EAST TOWNSHIPS
10/5 Location: W. Monee-Manhattan and I57 Monee
Summary: Richard Rutrues, Jr., age 36, of 6044 S. Vernon Avenue in Chicago was cited for disobeying a traffic device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
10/8 Location: S. Essex and W. Rt. 113 Wilmington
Summary: William Naughton, age 21, of 34540 S. Lakeside Terrace in Wilmington was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended. He was held on an active Livingston County warrant.
10/9 Location: W. Joliet and S. 120th Avenue Manhattan
Summary: Barry E. Anderson, age 52, of 24416 S. Clydesdale Court in Manhattan was cited for aggravated speeding.
LOCKPORT
10/11 Location: 700 block of Green Garden Place Lockport
Summary: Person/s unknown entered two lawn care vehicles and stole wallets, cash, and driver’s license, and debit/credit cards.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
10/8 Location: 24137 W. 111th St. Will County EMA Wheatland
Summary: Deputies responded to the EMA property regarding a theft of copper at various locations throughout the property. The offender was described as a white/male wearing a white hard hat, black rimmed glasses and driving a tan GMC SUV with Minnesota license plates.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
10/5 Location: S. Pinehurst Drive Frankfort
Summary: In September, victims received a phone call from a man stating that he was a federal government official and that the victims’ bank account information had been compromised. After several conversations, the fictitious official requested that the victims send him $25,000 in cash. They were instructed to tell the bank that the money would be for furniture and to put the money in a box to appear to be a birthday present and send it to an address in Broomall, PA. The victims complied with the instructions. A few weeks later, the victims were contacted again by the fictitious official and a second request for money was made. The victims then became suspicious and contacted deputies.
JOLIET
10/5 Location: N. Briggs and Elgin
Summary: Luciano Oceloti-Montes, age 30, of 514 N. Briggs St. in Joliet was cited for no valid drivers license, speeding, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: N. Hammes and W. Jefferson
Summary: Dylan Burton, age 25, of 401 S. East St. in Essex was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a FOID card and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Location: W. Maple Road
Summary: An unknown male/black subject wearing dark sunglasses, mask, and a yellow coat came to the front door of a resident. The subject was heavy set and had a lanyard with the name ‘Alexander’ on the tag. The subject asked the resident if he lived alone and to turn on the kitchen lights as he bumped passed the resident and entered the home. The subject then began leading the resident around the home flipping light switches and then turning on and off the water in the bathroom and flushing the toilet. The resident became suspicious and told the subject to get out of his house. While the resident attempted to push past the subject to get out of the bathroom, the subject blocked the doorway. It was at that time that the resident observed a second male/black subject, with a yellow coat on, outside the bathroom. Both subjects then left the residence. USC was stolen from the basement of the home.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole over thirty feet of copper wire from a cellular tower.
10/6 Location: 3109 Heritage Drive
Summary: J.J. Amador, age 29, of 309 Hartford in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, resisting a peace officer and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
10/11 Location: W. Jefferson and N. Larkin
Summary: Jesus A. Vega-Ortiz, age 25, of 250 Krakar in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and obstructing identification. He was held on an active Will County warrant.
HOMER GLEN
10/5 Location: W. 159th St. and S. Parker Road
Summary: Joshua Ogrey, age 26, of 14579 W. Kildare in Homer Glen was cited for speeding and driving while license revoked.
10/6 Location: W. 151st St. and W. Heritage Circle
Summary: Javier Gonzalez, age 25, of 3105 Euclid Drive in South Chicago Heights was cited for speeding and driving with no valid license.
Location: 14053 S. Bell Road Home Depot
Summary: Robert W. Tillman, age 55, of 6319 W. 99th St. in Oak Lawn was arrested for felony retail theft.
10/8 Location: W. 151st St. and S. Suffolk Court
Summary: Anthony L. Lewis, age 27, of 14221 Dobson Avenue in Dolton was cited for speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: S. Gougar and W. 159th St.
Summary: Audrey Rodriguez, age 27, of 542 Fair Meadows Drive in Romeoville was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: 15060 S. Bell Road Speedway/Dunkin Donuts
Summary: Deputies responded to an activated alarm around midnight and upon review of video footage found that a subject, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants broke into the Dunkin Donuts and removed USC from two cash registers.
10/9 Location: 16000 block of s. Ridgewood Drive Hidden Valley Subdivision
Summary: Three vehicles at one residence had their vehicles entered by multiple, masked and gloved, unknown subjects around 6am. A second victim on Ridgewood also reported the same subjects at their residence who entered their unlocked vehicle.
10/10 Location: 16000 block of S. Donna Marie Drive
Summary: Deputies were called to a residence around 2:05pm and spoke with a victim who stated that her 2018 Alfa Romero was stolen from her garage. Victim also reported that a second vehicle had been rummaged through. The keys to the stolen vehicle had been left on the seat of the car at time of theft. The victim was home when the incident occurred.
