6/21     Location:  19000 block of W. Wilmington-Peotone                          Wilmington

            Summary:  Eric Madding, age 42, of 21961 Hwy 113 in Wilmington was cited for driving while license suspended and improper lane usage.

 

6/22     Location:  W. Manhattan Road and S. Rt. 53                         Jackson

            Summary:  Fredatric L. Fields, Jr., age 25, of 26800 S. Hawthorne Trail in Monee was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  W. Wilmington-Peotone Road and S. Riley Road                       Wilmington

            Summary:  Marcus Montgomery, age 40, of 25265 S. Mallard Drive in Channahon was cited for driving while license revoked, speeding, and operating vehicle not equipped with breath alcohol ignition device when required.

 

            Location:  34000 block of S. Rivals Road                             Wilmington

            Summary:  David A. Heinemann, age 31, of 34357 S. Rivals Road in Wilmington was cited for possession/igniting fireworks. 

 

            Location:  W. Baltimore and N. First St.                               Wilmington

            Summary:  Joshua J. Mandac, age 39, of 313 N. East St. in Gardner was arrested for DUI, Aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal use of cell phone.

 

            Location:  24000 block of S. Sycamore St.                            Jackson

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked pickup truck and stole a firearms safe with a loaded handgun inside.

 

            Location:  24000 block of S. Sycamore St.                            Jackson

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and removed the garage door opener.  It was later found in a nearby ditch.

 

            Location:  15000 block of W. Delaney Road                         Manhattan

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a lap top computer.

 

6/24     Location:  19000 block of W. Noel Road                              Jackson

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2017 Polaris ATV.  The keys were in the ignition.

 

LOCKPORT

 

6/20     Location:  735 Green Garden Place                            Fairmont Junior High

            Summary:  Foreman for Olsson Roofing stated that his crew left several roofing tools on the roof of the building in the overnight areas.  The crew had removed the ladders so there was no access to the roof.  Person/s unknown used a handcart and pipe fencing in order to gain access to the roof.   Stolen was two generators, two air compressors, three blowers, four accutracks, several drills, saws chargers, batteries, grinders, extension cords an air hose, hand tools and a radio. 

 

6/24     Location:  607 Oak St.

            Summary:  Jacob R. Nagel, age 19, of this address, was arrested for two counts of fleeing/eluding police, disobeying a stop sign, speeding, and forgery/counterfeit.

 

JOLIET

 

6/18     Location:  S. Chicago St. and Dollar Tree Lane

            Summary:  Eric W. Brown, age 54, of 9712 Calumet in Chicago was cited for disobeying a stop sign and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  Henderson and Wenberg

            Summary:  Valeria Martinez, age 22, of 212 Henderson in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

6/19     Location:  E. Cass and Harwood

            Summary:  Kendall Calvert, age 30, of 8 N. Cagwin Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, suspended registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  I80 and S. Center St.

            Summary:  Joseph B. Weber, age 24, of 8 5^th Street in Joliet was cited for expired registration and driving while license suspended.

 

6/20     Location:  300 block of Leach Avenue

            Summary:  Giovanny Gutierrez, age 21, of 310 Leach Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device and failure to signal when turning.

 

            Location:  400 block of Davison

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse.

 

6/21     Location:  McDonough and S. Larkin

            Summary:  Don T. McCaa, age 56, of 31 E. Montrose Drive in Romeoville was cited for no registration lights and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  2000 block of W. Jefferson St.

            Summary:  Daniel Marin, age 22, of 624 Central in Rockdale was cited for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  E. Jefferson and N. Eastern

            Summary:  Sharon D. Jackson, age 57, of 400 Ray May Drive in Joliet was cited for improper turn at intersection and driving while license revoked.

 

6/22     Location:  Essington and Jeffrey

            Summary:  Michael A. Arna, age 60, of 23047 W. Ironwood Drive in Plainfield was arrested for DUI, improper turn at intersection, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and conceal carry license violation.

 

            Location:  E. Washington and S. Briggs

            Summary:  Angel Mozo, age 30, of 426 Landau Avenue in Joliet was cited for no registration light, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

6/23     Location:  1900 Elgin Avenue

            Summary:  Khristy Brunette, age 30, of this address, was arrested for battery and aggravated battery.

 

            Location:  N. Joliet and W. Jackson

            Summary:  Alex Concannon, age 29, of 707 Belmont Court in Romeoville was cited for failure to signal and expired driver’s license.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

6/18     Location:  13000 block of S. Kendall Drive                           Plainfield

            Summary:  Daniel R. Wilander, age 28, of 2414 Red Bud Lane in Aurora was cited for driving while license suspended and improper display of registration.

 

6/21     Location:  25503 W. Ruff St.             SPEC Engineering                  Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown sawed off the exhaust system from a Ford F-250 Super Crew pick up. 

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

6/18     Location:  29845 S. Cottage Grove Avenue               Beecher

            Summary:  Lynda Fahey, age 54, of this address was arrested for battery.

 

6/19     Location:  S. State Line Road and E. Reichert Drive                         Crete

            Summary:  Delano Vaughn, age 33, of 4007 S. Federal St. in Chicago was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

6/20     Location:  24000 block of S. Stoney Island Avenue                          Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole the front and back license plates off a van.

 

6/22     Location:  7300 block of W. Sheffield Court                         Monee

            Summary:  Around 1:30am, Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence and spoke to the homeowner who stated that she was inside her garage when the garage door opened.  She then was an unknown person walk into the garage.  The homeowner ran inside her house and began screaming for her husband.  They both discovered that the unknown person had used the garage door opener from inside an unlocked vehicle that was parked outside.

 

6/23     Location:  E. Exchange and S. Michaels St.                          Crete

            Summary:  Si Magee, age 44, of 18005 Olympia Drive in Country Club Hills was arrested for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, DUI, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

6/24     Location:  26435 S. Dixie Highway               Crete               Balmoral Race Track

            Summary:  Employee of Volkswagen Group of America stated that on 7/18/18 he had a Volkswagen Jetta delivered to this property to be stored.   On June 12, 2019, while conducting an audit, he discovered the vehicle to be stolen.  An Audi Q7 was also discovered stolen from this location during the audit.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

6/23     Location:  14642 S. Parker Road                               Homer Township

            Summary:  Two male/white teenagers entered the baseball fields and stole the black backstop padding mats from all three fields.  They were observed getting into a tan/silver SUV.

 

            Location:  W. Choctaw Trail and S. Kickapoo Trail

            Summary:  Edgar Jasso, age 35, of 2542 Sagamore Circle in Aurora was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and driving while license revoked.

 

FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

6/19     Location:  19000 block of s. Spruce Drive                             Frankfort

            Summary:  Jennifer Gritzenbach, age 42, of 18147 Eagle Drive in Tinley Park was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report an accident.

 

            Location:  8100 block of W. Rosebury Drive                        Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a vehicle and stole a handgun.

 

6/24     Location:  22000 block of S. Schoolhouse Road                               New Lenox

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a trailer and stole one lawnmower, two weed whackers and a saw.
