NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
4/16 Location: 18000 block of S. Haas Road Mokena
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a garage and stole a chainsaw, safety helmet, motor, pole pruner and a trimmer.
Location: 18000 block of S. Haas Road Mokena
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked storage shed and stole a John Deere X534 lawn tractor. Video footage is being reviewed.
4/20 Location: 7600 W. Hickory Creek Drive Frankfort
Summary: Roberto A. Ruiz, age 36, of this address was arrested for domestic battery, aggravated assault, and resisting a police officer.
4/22 Location: 18000 block of S. Wolf Road Mokena
Summary: An unknown male wearing a hat and hooded sweatshirt, carrying a blue bag, scaled the fence and broke into a landscaping trailer. A pole saw was stolen out of the trailer. Video footage is being further reviewed.
Location: 7300 block of W. Lakeside Drive Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a white 2014 Infinity QX60 SUV from a garage. The owners were visiting neighbors across the street when the theft occurred. A purse was inside the vehicle along with a wedding ring set. The owners were only away from their residence for approximately 30 minutes. The owners reported that they had observed an unknown male Hispanic, 5’6” and 150lbs, wearing a baseball hat and a polo shirt in the area prior to the theft. The subject was placing flyers for a construction company inside mailboxes on the block. Under investigation.
Location: 7700 block of W. Kenton Court Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and rifled thru it. Nothing appeared to be missing. A Cook County Sheriff’s badge was found in the front seat that did not belong to the owner.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
4/17 Location: N. Weber and I55 DuPage
Summary: Anthony E. Wilson, age 29, of 14729 Homan Avenue in Midlothian was cited for expired registration, driving while license suspended, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
4/20 Location: W. Romeo Road and N. Independence Blvd DuPage
Summary: Jasmine Mikala Myon Kelly, age 25, of 435 Godfrey Avenue in Lockport was cited for no driver’s license on person and driving while license suspended.
Location: E. Romeo Road and N. Independence Blvd. DuPage
Summary: Alfred Ortega, age 33, of 1455 Berta Drive in Crest Hill was arrested for aggravated speeding, improper turn at intersection, improper lane usage, DUI, and transportation of open alcohol.
4/21 Location: W. 111th St. and S. Heggs Road Wheatland
Summary: Treshaun Morris, age 25, of 807 Sapphire Drive in Bolingbrook was arrested for improper lane usage and DUI.
Location: 16000 block of S. Washington Court Plainfield
Summary: Victims stated that they found an ad on Craigslist for a 2010 Polaris Sportsman ATV with a snowplow for sale. The owner instructed the victim to complete the sale on Ebay by purchasing $1,000 in Ebay gift cards. The victim did that and then live chatted with the owner providing the card numbers and security codes. Once the transaction was completed, the victim contacted Ebay to confirm the purchase. Ebay officials advised that they did not have record of the sale for an ATV, however they did show that some type of purchase was made. Ebay advised that they would place a stop order on the items and would refund the victims. The victims attempted to recontact the fraudulent owners but the links and everything associated with them was now shut down.

4/16 Location: S. Western Avenue and University Parkway Crete
Summary: Eboni Rucker, age 32, of 677 Sullivan Lane in University Park was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: 29837 S. Rt. 50 Peotone
Summary: Daman A. Kwain, age 35, of this address, was arrested for aggravated assault.

4/21 Location: E. Baltimore and Daniels St. Wilmington
Summary: Tyler Smith-Grandys, age 26, of 661 W. 2nd St. in Braidwood was arrested for speeding and DUI.
Location: W. Pauling and S. Cedar Road Manhattan
Summary: Steven C. Klein, age 33, of 465 S. Mary St. in Coal City was cited for disregarding a stop sign, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving while license revoked and aggravated driving while license revoked.
LOCKPORT
4/18 Location: 2105 Fairview Avenue
Summary: Felicia Wiggins, age 52, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery and aggravated assault.
Location: 16000 block of W. 146th Place
Summary: Victim stated that she wanted to purchase, via Ebay, a $1,500 camper that was located in Utah. She reached out via email to the seller who advised the victim to purchase Ebay gift cards as form of payment. The victim complied, giving the 15 ebay gift card numbers and security codes over the phone to an unknown male. The victim was contacted later that day via email who stated that ‘authorities had put a hold on the transportation of the camper until another $1,000 in Ebay gift cards were sent as payment for shipping. The victim became suspicious and contacted the fraud department at Ebay.

4/16 Location: S. Parker and W. 159th St.
Summary: Melad Anwar Mustafa, age 19, of 17228 Foxglove Lane in Tinley Park was cited for illegal use of cell phone and driving while license suspended.
JOLIET
4/16 Location: 2700 block of Lancaster Drive
Summary: Two unknown male white subjects were observed on security footage entering into two unlocked vehicles. Missing from one vehicle was a 9 round magazine. Nothing was missing from the second vehicle.
Location: Plainfield and Gaylord
Summary: Jhakiren Gerald Pickens Russell, age 19, of 106 Riverview Avenue in Lockport was cited for improper lane usage, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
4/17 Location: N. Larkin and Theodore
Summary: Ann Marie Valdez, age 20, of 220 N. Madison in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, operating vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and no required child restraint system.
Location: 300 block of Fairbanks
Summary: Ashley M. Barr, age 25, of 217 Grinton Avenue in Joliet was arrested for residential burglary.
Location: W. Jefferson and Margaret St.
Summary: Quintin Catchings, age 42, of 200 Madison in Joliet was cited for improper turn and driving while license revoked.
Location: 23000 block of S. Willow Lane
Summary: A 63-year-old female reported to deputies that she received a phone call from a male subject who identified himself as her grandson. The subject stated that he was in Florida on Spring Break and had gotten into a car accident and hit someone. The subject stated that he had a lawyer and asked the victim to call the lawyer and provided a phone number. The female called the ‘lawyer’ and the lawyer asked her what her grandson’s name was. The female provided the name. The lawyer then stated that her grandson was being charged with DUI but the subject that was hit only wanted money to pay her insurance and hospital bills. The female sent $4,900 via UPS overnight to an address in Doral, Florida. On 4/18/19 her real grandson called her from college in Indiana, stated he was not in Florida, and at that time, she realized that she was victim of a scam.

Summary: Olga Delarosa, age 36, of 426 Landau in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and no registration lights.
Location: W. Jefferson and Nicholson
Summary: Jesus Alcantar-Zamudio, age 20, of 428 Oneida in Joliet was cited for expired registration, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
4/20 Location: S. Chicago and 4th Avenue
Summary: Elnora Allen, age 28, of 1011 Draper Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: E. Cass and Harwood
Summary: Cesar Gonzalez, age 20, of 412 S. Raynor Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
4/21 Location: Republic and W. Jefferson
Summary: Kimberly Bell, age 20, of 1225 Linne St. in Joliet was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.
Location: Theodore and N. Larkin
Summary: Frank J. Volpi, age 21, of 6218 Meadow Ridge in Plainfield was cited for expired registration, no valid driver’s license, improper use of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: Black Road and N. 129th Infantry Drive
Summary: Eric Thorn, age 34, of 604 Cowles Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage.
4/22 Location: Ingalls and Edgerton Drive
Summary: Allen L. Price, age 42, of 10 E. Zarley Blvd in Joliet was arrested for speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI.
