12/24   Location:  12000 block of W. Lake View Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole four sterling silver pieces of jewelry, miscellaneous clothing, candles, and a wallet with credit cards and driver’s license inside.

 

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

12/25   Location:  N. Water and Bridge St.                            Wilmington

            Summary:  Brian D. Thomas, age 40, of 2358 E. Clark St. in Diamond was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to notify SOS of address change and improper lighting.

 

12/26   Location:  32000 block of S. Rt. 53                            Wilmington

            Summary:  Cully R. Vogt, age 33, of 1101 E. Kent St. in Streator was cited for expired registration, driving while license suspended and operating vehicle with suspended registration.

 

12/29   Location:  17000 block of W. Spangler Road                        Jackson

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles and stole several power tools, chargers, batteries two pry bars, several wrenches, and a vehicle key fob.

 

LOCKPORT

 

12/26   Location:  3016 S. State St.                Catholic Charities

            Summary:  An unknown male/black and female/black was observed pulling up in a red SUV, exiting the vehicle and placing several boxes of unknown items into their vehicle.  The boxes of items were a donation.

 

JOLIET

 

12/24   Location:  2600 block of Caton Farm Road

            Summary:  Ian E. Kush, age 30, of 2313 Messines Ridge Court in Joliet was arrested for obstructing a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, obstructing identification, and intoxicated pedestrian on roadway. 

 

12/25   Location:  Maple and Gage

            Summary:  Noe Zavala, age 40, of 1223 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet was arrested for DUI, no valid driver’s license, disobeying a traffic control device, and two counts of endangering the life of a child.

 

            Location:  819 Gage St.

            Summary:  Daniela Zavala, age 22, of this address, was arrested for criminal damage to property, assault, two counts of domestic battery, and two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer.

 

            Location:  E. Jackson and N. Eastern

            Summary:  Detrease Anderson, age 21, of 224 Illinois in Joliet was cited for three counts of resisting arrest and one count of obstructing justice.  He was held on two active Will County warrants.

 

            Location:  N. Larkin and Black Road

            Summary:  Antwonne Shelton, age 34, of 3602 Thoroughbred Lane in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

12/26   Location:  E. Cass and Henderson

            Summary:  Taylor M. Anderson, age 21, of 859 Avonley Creek Terrace in Sugar Hill, GA was cited for disobeying a traffic control device, expired registration, and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  E. Cass and N. Chicago

            Summary:  Angel B. Bonilla, age 22, of 311 Emery St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

12/27   Location:  N. Center and Campbell

            Summary:  Larry Thames, age 64, of 24209 S. Timberline Trail in Crete was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage.

 

            Location:  Park Drive and W. Marion

            Summary:  Edward F. Lewis, age 53, of 7637 S. King Drive in Chicago was cited for improper lighting, driving while registration suspended, driving while license suspended, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  18000 block of S. Farrell Road

            Summary:  An unknown male white or Hispanic, about six foot tall with a medium to large build was observed in video footage entering an unlocked vehicle and stealing a Beats Pro headphone set, a Go Pro Hero 3 camera and cash.

 

12/28   Location:  W. Jefferson and Morris St.

            Summary:  Anika D. Aguilar, age 26, of 3292 Lighting Court in New Lenox was cited for expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  1100 block of Bartel Road

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Macy’s credit card and a ring.

 

            Location:  S. Briggs and E. Washington

            Summary:  Josefina M. Black, age 48, of 108 Barr Elms Avenue in Joliet was cited for failure to signal and no valid driver’s license.

 

            Location:  Ingalls and N. Larkin

            Summary:  Michael W. Jenkins, age 35, of 2802 Korrel in Bellwood, IL was cited for expired registration, improper lighting, improper use of registration and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  S. Center and I80

            Summary:  Matthew M. Ferrier, age 44, of 114 N. First St. in Peotone was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

12/29   Location:  200 block of Timberline Court

            Summary:  Fernando Cabrera Sanchez, age 31, of 303 Maple St. in Joliet was arrested for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

12/30   Location:  N. Center and Oneida

            Summary:  Fernando Antonino, age 30, of 113 Linden Avenue in Joliet was cited for obstructing justice.  He was held on an active Will County warrant, LaSalle County warrant, and a Kane County warrant.

 

            Location:  N. Briggs and E. Cass

            Summary:  Guadalupe Navarro, age 58, of 15836 Fisk Avenue in Harvey was cited for failure to signal and driving while license suspended. 

 

            Location:  1700 block of Oakwood Lane

            Summary:  Around 10:26am, the owner of a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas started his vehicle to warm it up.  When the vehicle owner came outside a few minutes later, the vehicle was being driven down the driveway by an unknown person.  A white SUV was observed following the stolen VW.

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

12/24   Location:  7218 W. Lincoln Highway                        Speedway                   Frankfort

            Summary:  Around 5:45am, deputies were called to the business regarding an aggravated robbery that had just occurred.  Employees stated that two male/blacks, with ski masks and one with a handgun entered the station and demanded Newport cigarettes.  The employees were ordered to the back room at gunpoint and were told to assist them putting cartons of cigarettes into black garbage bags.  The men grabbed money from the register before leaving the store. 116 cartons of cigarettes were stolen.  They fled in a white Grand Cherokee with a black bag covering the license plates.   A customer was inside the store at the time but was not involved in the incident.  No one was injured.

            Summary:  Jordan N. Eisele, age 22, of 211 N. President St. in Wheaton was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving while license suspended.

 

12/27   Location:  W. Lincoln Highway and S. Harlem                     Frankfort

            Summary:  Wayne C. Smith, age 21, of 924 Beloit Avenue in Forest Park was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

 

            Location:  19730 S. Harlem Avneue              Speedway                   Frankfort

            Summary:  Ezekiel N. Lafond, age 22, of 17820 Rosewood Terrace in Country Club Hills was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property.

 

12/29   Location:  Center Road and W. Laraway Road                     Frankfort

            Summary:  Bruce Wille, age 68, of 449 S. Jean St. in Peotone was cited for failure to yield emergency vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  14000 block of W. Maple Road                            Mokena

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a compound hunting bow, 12 hunting arrows, and a pair of binoculars, a rangefinder, and two hunting knives. 

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

12/25   Location:  W. Hafenrichter Road and S. Normantown                      Wheatland

            Summary:  Amber A. Curry, age 23, of 3301 Deer St. in Woodridge was cited for no valid driver’s license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

12/26   Location:  12000 block of S. Elizabeth Drive                                                Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole several pieces of jewelry and an Ipad Air 2.  While on scene, deputies received a call regarding a second residential burglary on the 12000 block of S. Elaine Drive.

 

            Location:  12000 block of S. Elaine Drive                             Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole several legal documents, titles to vehicles, savings bonds, birth certificates, jewelry, and USC.    While canvassing the neighborhood a person advised deputies that they observed a suspicious dark colored sedan, possibly a 2013-2015 Buick Regal, in the area around 6pm.  A tall male/white (approximately 6’4”) was observed standing in the front of a residence in the neighborhood.
