7/17 Location: 3100 block of E. Division St. Reed
Summary: Matthew Swanson, age 29, of 5272 Eastwood Court in Plainfield was cited for driving while license suspended.
7/20 Location: Bridge and S. Park Wilmington
Summary: Darrin D. Armstead, age 32, of 3100 Oakwood Drive in Hazel Crest was cited for driving while license suspended and expired registration.
7/21 Location: W. Rt. 113 and W. Smiley Road Wilmington
Summary: David M. Smalley, age 25, of 248 N. Walker in Braidwood was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.

Summary: Owner stated person/s unknown broke into three trailers and a garage. Offender/s stole a sod cutter, three leaf blowers, two concrete saws, two chainsaws, hedge trimmers and two line trimmers.

7/17 Location: 14363 S. Archer Avenue Rinks Gun and Sport
Summary: An unknown male subject was observed walking up to a storage locker and cutting the lock off. The subject was observed lifting the door of the locker. Nothing was stolen. The subject drove a newer model red SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
7/20 Location: S. State and E. Woods
Summary: Adrena April, age 58, of 611 Francis St. in Joliet was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration.
7/22 Location: S. Weber and Cottonwood Drive
Summary: Ricardo Matos, age 45, of 355 Reston Circle in Romeoville was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended and failure to dim headlights.

7/16 Location: N. Center and W. Jefferson
Summary: Robert S. Mutz, Jr., age 37, of 1120 Westshire Drive in Joliet was arrested for following too closely, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and DUI.

Summary: Bennie Blackmon, Jr., age 82, of 2203 Fairview Avenue in Lockport was cited for no valid driver’s license.

Summary: Michael J. Moreno, age 32, of this address, was arrested for trespassing.

Summary: Percy Robinson Jr., age 55, of 3519 Karen Drive in Joliet was cited for expired registration and driving while license revoked.

Summary: Samuel Gordon, age 54, of 911 Longwood in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Lester Bushue, age 47, of 1621 Theodore St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked.
7/19 Location: 1913 S. Chicago Ranch Liquors
Summary: Ricardo Arriaga-Vargas, age 25, of 401 Grove St. in Joliet and Jose L. Bermudez, age 33, of 216 5th Avenue in Joliet were both arrested for mob action, aggravated battery, assault, and battery.
Location: 1400 block of Cecelia
Summary: Six individuals arrived at the quarry to go swimming around 6pm. The individuals put four cell phones, two sets of vehicle keys and various clothing inside a backpack. After 30 minutes of swimming, they returned to their vehicles when they noticed the backpack gone.
7/20 Location: Maple Road and N. Briggs
Summary: Omar Negrete-Cuevas, age 39, of 914 Deephaven Drive in Joliet was arrested for DUI, speeding, improper lane usage and driving in wrong lane.
Location: E. Jackson and Henderson
Summary: Jessie Nava, age 24, of 349 Gehrig Circle in Bolingbrook was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: Richards and 2nd Avenue
Summary: Willie M. Croff, age 52, of 416 Bellarmine in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and was held on an active Will County FTA warrant.
Location: 800 block of Diamond K Lane
Summary: Sheriff’s deputies were called to the residence of a couple who stated that they just had two offenders inside their home who stole their vehicle. Around 11:40pm, the couple was in their backyard doing yardwork. The wife went inside to make a phone call in her bedroom when she observed a black male subject. The subject grabbed her and placed an object shaped like a firearm to her back. The object was covered with a cloth. The woman screamed and the husband came into the home. The offender demanded $1,000 in exchange for not hurting the couple. They advised the offender that they did not have money in the house. The offender removed the vehicle key from a key ring and ordered the couple to remain seated and not move until the offender and a second offender, who was in another bedroom, left the residence. The couple complied. The couple was not injured.
Around 8:15pm, deputies were dispatched to the El Ranchito Supermercado on E. Cass Street in Joliet where the 1999 Buick LeSabre was located in the parking lot. It was unoccupied. This incident is under investigation
7/21 Location: Plainfield and N. Larkin
Summary: Gregory Debrosse, age 21, of 285 N. Richmond in Clarendon Hills was cited for improper lighting and driving while license suspended. He was held on an active FTA warrant out of DuPage County.
7/22 Location: Brandon and Patterson
Summary: Brian J. Rose, age 37, of 8018 Kooy Drive in Munster, IN was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Location: Channahon and Brandon
Summary: Romesha Feggins, age 22, of 1444 S. Busse Road in Mount Prospect was cited for driving while license suspended and failure to yield intersection.
Location: Krakar Avenue and Sterling
Summary: Wendy Rosales-Mota, age 20, of 1006 Hacker in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: 1100 block of Karner
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole numerous keys.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
7/20 Location: 19420 S. Harlem Avenue Frankfort Gas N Wash
Summary: Owner of a 2016 Jeep Patriot parked his vehicle in the front of the store and left his vehicle unlocked and running. When he came out of the store, his vehicle had been stolen.
Location: 11000 block of W. 194th St. Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a laptop. Video surveillance showed a white SUV pulling up at 3:14am and four male black subjects exited. One subject was observed inside the vehicle.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
7/17 Location: S. Weber and W. Creekside Drive DuPage
Summary: Chantalle McGee, age 38, of 931 Brompton Circle in Bolingbrook was cited for improper turn at intersection and driving while license suspended.
7/19 Location: S. Front Royal Court Plainfield
Summary: Timothy D. Garwood, age 33, of 21548 Freeport Court in Plainfield was arrested for public indecency and disorderly conduct.
Location: N. Independence and E. Romeo Road DuPage
Summary: Daron Aiknes, age 35, of 1921 Tracy Drive in Bloomington, IL was cited for no registration lights and no valid driver’s license.
7/21 Location: Marquette and S. Bolingbrook Drive DuPage
Summary: Brandon Dawson, age 30, of 304 Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.

7/17 Location: 1100 block of W. New Monee Road Crete
Summary: Michael Brandt, age 34, of 26844 Green Briar in Monee was cited for driving while license revoked, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: E. 34th St. and Chicago Road Monee
Summary: Saul Munoz Montoya, age 39, of 1650 School in Chicago Heights was cited for failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.
7/20 Location: Landau Road and Samson Drive Crete
Summary: Octavius Lucas, age 20, of 745 Red Oak Lane in University Park was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, no FOID card, possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis over 30 grams.
HOMER GLEN
7/20 Location: 14747 W. 159th St. BP Gas
Summary: Christopher Steinlen, age 30, of 13958 Grenelefe Lane in Homer Glen was arrested for robbery after he entered the store at 8:15pm and wanted to purchase a pack of cigarettes but had no identification to verify his age. The employee refused the sale and Steinlen became angry. Steinlen then went behind the counter where the employee attempted to stop him. Steinlen then punched the employee in the head and bit his ear. He grabbed a pack of cigarettes and left the store. Steinlen was found walking westbound on 159th street and was arrested.
Location: 12326 W. 143rd St. Big Joe’s Backyard BBQ
Summary: Daimu Liu, age 29, of 2738 S. Princeton Avenue in Chicago and Dengdi Ru, age 34, of 1756 W. 35th St. in Chicago were arrested for theft after it was discovered that both men had stolen used cooking oil from the rear of the restaurant. The duo was observed by the owner in a 15’ box truck, wearing plastic suits, place a hose inside the grease bin and turn on a pump from inside the truck in order to siphon the grease. The owner then followed them to a second restaurant and called police. The truck was found to have five, 300-gallon tanks inside with a pump.
