8/20 Location: 29743 N. Readman Lane Wilmington
Summary: Janelle S. Riegel, age 41, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to government property.
8/22 Location: 22000 block of W. Rt. 113 Custer Park
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a pickup truck and drove it to the end of the 200 yard-long driveway. The keys were left inside. Two credit cards were stolen.
8/23 Location: Delaney and S. Schoolhouse Manhattan
Summary: Alejandro Ramirez, age 26, of 10345 South Avenue H in Chicago was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended and speeding.
8/25 Location: 34000 block of S. West River Road Custer Park
Summary: An unknown male subject was observed getting into an unlocked vehicle. The vehicle owner yelled at the subject to get out of his car and the subject took off running.
Location: 3100 block of E. Division St. Reed
Summary: Pete D. Castillo, age 25, of 2442 Lewis St. in Blue Island was arrested for DUI and failure to notify SOS of address change.
8/26 Location: 19000 block of W. Tanglewood Drive Jackson
Summary: Sheriff’s deputies were notified by Mokena Police that they had discovered a stolen 2013 Dodge Avenger at the LaGrange Road, Mobil gas station. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Elwood. Deputies contacted the owner of the vehicle and she was able to recover it.
LOCKPORT
8/24 Location: 2100 block of Arthur Avenue
Summary: Deputies were called to the area in regards to shots fired. Upon arrival, they met with several Joliet Police Officers who were also dispatched to the area. A canvass of the area turned up two spent shell casings. No injuries were reported.
8/26 Location: 3226 S. State St. Conway’s Hi-Style Center
Summary: Person/s unknown busted open the front door to the barbershop. Nothing was missing or damaged inside the shop.

8/20 Location: Caton Farm and Greengold St.
Summary: Christopher Muren, age 36, of 2211 Greengold St. in Crest Hill was arrested for failure to signal, driving on wrong side of street, expired registration, possession of a controlled substance, and DUI.
8/21 Location: E. Washington and Jessie
Summary: Araceli Ramirez-Hernandez, age 36, of 7 Jessie St. in Joliet was arrested for driving on wrong side of road, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device, DUI, failure to signal and failure to yield to emergency vehicle.

Summary: Wayman C. Taylor, age 64, of 711 Driftwood Court in University Park was cited for failure to signal, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: George C. Woods, III, age 32, of 1804 Houston Avenue in Joliet was arrested for resisting arrest, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of a controlled substance.
8/22 Location: E. Cass and E. Washington
Summary: Katherine Saldana, age 25, of 10706 St. John Drive in Mokena was cited for driving while license suspended and expired registration.
Location: 421 N. Center St.
Summary: Quinntin J. Gilbert, age 35, of 812 Fuller in Joliet was arrested for improper lane usage, driving on sidewalk, failure to signal, disobeying a traffic control device, abandoning vehicle on highway, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked. Gilbert was also charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated fleeing/eluding and resisting a peace officer.

Summary: Geraldine Lindsey, age 29, of 708 2nd Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, disobeying a traffic control device, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper use of a registration and aggravated DUI. Quention L. Pringle, age 24, of 207 Doris Avenue in Joliet was arrested for aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Constance K. Summit, age 25, of 568 E. Cass St. in Joliet was arrested for aggravated battery.

Summary: Monte L. Alexander, age 40, of this address was arrested for resisting a peace officer. He was held on an active Will County warrant.

Summary: Bonnie J. Coen, age 50, of 1442 Groton Lane in Wheaton was cited for driving while license revoked. She was held on an active Cook County warrant.

Summary: Leelinn KD Fox, age 24, of 1123 N. Hickory in Joliet was cited for improper turn at intersection and driving while license suspended.
8/23 Location: N. Raynor and W. Jefferson
Summary: Codie Cleary, age 25, of 1600 Sunflower Court in Romeoville was cited for expired registration, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Shaquonna U. Woods, age 40, of 1211 Cutter Avenue in Joliet was cited for failure to signal, driving while license revoked and obstructing identification.
8/24 Location: 21000 block of W. Laraway Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole an orange 2014 Kubota RTV-X900 golf cart style buggy. The buggy had a KR&G Excavation logo on the side. Five 12-volt batteries were also stolen from the site.

Summary: Juan Barrios, age 27, of 504 Franklin St. in Joliet was cited for speeding, no registration lights, driving while license suspended. He was held on two active Will County warrants.
Location: Vernon and N. Larkin
Summary: Desmond L. Alexander, age 25, of 1824 Burry Circle in Crest Hill was cited for expired registration, failure to carry identification, driving while license revoked and obstructing identification. He was also held on two active Will County warrants.
Location: Alejandro D. Rivas, age 50, of 14948 S. San Francisco Avenue in Posen was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: Elgin and Fox St.
Summary: While on routine patrol Sheriff’s deputies were flagged down by a resident who stated that they heard 10 gunshots and found shell casing near their house, around 1:30am. Several neighbors also stated that they heard the gunfire. Nine shell casings were located on the 500 block of Fox St. One house suffered damage with a bullet hole in the front siding.
8/25 Location: N. Center and Oneida
Summary: Theresa Dominguez-Evans, age 26, of 320 Wheeler in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Robert Dominguez-Evans, age 27, of 800 Francis St. in Joliet was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.

Summary: Onytis T. Ervins, age 31, of 358 N. Broadway in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, expired registration, and no license plate.

Summary: John M. Schwarz, age 34, of 5315 Whispering Oaks Drive in Plainfield was arrested for DUI, failure to signal and disobeying a traffic control device.
8/26 Location: W. Jefferson and S. Infantry
Summary: Bianca Major, age 25, of 2801 Campbell St. in Joliet was cited for improper lighting, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
Location: 1705 Richard St. Oak Valley School
Summary: Sometime over the weekend hours, person/s unknown broke into two semi-trailers and stole three snow blowers, two push mowers, a leaf blower, weed whacker, and a John Deere zero turn lawn mower. Video surveillance is being reviewed.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
8/21 Location: 9600 block of W. Eagle Lake Road Peotone
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into two farm buildings and stole several hand tools and a 30-gallon air compressor.
8/22 Location: 29813 S. Rt. 50 Peotone Rolling R Golf Cart Rental
Summary: Person/s unknown stole four blue EZ-GO electric golf cards from the parking lot. Security footage observed a pickup truck pulling a long trailer with one person driving the truck and stealing the carts.
8/23 Location: 1700 block of W. Richton Road Steger
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a backpack leaf blower from the backyard of a residence.
Location: 24000 block of S. Pine Ridge Drive Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2007 white Lexus IS250 that was parked on the street in front of a residence. The keys had been left inside with the doors unlocked.
8/25 Location: 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown stole two 12-volt batteries that were inside a John Deere tractor.
HOMER GLEN
8/20 Location: 12554 W. 159th St. Jiffy Lube
Summary: Juan M. Guerra Jr., age 38, of 10241 S. Central Avenue in Oak Lawn was arrested for possession of registration, possession of title, theft under $500, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper display of registration, failure to transfer title and stolen registration.
8/21 Location: S. Gougar and W. 159th St.
Summary: Anthony Schargorodsky, age 40, of 1003 Westminster Road in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.
8/23 Location: 14310 S. Will Cook Road 7-Eleven
Summary: Brendan G. Wydajewski, age 19, of 14060 Bunratty Court in Homer Glen was arrested for retail theft.
8/24 Location: 17000 block of W. Bluff Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a trolling motor from a boat and a nail gun from an unlocked truck.
8/26 Location: 15301 S. Bell Road MegaPlex Fitness
Summary: Person/s unknown broke out the driver side window of a vehicle in order to gain entry. A purse was taken. The vehicle was parked on the north side of the building. Theft occurred between 6:30pm and 8:20pm.
Location: 14911 S. Bell Road Yoga Studio
Summary: Person/s unknown broke out the drivers’ side window of a vehicle. Offender/s entered the vehicle and discovered a purse under the seat. The purse was stolen along with an IPhone and a garage door opener. Time of theft occurred around 7/7:30 pm.
NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
8/20 Location: W. Maple and I80 New Lenox
Summary: Susan Reynolds, age 55, of 710 Lake Road in New Lenox was cited for driving while license revoked, disobeying a traffic control device.
8/26 Location: W. Laraway Road and S. Scheer Frankfort
Summary: Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched regarding an unoccupied vehicle on the roadway. Upon arrival, they found a 2016 Lincoln MKZ, ignition running and sitting perpendicular to Laraway Road with the front tires on the shoulder and the rear tires in the ditch. An inquiry of the vehicle revealed that it had been stolen from Carol Stream jurisdiction.
