/22   Location:  E. Washington and S. Briggs

            Summary:  Victor Vincent Bailey, age 41, of W. Marion St. in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license.

 

            Location:  2119 Maple Road                          TMobile

            Summary:    TMobile technician reported that within the past two months an unknown individual had stolen 40 feet of copper wire and four copper grounding bars from the cell phone tower.  

 

            Location:  1125 Stein St.                                TMobile

            Summary:  TMobile technician reported that within the past two months an unknown individual had stolen 50 feet of copper wire and two copper grounding bars from the cell phone tower.  

 

            Location:  500 block of N. Hebbard

            Summary:  Frank C. Digilio, age 38, of 920 Manor Court in Joliet was arrested for battery and aggravated assault.  He was also held on an FTA warrant out of Will County.

 

10/25   Location:  1300 block of Brandon Road

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a home that was under construction and stole $2,500 worth of tools.

HOMER GLEN

 

10/15   Location:  W. Baywood Lane

            Summary:  Victim stated that on 10/12/21 she received a text message that stated, “BMO Harris:  Did you attempt a $99 Zelle payment?  Reply YES or NO.”   The victim text back, NO. The victim received a response stating that her accounts had been restricted and a phone call would be forthcoming.  The victim received a call from a male subject advising he was from BMO bank and that he would help her cancel the fraudulent activity but the victim needed to change her password.  The victim provided the (fraudulent) bank employee with banking information and a password.  She then received several texts from, who she believed to be, BMO bank stating that her accounts were all taken care of.  Soon after the victim received an email from BMO confirming a Zelle transfer from her account to an unknown email address for $2,000 and then a second text message with another $2,000 transfer to the same unknown email address. 

   The victim then called BMO Harris who froze her accounts.  The bank is investigating the scam.

 

            Location:  17000 block of S. McCarron Road

            Summary:  Victim stated that she received a call from a male subject who identified himself as a Detective from the Will County Sheriff’s Office who requested to speak to her regarding a failure to appear summons.  The (fraudulent) detective was able to provide personal information and her place of employment making the victim believe that the detective was real.  Victim stated that the detective requested that she buy $690 worth of pre-paid credit cards to pay the fake fines owed “so her professional license would not be suspended”.  The victim did as the detective instructed.  The detective then instructed the victim to drive to the Sheriff’s Office in order to obtain another $1,000 for a different pending citation.  The victim became suspicious and called 911.   Note:  The fraudulent call showed up as “Will County Sheriff’s Office” with the correct phone number of the Sheriff’s Office.  In addition, the fraudulent detective did use a current detectives name from the Sheriff’s Office.

 

10/17   Location:  14000 block of W. 143^rd St.

            Summary:  Steven Kent, age 34, of 750 Prairie Court in Marseilles was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

10/18   Location:  14169 S. Bell Road                                   Meijer

            Summary:  Omar S. Hasan, age 49, of 10550 Ridgewood Drive in Palos Park was arrested for retail theft.

 

JOLIET

 

10/12   Location:  Collins and E. Clay St.

            Summary:  Penelope McSherry, age 49, of 811 Gage in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, one headlight, and no front license plate.

 

            Location:  E. Cass and Scribner St.

            Summary:  Daniel O. Perez, Jr., age 22, of 211 Ross St. in Joliet was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and Essington

            Summary:  Anthony Jarzembowski, age 19, of 1419 Lakewood Drive in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  1600 block of New Lenox Road

            Summary:  Joshua Gemmell, age 33, of 1311 E. Cass in Joliet was cited for resisting a peace officer.

 

            Location:  S. Chicago and E. Laraway Road

            Summary:  Everardo Coss, age 39, of 4614 S. Sacramento Avenue in Chicago was cited for expired registration, no valid safety sticker, driving outside driver’s license classification, no valid CDL, and driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  1400 block of Dickens St.

            Summary:  Ramon Zamudio, age 34, of 1724 Rosalind in Joliet was arrested for theft of labor/services after he refused to pay O’Hare Airport Services a $361 fare.

 

            Location:     Notre Dame and McDonough

            Summary:  Heather Chanley, age 40, of 512 Douglas St. in Joliet was cited for improper display of registration and suspended registration.

 

10/14   Location:  700 block of Sugar Creek Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown drove passed a residence and shot several bullets towards the exterior of the home.  Bullets also struck a vehicle parked in the driveway.

 

10/15   Location:  16911 W. Laraway Road                          WC Sheriff’s Office

            Summary:  A deputy who is currently employed at the Sheriff’s Office reported that he received a call from a Palos Park police officer who informed him that a resident reported that she received a call from a male subject who identified himself as this deputy’s name from the Will County Sheriff’s Office.  The resident believed the call to be fraudulent and reported it to Palos Park police.    

 

            Location:  2427 Plainfield Road                    J and M Truck Rental

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a Hurst Trailer that was hauling a John Deere skid-steer from the parking lot of the business.

 

10/16   Location:  S. Eastern and 4^th Avenue

            Summary:  Johnnie Green, age 41, of 117 Third Avenue in Joliet was cited for expired registration and driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  Burl Court

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a catalytic converter off a recreational vehicle.

 

            Location:  Black Road and Addleman

            Summary:  Davor Johnson, age 41, of 818 Cardinal Lane in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and improper lane usage.

 

10/17   Location:  Sugar Creek Drive and Rowell Avenue

            Summary:  Brennon Ellis, age 33, of 106 Bush Drive in Elwood was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper motorcycle operation.

 

            Location:  4000 block of Hennepin

            Summary:  Shakir Hart, age 39, of 5026 Jefferson St. in Gary, IN was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, driving while license suspended, improper lighting, and disobeying a stop sign.  Hart was held on an active Indiana warrant.

 

10/18   Location:  500 block of Oakview

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole watches, a laptop, jewelry, gym shoes, Gucci shoes, and USC.

 

            Location:  100 block of Bradford

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2003 Mitsubishi Moreno from the driveway of a residence.  The owner had left the vehicle running while she ran into the house and when she came outside the vehicle was gone.

 

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

10/12   Location:  S. Rt. 53 and W. South Arsenal Road

            Summary:  Richard Goudie, age 50, of 343 Oak St. in Braidwood was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

            Location:  S. Essex Road and W. McGuire Road                  Wilmington

            Summary:  Aaron Przybylski, age 20, of 424 Berkshire Avenue in Romeoville was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

10/15   Location:  E. Mallard and S. Will Road                                 Wilmington

            Summary:  Brandon Ford, age 29, of 16244 E. Kingstree Blvd. in Fountain Hills, AZ was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, and illegal transportation of alcohol.

 

10/17   Location:  E. Main and N. Center                                          Braidwood

            Summary:  Heather Pickard, age 50, of 873 W. Main St. in Braidwood was arrested for DUI, illegal stopping/standing, and failure to yield to emergency vehicles.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

10/18   Location:  S. White Oak Lane                                                            Crete

            Summary:  Three unknown male/black subjects were observed exiting a residence through the front door as the homeowners pulled into their driveway.  All subjects entered a black mid-size SUV and attempted to back out of the driveway.  The homeowners were blocking the vehicle so the subjects drove through the front lawn in order to leave the neighborhood.  Homeowners called 911 and deputies arrived on the scene.  Stolen was USC, two rookie baseball cards, and coin collections.          Under investigation.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

10/12   Location:  W. Lakewood Falls and S. Kendall Drive                         Plainfield

            Summary:  Charles Smothers Nicholson, age 33, of 484 Foxborough Trail in Bolingbrook was cited for disobeying a stop sign and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  24137 W. 111^th St.                                                 Wheatland

            Summary:  Victim stated while at the gym person/s unknown shattered her driver’s side window in order to gain entry into her vehicle.  Offender/s stole a purse that was located under the seat of the vehicle.

 

10/18   Location:  23763 W. Rolf Road                                             Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a T-Mobile cell tower property and stole 60 feet of copper wire.

            Summary:  William Naughton, age 21, of 34540 S. Lakeside Terrace in Wilmington was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.  He was held on an active Livingston County warrant.

 

10/9     Location:  W. Joliet and S. 120^th Avenue                   Manhattan

            Summary:  Barry E. Anderson, age 52, of 24416 S. Clydesdale Court in Manhattan was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

LOCKPORT

 

10/11   Location:  700 block of Green Garden Place                         Lockport

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two lawn care vehicles and stole wallets, cash, and driver’s license, and debit/credit cards.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

10/8     Location:  24137 W. 111^th St.            Will County EMA                  Wheatland

            Summary:  Deputies responded to the EMA property regarding a theft of copper at various locations throughout the property.  The offender was described as a white/male wearing a white hard hat, black rimmed glasses and driving a tan GMC SUV with Minnesota license plates.

 

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

10/5     Location:  S. Pinehurst Drive                                     Frankfort

            Summary:  In September, victims received a phone call from a man stating that he was a federal government official and that the victims’ bank account information had been compromised.  After several conversations, the fictitious official requested that the victims send him $25,000 in cash.  They were instructed to tell the bank that the money would be for furniture and to put the money in a box to appear to be a birthday present and send it to an address in Broomall, PA.   The victims complied with the instructions.  A few weeks later, the victims were contacted again by the fictitious official and a second request for money was made.   The victims then became suspicious and contacted deputies. 

 

JOLIET

 

10/5     Location:  N. Briggs and Elgin

            Summary:  Luciano Oceloti-Montes, age 30, of 514 N. Briggs St. in Joliet was cited for no valid drivers license, speeding, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  N. Hammes and W. Jefferson

            Summary:  Dylan Burton, age 25, of 401 S. East St. in Essex was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a FOID card and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

            Location:  W. Maple Road

            Summary:  An unknown male/black subject wearing dark sunglasses, mask, and a yellow coat came to the front door of a resident.  The subject was heavy set and had a lanyard with the name ‘Alexander’ on the tag.  The subject asked the resident if he lived alone and to turn on the kitchen lights as he bumped passed the resident and entered the home.  The subject then began leading the resident around the home flipping light switches and then turning on and off the water in the bathroom and flushing the toilet.  The resident became suspicious and told the subject to get out of his house.  While the resident attempted to push past the subject to get out of the bathroom, the subject blocked the doorway.  It was at that time that the resident observed a second male/black subject, with a yellow coat on, outside the bathroom.  Both subjects then left the residence. USC was stolen from the basement of the home. 

 

            Location:  18901 S. Gougar Road                              T-Mobile

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole over thirty feet of copper wire from a cellular tower.

 

10/6     Location:  3109 Heritage Drive

            Summary:  J.J. Amador, age 29, of 309 Hartford in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, resisting a peace officer and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

 

10/11   Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Larkin

            Summary:  Jesus A. Vega-Ortiz, age 25, of 250 Krakar in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and obstructing identification.  He was held on an active Will County warrant.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

10/5     Location:  W. 159^th St. and S. Parker Road

            Summary:  Joshua Ogrey, age 26, of 14579 W. Kildare in Homer Glen was cited for speeding and driving while license revoked.

 

10/6     Location:  W. 151^st St. and W. Heritage Circle

            Summary:  Javier Gonzalez, age 25, of 3105 Euclid Drive in South Chicago Heights was cited for speeding and driving with no valid license.

 

            Location:  14053 S. Bell Road                                   Home Depot

            Summary:  Robert W. Tillman, age 55, of 6319 W. 99^th St. in Oak Lawn was arrested for felony retail theft.

 

10/8     Location:  W. 151^st St. and S. Suffolk Court

            Summary:  Anthony L. Lewis, age 27, of 14221 Dobson Avenue in Dolton was cited for speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  S. Gougar and W. 159^th St.

            Summary:  Audrey Rodriguez, age 27, of 542 Fair Meadows Drive in Romeoville was cited for aggravated speeding.

 

            Location:  15060 S. Bell Road                       Speedway/Dunkin Donuts

            Summary:  Deputies responded to an activated alarm around midnight and upon review of video footage found that a subject, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants broke into the Dunkin Donuts and removed USC from two cash registers. 

 

10/9     Location:  16000 block of s. Ridgewood Drive                                 Hidden Valley Subdivision

            Summary:  Three vehicles at one residence had their vehicles entered by multiple, masked and gloved, unknown subjects around 6am.  A second victim on Ridgewood also reported the same subjects at their residence who entered their unlocked vehicle. 

 

10/10   Location:  16000 block of S. Donna Marie Drive

            Summary:  Deputies were called to a residence around 2:05pm and spoke with a victim who stated that her 2018 Alfa Romero was stolen from her garage.   Victim also reported that a second vehicle had been rummaged through.  The keys to the stolen vehicle had been left on the seat of the car at time of theft.  The victim was home when the incident occurred.

            Summary:  Terwon L. Matthews, age 23, of 11355 S. Forest Avenue in Chicago was charged with resisting a peace officer after he refused to be transported to a court date.

 

            Location:  100 W. Jefferson St.                                  Will County Courthouse

            Summary:  Phillip J. Brisco, age 55, of 1027 Ashridge Lane in University Park was arrested for defrauding a court ordered drug/alcohol screening.

 

            Location:  3400 block of Mall Loop Drive

            Summary:  Marcus A. Steele, age 41, of 5300 S. Damen in Chicago was arrested for driving while license suspended, failure to signal while turning, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device and DUI.

            Summary:  David M. Caiafa, age 32, of 506 Emery St. in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, expired registration and possession of cannabis by driver.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                                       Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Johnathan N. Mosley, age 29, of 192 Roberts Road in Bolingbrook was charged with resisting a peace officer after he refused to be transported to a court date.

 

9/30     Location:  W. Jefferson and Republic

            Summary:  Michael A. Johnson, age 51, of 208 Two Rivers Court in Romeoville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and Essington

            Summary:  Christina Myers, age 54, of 310 Richards in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and Caterpillar

            Summary:  Carla Mendez, age 29, of 1419 Lakewood Drive in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.

            Summary:  Dwight Franklin, age 50, of 314 Oneida in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke onto the property and stole three copper ground bars and 30 feet of copper wire.

            Summary:  George J. Kou-Kou, age 20, of 16328 S. Fox Creek Lane in Plainfield was cited for no registration lights, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into the front door of a residence and stole three firearms.

10/1     Location:  25030 S. LaGrange Road                                      Monee

            Summary:  Ronald W. Hovey, age 44, of this address, was arrested for aggravated assault of a firearm, felony criminal damage to property, reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

 

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

9/29     Location:  I55 and W. Lorenzo Road                                     Wilmington

            Summary:  Taishay Coleman, age 21, of 936 E. 47^th St. in Chicago was cited for driving with suspended registration, speeding and failure to yield to emergency vehicle.

 

9/30     Location:  S. Rt. 53 and S. Tehle Road                                  Jackson

            Summary:  Edward Grebic, age 51, of 2807 Westmoreland in New Lenox was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

10/2     Location:  24000 block of W. Lorenzo Road                         Wilmington

            Summary:  Cody Niemann, age 31, of 199 S. Lincoln St. in Braidwood was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, and illegal possession of alcohol by driver.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

9/27     Location:  Cherokee Trail

            Summary:  Victim stated that she had hired a moving company and during the move she realized that fine jewelry, credit cards and cash were missing from the home.  No other subjects had been inside the home except employees of the company.  The items that were stolen had not yet been packed into boxes for moving.

Under investigation.

 

9/28     Location:  13017 W. 143^rd St.                                    European Imports Food and Deli

            Summary:  Two unknown subjects were observed on video surveillance throwing a brick through the front door of the business and entering it.  Subjects stole two cash registers.

 

            Location:  13031 W. 143^rd St.                                    Mug Shots Bar

            Summary:  Two unknown subjects were observed on video surveillance inside the bar after hours.  The front glass door had been broken in order for offender/s to enter.  Two cash registers were stolen.  The offenders entered a blue, two-door vehicle.  

 

Note:  Orland Park Police also had six burglaries on a strip mall located on 143^rd Street during the same period of time.   These burglaries are under investigation.

 

9/29     Location:  S. Parker and W. Stonebridge Woods Crossing

            Summary:  Noah Alyafai, age 19, of Heathcliff Road in Homer Glen was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license and speeding.

 

10/1     Location:  S. Parker and W. 143^rd St.

            Summary:  Peter A. Les, age 30, of 13816 Anne Drive in Lemont was cited for aggravated speeding.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2019 Ram Pickup Truck in the overnight hours.

 

10/2     Location:  14000 block of S. Pebble Creek Court

            Summary:  Brian Holmberg, age 47, of 5 Brook Lane in Palos Park was arrested for aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, and two counts of home invasion.

 

10/4     Location:  15000 block of S. Will Cook Road

            Summary:  Victim stated that around 2:34pm an unknown male subject came to the front door and stated that he needed to check the power lines on her house.  The subject then asked to come inside and check to see if her lamp had power.  He then walked inside the house and walked around while talking on a handheld radio.  The victim asked the man to leave and said she was calling the police. The man asked her not to call the police and told her to boil a pot of water on the stove.  The victim grabbed her cell phone and the man left the residence and entered a black midsize late model SUV.  Another subject was observed inside the vehicle. The man was described as being 5’11” with a thin build and dark complexion.  He was wearing a hat and a mask and had a knee brace on his right knee.

  The victim realized a short time later that two jewelry boxes were missing from an upstairs room and some collector coins.  The victim believes the second subject had entered her home while she was in the kitchen arguing with the first subject to leave her house.

            Summary:  Christopher J. Haramija, age 36, of 536 Parkview Lane in Lockport was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and reckless discharge of a firearm.

 

10/1     Location:  20000 block of S. Timber Mill Drive                                Frankfort

            Summary:  Sufyan Farhan, age 23, of 20749 S. Birchwood Lane in Frankfort was cited for failure to give information after striking unattended vehicle, failure to report accident, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

10/2     Location:  7654 W. Lincoln Highway                        Circle K                                  Frankfort

            Summary:  Victim stated that around 7:00pm he parked his 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee at pump 10 and walked into the gas station.  Five minutes later, while exiting the store, he discovered his vehicle was stolen.  The victim had left the vehicle running but the doors were locked.  Fine jewelry was inside the vehicle at time of theft.

            Summary:  Jacob D. Stanfort, age 26, of 3319 Hickory Lane in Hazel Crest was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. 

 

10/4     Location:  13550 W. Maple Road                              T-Mobile

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broken into the property and stole 25 feet of copper cable.

9/30     Location:  23000 block of W. Lake Place                              Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a vehicle and stole the garage door opener.  The offender/s then opened the garage door and stole a 2008 Mercedes Benz C340 out of the garage. 

 

10/1     Location:  Caton Farm Road and Rt. 59                                 Plainfield

            Summary:  Veronica Henderson, age 51, of 1759 N. Lorel in Chicago was cited for no valid driver’s license, expired registration and was held on an active FTA warrant.

 

10/2     Location:  11000 block of S.  Wolf Drive                              Plainfield

            Summary:  Edgar Lara-Giron, age 32, of 415 Sherman Avenue in Aurora was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and residential burglary.  He was held on an active Kendall County warrant.

 

10/3     Location:  23839 W. Andrew Road               Plainfield                     Stufin Mechanical

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into the property and stole a catalytic converter off a work truck.

 

10/4     Location:  26000 block of W. 119^th St.                                  Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into the property and stole a 1999 Chevy dump truck.  The offender/s were driving a white/silver four-door vehicle.

            Summary:  Victim stated he was selling his red dirt bike (SR85 Expert) to a person on Facebook.  When the individual came to purchase the bike, he asked the victim if he could take it for a ride.  The victim allowed him to take it.  The subject never returned and did not pay the victim the $2,500 that was owed.

            Summary:  Lamya Hadi, age 29, of 1656 N. Francisco in Chicago was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence.  It was unclear at time of report if anything was stolen.

            Summary:  Anthony J. Cravatta, age 27, of 1601 N. Shabbona St. in Streator was charged with defrauding a court ordered drug/alcohol screening test.  He was held on an active Will County warrant and an active LaSalle County warrant.

            Summary:  Briana Bryant, age 23, of 207 Herkimer in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, expired registration, no front license plate and speeding.

            Summary:  Crystal M. Fantasia, age 40, of 207 Barbara Lane in Steger was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possessing/bringing contraband into a penal institution.

            Summary:  Willie R. Waddell, age 53, of 650 3^rd Avenue in Joliet was arrested for aggravated battery to a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, battery, resisting a police officer, and was held on an active FTA warrant.

            Summary:  Quinntin J. Gilbert, age 37, of 812 Fuller in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Employee of T-Mobile stated that person/s unknown broke into the property and stole 30 feet of copper wire and two copper ground bars. 

 

            Location:  18249 S. Briggs St.                       La Herradura De Joliet

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2013 Land Rover from the rear parking lot of the rodeo property.  Joliet Police had located the stolen vehicle on 9/26 at Cass and Parks road.  The vehicle had been in an accident and was abandoned.
