12/6 Location: 1200 block of Caton Farm Road
Summary: Sergio Cisneros, age 20, of 2206 Providence Way in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
12/8 Location: S. Weber and W. Airport Road
Summary: Crystal S. Bass, age 26, of 1712 Pinewood Lane in Joliet was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.
Location: 17000 block of W. Woodbrook Lane
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a backpack, helmet, three flashlights, and miscellaneous other items.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
12/5 Location: S. Rt. 52 and S. Foxford Drive Manhattan
Summary: Jonathan Valdez, age 35, of 831 Glenwood Place in Aurora was cited for illegal use of cell phone and driving while license suspended.
Location: W. Wilmington-Peotone Road and S. Cedar Rd. Manhattan
Summary: Jill Hossbach, age 58, of 14347 W. Bruns Road in Manhattan was cited for failure to yield stop sign and driving too fast for conditions after she went thru a stop sign and was struck by another vehicle. Hossbach’s Chevy pick-up was forced into a cornfield at the intersection. She was transported to Silver Cross Hospital by Manhattan Fire and later transported to Loyola Medical. The driver of the vehicle that struck Hossbach was taken to Silver Cross with cuts, abrasions, and back pain.
12/7 Location: W. Lorenzo Road and S. Will Road Wilmington
Summary: Sean V. Flores, age 22, of 31700 S. Old Chicago Road in Wilmington was arrested for DUI, aggravated speeding, unlawful use of a weapon and illegal possession of a firearm.
HOMER GLEN
12/3 Location: 15000 block of S. Woodcrest Avenue
Summary: Three unknown subjects were observed on video surveillance exiting a white SUV around 12:23am. The subjects began checking vehicles for unlocked doors in the neighborhood. One vehicle was unlocked and a subject entered it and stole a pair of Prada sunglasses.
Location: W. Dublin and S. Parker
Summary: Deputies were called around 5:13am regarding an unoccupied vehicle parked in the middle of the road. Deputies found a 2016 Chevy Traverse with a window rolled down, papers thrown about, and the key in the ignition. Deputies contacted the owners who lived on Meath Drive and they located to the scene. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the spare key inside the center console when it was stolen. Ten dollars of change was stolen.
Lemont Police also arrived on the scene and advised deputies that they had multiple victims of burglaries to vehicles, just north of this intersection.
12/5 Location: 15000 block of S. Manor Lane
Summary: Person/s unknown forced entry into a residence and stole USC.
Location: W. 159th St. and S. Bell Road
Summary: Mark A. Fitzgibbons, age 30, of 12910 W. 159th St. in Homer Glen was cited for driving while license suspended.
12/6 Location: 13000 block of S. Kickapoo Trail
Summary: Person/s unknown jumped on the roof of a vehicle causing damage.
12/8 Location: 14000 block of S. Innisbrook Lane
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked van, nothing was stolen. The vehicle owner stated that she had been having trouble with the door locks.
Location: 15000 block of S. Eagle Ridge Drive
Summary: Video surveillance revealed a male subject wearing a blue jacket with a hood, a mask, jeans, and gloves, entered an unlocked vehicle around 5:43am. Nothing was stolen. Video also captured an unknown vehicle waiting in the street while a second subject attempted to enter a neighbor’s vehicle. The door was locked making the suspects attempts unsuccessful.

Summary: Cassidy Hartman, age 24, of 618 N. Broadway in Joliet was arrested for failure to signal, expired registration, revoked registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, DUI/drugs, and possession of cannabis over 10 grams.

Summary: Melissa Bryand, age 41, of 721 Union Avenue in Romeoville was cited for failure to yield and driving while license suspended.

Summary: Ethan E. Barrera, age 23, of 1916 Vermette Circle in Plainfield was cited for driving while license revoked.

Summary: Antawon Dear, age 35, of 700 Hudson Avenue in Romeoville was cited for no registration light, driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Marshall Gatson, age 27, of 151 McDonough St. in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use/possession of a weapon by a felon, defacing identification marks on a firearm, improper lane usage, improper display of registration and defective windshield.

Summary: Mauricio Velez-Varela, age 40, of 1026 Bangs St. in Aurora was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: 24000 block of S. Marble Road
Summary: A male individual, in his 20’s, reported that he received a phone call from a man who identified himself as ‘Calvin Scott’ from the Social Security Department. Scott advised the victim that he was being audited and owed the SS about $300,000.00. The victim stated that he later received a call from a male subject who informed the victim that he worked for the FBI and again advised him he owed the same amount of money to the SS and if he did not cooperate, he would be arrested.
The victim was advised to avoid being arrested he was to make payment in gift cards with the money that he could come up with and if it was sufficient the agencies would drop the charges against him. The victim proceeded to Macy’s and Target and purchased 15 gift cards. Three Ebay and one Game Stop gift card was also purchased with the total amount of cards totaling over $7,000. The victim provided the fraudulent FBI agent with all the gift card numbers.

Government agencies do not call the public regarding money owed, nor does the FBI or other law enforcement agencies call the public to threaten arresting them for unpaid fees. If you receive any phone calls, text messages, emails, mail, stating that you owe money to the IRS, Social Security, law enforcement for an active warrant, your grandchild needing bail money in another state, or for any other reason, PLEASE do not give any personal information out, engage in conversation over the phone, or comply with their threats. Hang up the phone, take a minute and do some research of your own. Track down the actual phone number of the agency and make a few calls to verify. Scammers have become very persuasive, do not fall victim!

Summary: Mark Hardman, age 27, of 209 E. 19th St. in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended.
12/8 Location: Linden and Gardner
Summary: Niyata Warren, age 43, of 1309 Englewood in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and improper lighting.
Location: N. Center and Campbell
Summary: Aris N. Piedrola, age 27, of 4838 Honore St. in Chicago was cited for no valid driver’s license.
12/9 Location: W. Jefferson and Clement
Summary: William A. Todd, age 32, of 6830 David Court in Indianapolis, IN was cited for obstructing identification and was held on an active Illinois State Police FTA warrant.
NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
12/4 Location: 12000 block of W. Castle Drive Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole an employee ID.
12/5 Location: 200 block of Redwood New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a package (worth under $300) from a driveway that had been delivered through Amazon.
12/6 Location: 19000 block of S. Hillgate Road Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole two laptops, a backpack, and work supplies.
12/7 Location: 7800 block of W. Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: An unknown male subject was observed on video stealing a Ford F250 from a business. The vehicle was found abandoned an hour later on Steeple Chase and 78th Avenue. A tail light was broken out and a dent was found on the side. Nothing was missing.
Location: 900 block of E. Joliet Highway New Lenox
Summary: Frank J. Visak, age 26, of 620 Southgate Road in New Lenox was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and transportation of open alcohol.

Summary: Tessa Rose Botka, age 24, of 2008 Arden Place in Joliet was arrested for DUI, impeding the flow of traffic and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Summary: Aurora Rodriguez, age 24, of 109 Linden Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and improper lane usage.
12/7 Location: S. Rt. 59 and W. Roberts Avenue Plainfield
Summary: Fernando Gomez, age 28, of 2007 Oakdale Estates Drive in Plainfield was cited for obstructed window and no valid driver’s license.

Summary: Brandis Redmond, age 21, of 24735 S. Chestnut Lane in Crete was cited for improper U-turn on roadway.
12/4 Location: 24000 block of S. Western Avenue Crete
Summary: Jawan Johnson, age 26, of 21801 Central Park Avenue in Park Forest was cited for no registration light, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
12/6 Location: W. 36th Place and Chicago Road Monee
Summary: Richard H. Proctor, age 24, of 3602 Chicago Road in Steger was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Location: 25000 block of S. Kensington Lane Monee
Summary: Security footage revealed that at 3:00am a dark colored newer model Dodge drove passed a residence. The vehicle then parks near the driveway when two male/black subjects exit and walk up the driveway. One of the subjects appears to be holding a handgun aiming it at the open garage. Both subjects enter the garage, one subject attempts to enter a vehicle but the doors were locked. A second vehicle was entered and rummaged through. Nothing was stolen. Both subjects ran to their vehicle and drove away.
12/7 Location: Main and 5th St. Crete
Summary: Boris Evans, age 57, of 16349 S. Marshfield in Markham was cited for aggravated speeding, driving while license revoked and illegal screeching of tires.
Location: I57 and W. Wilmington-Peotone Road Peotone
Summary: Ryan Lavendecker, age 28, of 1505 Cobblefield Road in Champaign was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver. Tyler Bialeschki, age 25, of 4430 Medallion Drive on Orlando, Florida was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and obstructed windows.
