11/26   Location:  W. Laraway and Manhattan Road

            Summary:  Kelli D. Burt, age 41, of 15100 Madison Avenue in Dolton was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  E. Cass and N. Briggs

            Summary:  Daniel Audette, age 28, of 284 Blackthorn Road in Matteson was cited for displaying suspended license, driving while license suspended and obstructed driver’s view.

 

11/27   Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Ottawa

            Summary:  Sergio Jimenez, age 19, of 110 Arizona Avenue in Joliet was cited for expired registration, no driver’s license on person and no valid driver’s license.

 

                       Location:  2285 New Lenox Road                 All American Scrap

            Summary:  Person/s unknown cut the gate of the business in order to pull a Semi in and back it up to a trailer.  The offender/s then hooked the trailer up and pulled out with it.   It was reported that the trailer had approximately 41,000 lbs. of copper valued at about $100,000.

 

11/28   Location:  801 S. Briggs St.

            Summary:  Drew Abernathy, age 30, of 1700 Black Road in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended/revoked, improper lane usage and expired registration.

 

11/29   Location:  Elgin and Scribner St.

            Summary:  Mary M. Gurnitz, age 43, of 530 Fairbanks in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license.

 

            Location:  800 block of Baskin Drive

            Summary:  Dana Santiago, age 30, of 1939 W. Helen Drive in Romeoville was cited for suspended registration, driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

11/30   Location:  New Lenox Road and Milan

            Summary:  Roger Johnson, age 55, of 816 Milan Avenue was arrested for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, DUI, two counts of aggravated DUI and one count of aggravated driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  Copperfield and Miami

            Summary:  Angela Petty, age 37, of 415 Osage in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a stop sign.

 

12/1     Location:  Essington and W. Jefferson

            Summary:  Elton Dorsey, age 24, of 7 Ashbury Court in Bolingbrook was cited for no valid driver’s license and speeding.

 

12/2     Location:  E. Jackson and Henderson

            Summary:  Neftali Estrada-Mejia, age 24, of 15717 Woodbridge Avenue in Harvey was cited for driving while license suspended, improper display of registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  He was also held on two active warrants; one out of Orland Park and one out of Cook County.

 

            Location:  Plainfield and Pennsylvania

            Summary:  Alexandra Paradee, age 25, of 2930 Worchester Lane in Aurora was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  2400 block of Plainfield Road

            Summary:  Danny Hamant, age 34, of 1804 Brockway St. in Joliet was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery, and unlawful restraint.

11/29   Location:  S. Briggs and E. Division

            Summary:  James J. Nye, age 41, of 2293 New Lenox Road in Joliet was cited for failure to yield stop sign, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.

 

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

11/26   Location:  N. Division and W. Stripmine Road                                 Braidwood

            Summary:  Natalie N. Jerz, age 24, of 306 W. Hamilton St. in Odell was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to notify SOS of address change.

 

            Location:  21000 block of W. Rt. 113                        Wilmington

            Summary:  Frederick A. Zilm, age 41 of 2000 N. 14000 W. Road in Essex was arrested for criminal damage to property, reckless driving and aggravated battery.

 

11/27   Location:  S. Kankakee and Ridge St.                        Wilmington

            Summary:  Ayenda C. Zemaitis, age 37, of 1806 Heatherway Lane in New Lenox was arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to report accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

11/28   Location:  I55 and W. Lorenzo Road                         Wilmington

            Summary:  April B. Lindsey, age 26, of 2104 E. Empire St. in Bloomington was cited for driving without lights and driving while license suspended.

 

12/2     Location:  S. Rt. 53 and S. St. Louis St.                     Jackson

            Summary:  Michael A. Hart, age 41, of 8109 S. Chappel Road in Chicago was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  25000 block of S. Tehle Road                  Jackson

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole two copper ground bars from an AT&T cell tower.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

12/2     Location:  W. Rt. 30 and S. Normantown Road                    Plainfield

            Summary:  Daniel H. Roa, Jr., age 24, of 4107 Rivertown Drive in Plainfield was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

11/26   Location:  19000 block of S. Edinburgh Lane                                   Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown made forced entry into two apartments.  Offender/s ransacked the apartments.   One apartment resident reported stolen, three masonic collars with crosses and the other apartment resident reported stolen a burial urn with ashes, several pieces of jewelry and USC.

 

11/28   Location:  100 block of Michael Lane                                               New Lenox

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a vehicle and stole a wallet.

 

11/30   Location:  500 block of E. Lincoln Highway                                     New Lenox

            Summary:  Kanisha Peten, age 29, of 215 W. Oak Avenue in Lockport was cited for driving with expired license plates and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  7232 S. Benton Drive                    Frankfort                     Happy Daze

            Summary:  Mykal A. Evans, age 26, of Markham was cited for illegal sale of tobacco products to minor.

 

12/1     Location:  7654 W. Lincoln Highway                        Shell Gas         Frankfort

            Summary:  Sheriff’s deputies responded to an armed robbery call at 5:05 am.  Upon arrival, they spoke with an employee who stated that while he was in the back room he observed two male black subjects enter the store wearing ski masks, black hooded sweatshirts and black pants, both with a thin build.  One of the subjects jumped the counter and pointed a handgun at the employee while ordering him to the ground.  The second subject also jumped the counter and began putting cigarette cartons and packs into a large black bag.  The offenders also entered the register where they stole about $100.  During the incident, the employee was struck on the side of his head.  The offenders left in a four-door vehicle with tinted windows.    Under investigation.

 

12/2     Location:  W. St. Francis Road and S. Graceland                              Frankfort

            Summary:  Kristopher L. Budz, age 30, of 7763 W. emerald Court in Frankfort was cited for speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

11/21   Location:  17000 block of S. Windsor Court

            Summary:  Homeowner stated that his residence is currently for sale and he checks on the property periodically.  He stated that via video surveillance he observed that on 11/19/19 he observed a package being delivered to the front step by UPS.  About 10 minutes later a male/black subject dressed in a postal uniform came to the step and left with the package.  The homeowner stated that on 11/21/19 around 12:03pm he observed the same UPS delivery person deliver another package.  At 12:12pm, he then observed the same male/black wearing a postal uniform again take the package that was delivered.   Under investigation.

 

11/29   Location:  W. 143^rd St. and S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Eric T. Nilsen, age 40, of 3043 S. Lock St. in Chicago was cited for improper use of registration, failure to transfer title, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  He was also held on an FTA warrant.

 

12/2     Location:  W. 143^rd St. and S. Independence Way

            Summary:  Damian Jachymiak, age 32, of 15520 112^th St. in Orland Park was cited for one headlight, no rear registration lights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

11/27   Location:  S. Western and W. New Monee Road                  Crete

            Summary:  Mauro Vuelvas, age 30, of 15745 Wallace Avenue in Harvey was cited for no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, too fast for conditions and disobeying a stop sign.

 

11/29   Location:  W. Crete-Monee Road and S. Highland Avenue              Monee

            Summary:  Maurice A. Farley, age 22, of 1225 Arthur St. in Calumet City was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and speeding.

 

11/30   Location:  73 Partridge Lane              Beecher

            Summary:  Adam P. Thompson, age 33, this address, was arrested for criminal damage to property.

 

12/1     Location:  W. 34^th Street and Morgan                        Steger

            Summary:  Timothy F. Krygowski, age 35, of 154 Dorsetshire in Steger was cited for improper lighting and driving while license suspended.

 

12/2     Location:  23000 block of S. Western Avenue                      Crete

            Summary:  Teresa Heard-Waters, age 46, of 743 Burnham in University Park was cited for no valid driver’s license and failure to yield.
