Summary: Christian G. Bowen, age 21, of 14328 Smith Road in Lockport was arrested for expired license plates, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of a weapon.
12/13 Location: 17000 block of W. Woodbrook Lane
Summary: Person/s unknown peeled back the side passenger door of a vehicle in order to gain entry. Once inside offender/s stole a purse containing cash, credit cards and various gift cards totaling $2,000.

Summary: Jose A. Lopez, age 43, of 511 Oakview Avenue in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, resisting a peace officer, and DUI.

12/15 Location: 800 block of Harlow Avenue
Summary: An unknown, middle-aged, male Hispanic knocked on the back door of a residence and stated that he was going to be doing work at the front of the house. The homeowner observed a white four-door vehicle in the driveway and stated that the man acted like he knew her and another family member living at the residence. Shortly after the conversation, the homeowner saw the man inside her home in the dining room rummaging through envelopes. The man then left the home. The homeowners realized later that the man had stolen a small safe with a small amount of cash inside, gold and silver coins, a silver cross, and other items.

Summary: Kevin P. Cox, age 32, of 16957 Crown Drive in Orland Park was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2007 Chevy Tahoe from a driveway.

Summary: Sherman R. Hearn, age 29, of 556 Ward Avenue in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, improper turn, obstructing identification, violating an order of protection and obstructing justice.

Summary: Cesar Palmerin-Rodriguez, age 40, of 250 Krakar Avenue in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and obstructed driver’s view.

Summary: Deandre L. McNeal, age 27, of 1123 N. Hickory in Joliet was cited for improper lighting, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
