9/28 Location: 95 S. Chicago St. Adult Detention Facility
Summary: Terwon L. Matthews, age 23, of 11355 S. Forest Avenue in Chicago was charged with resisting a peace officer after he refused to be transported to a court date.
Location: 100 W. Jefferson St. Will County Courthouse
Summary: Phillip J. Brisco, age 55, of 1027 Ashridge Lane in University Park was arrested for defrauding a court ordered drug/alcohol screening.
Location: 3400 block of Mall Loop Drive
Summary: Marcus A. Steele, age 41, of 5300 S. Damen in Chicago was arrested for driving while license suspended, failure to signal while turning, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device and DUI.
9/29 Location: Richmond and Woodlawn
Summary: David M. Caiafa, age 32, of 506 Emery St. in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, expired registration and possession of cannabis by driver.

Summary: Johnathan N. Mosley, age 29, of 192 Roberts Road in Bolingbrook was charged with resisting a peace officer after he refused to be transported to a court date.
9/30 Location: W. Jefferson and Republic
Summary: Michael A. Johnson, age 51, of 208 Two Rivers Court in Romeoville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield.
Location: W. Jefferson and Essington
Summary: Christina Myers, age 54, of 310 Richards in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.
Location: W. Jefferson and Caterpillar
Summary: Carla Mendez, age 29, of 1419 Lakewood Drive in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.
10/1 Location: 1800 block of W. Jefferson
Summary: Dwight Franklin, age 50, of 314 Oneida in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal.
Location: 1 Jessie St. T-Mobile
Summary: Person/s unknown broke onto the property and stole three copper ground bars and 30 feet of copper wire.
10/3 Location: N. Larkin and Avalon
Summary: George J. Kou-Kou, age 20, of 16328 S. Fox Creek Lane in Plainfield was cited for no registration lights, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

9/29 Location: 13000 block of S. Smith Road
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into the front door of a residence and stole three firearms.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
10/1 Location: 25030 S. LaGrange Road Monee
Summary: Ronald W. Hovey, age 44, of this address, was arrested for aggravated assault of a firearm, felony criminal damage to property, reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
9/29 Location: I55 and W. Lorenzo Road Wilmington
Summary: Taishay Coleman, age 21, of 936 E. 47th St. in Chicago was cited for driving with suspended registration, speeding and failure to yield to emergency vehicle.
9/30 Location: S. Rt. 53 and S. Tehle Road Jackson
Summary: Edward Grebic, age 51, of 2807 Westmoreland in New Lenox was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
10/2 Location: 24000 block of W. Lorenzo Road Wilmington
Summary: Cody Niemann, age 31, of 199 S. Lincoln St. in Braidwood was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, and illegal possession of alcohol by driver.
HOMER GLEN
9/27 Location: Cherokee Trail
Summary: Victim stated that she had hired a moving company and during the move she realized that fine jewelry, credit cards and cash were missing from the home. No other subjects had been inside the home except employees of the company. The items that were stolen had not yet been packed into boxes for moving.
Under investigation.
9/28 Location: 13017 W. 143rd St. European Imports Food and Deli
Summary: Two unknown subjects were observed on video surveillance throwing a brick through the front door of the business and entering it. Subjects stole two cash registers.
Location: 13031 W. 143rd St. Mug Shots Bar
Summary: Two unknown subjects were observed on video surveillance inside the bar after hours. The front glass door had been broken in order for offender/s to enter. Two cash registers were stolen. The offenders entered a blue, two-door vehicle.
Note: Orland Park Police also had six burglaries on a strip mall located on 143rd Street during the same period of time. These burglaries are under investigation.
9/29 Location: S. Parker and W. Stonebridge Woods Crossing
Summary: Noah Alyafai, age 19, of Heathcliff Road in Homer Glen was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license and speeding.
10/1 Location: S. Parker and W. 143rd St.
Summary: Peter A. Les, age 30, of 13816 Anne Drive in Lemont was cited for aggravated speeding.
Location: 14928 W. 159th St. Ketelaar Concrete
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2019 Ram Pickup Truck in the overnight hours.
10/2 Location: 14000 block of S. Pebble Creek Court
Summary: Brian Holmberg, age 47, of 5 Brook Lane in Palos Park was arrested for aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, and two counts of home invasion.
10/4 Location: 15000 block of S. Will Cook Road
Summary: Victim stated that around 2:34pm an unknown male subject came to the front door and stated that he needed to check the power lines on her house. The subject then asked to come inside and check to see if her lamp had power. He then walked inside the house and walked around while talking on a handheld radio. The victim asked the man to leave and said she was calling the police. The man asked her not to call the police and told her to boil a pot of water on the stove. The victim grabbed her cell phone and the man left the residence and entered a black midsize late model SUV. Another subject was observed inside the vehicle. The man was described as being 5’11” with a thin build and dark complexion. He was wearing a hat and a mask and had a knee brace on his right knee.
The victim realized a short time later that two jewelry boxes were missing from an upstairs room and some collector coins. The victim believes the second subject had entered her home while she was in the kitchen arguing with the first subject to leave her house.
NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
9/28 Location: 12000 block of Whisper Creek Way Frankfort
Summary: Christopher J. Haramija, age 36, of 536 Parkview Lane in Lockport was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and reckless discharge of a firearm.
10/1 Location: 20000 block of S. Timber Mill Drive Frankfort
Summary: Sufyan Farhan, age 23, of 20749 S. Birchwood Lane in Frankfort was cited for failure to give information after striking unattended vehicle, failure to report accident, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
10/2 Location: 7654 W. Lincoln Highway Circle K Frankfort
Summary: Victim stated that around 7:00pm he parked his 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee at pump 10 and walked into the gas station. Five minutes later, while exiting the store, he discovered his vehicle was stolen. The victim had left the vehicle running but the doors were locked. Fine jewelry was inside the vehicle at time of theft.
10/3 Location: 7654 W. Lincoln Highway Circle K Frankfort
Summary: Jacob D. Stanfort, age 26, of 3319 Hickory Lane in Hazel Crest was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
10/4 Location: 13550 W. Maple Road T-Mobile
Summary: Person/s unknown broken into the property and stole 25 feet of copper cable.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
9/30 Location: 23000 block of W. Lake Place Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a vehicle and stole the garage door opener. The offender/s then opened the garage door and stole a 2008 Mercedes Benz C340 out of the garage.
10/1 Location: Caton Farm Road and Rt. 59 Plainfield
Summary: Veronica Henderson, age 51, of 1759 N. Lorel in Chicago was cited for no valid driver’s license, expired registration and was held on an active FTA warrant.
10/2 Location: 11000 block of S. Wolf Drive Plainfield
Summary: Edgar Lara-Giron, age 32, of 415 Sherman Avenue in Aurora was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and residential burglary. He was held on an active Kendall County warrant.
10/3 Location: 23839 W. Andrew Road Plainfield Stufin Mechanical
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into the property and stole a catalytic converter off a work truck.
10/4 Location: 26000 block of W. 119th St. Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into the property and stole a 1999 Chevy dump truck. The offender/s were driving a white/silver four-door vehicle.
