FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

4/14     Location:  7928 W. Lincoln Highway                        Frankfort                     Ryans Pub

            Summary:  A 40-year-old female stated that while inside the bar celebrating her birthday, person/s unknown stole her wallet and sunglasses.  The wallet contained the birthday girl’s driver’s license, an ID, and five credit cards.    Ryan’s Pub management was reviewing surveillance video.

 

JOLIET

 

4/10     Location:  N. Briggs and E. Cass

            Summary:  Lakayla Dantzler, age 38, of 2219 Basswood Road in Joliet was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  E. Cass and N. Briggs

            Summary:  Marcellus Hornsby, age 20, of 28 N. Broadway in Joliet was cited for no registration light and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  Zarley Blvd.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a driver’s license, ID card and social security card.

 

4/11     Location:  1300 block of S. Briggs

            Summary:  Julia Taylor-Brown, age 55, of 109 Wagner St. in Cabery, IL was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield.

 

            Location:  S. Chicago St. and Mills Road

            Summary:  Francisco Quezada, age 25, of 105 Walden Road in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.               Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Lamaris L. George, Jr., age 24, of 1608 Marcella Avenue in Joliet was arrested for possession of stolen property after he was brought into the facility for unrelated warrant and while checking in his property a driver’s license and credit cards were found that did not have his name on them.  A phone call was made to the person’s on the driver’s license.  The man stated that about a week prior, someone had stolen his wallet and he reported it to Joliet Police.   The man’s property were returned to him.

            Summary:  Latoya Hart, age 42, of 512 Gardner St. in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

4/12     Location:  I55 and W. Eames

            Summary:  Johnnie B. Peacock, Jr., age 33, of 2425 Ansel Avenue in Lehigh Acres, Florida was arrested for following too closely, failure to signal, improper lane usage and forgery.   Rufus Battle, age 34, of 1933 Stonebriar Drive in Wesley Chapel, Florida was arrested for forgery.

 

            Location:  1 Genstar Lane

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2019 Great Dane semi-trailer and a 2020 Great Dane semi-trailer from a company property.

 

4/15     Location:  14 W. Jefferson St.                        Will County Courthouse

            Summary:  Morissa S. Scott, age 25, of 1128 Elizabeth Court in Crest Hill was arrested for resisting/obstructing arrest after she ran out of the courtroom and courthouse when a judge wanted to execute an active FTA warrant on her.  Deputies chased Scott to the Harrah’s Casino parking lot and took her into custody.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

4/9       Location:  21000 block of W. Lathrop Court             Plainfield

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse with $30, a driver’s license and a debit card.  Two fraudulent ATM withdrawals were made on the victim’s account before she had a chance to deactivate them.

 

4/14     Location:  S. Weber and S. Highpoint Drive              Romeoville

            Summary:  Lonnie A. Banks, age 41, of 2300 Old Tavern Road in Lisle was arrested for disobeying a traffic control device, fleeing/eluding a police officer, possession of drug equipment, and resisting a peace officer.

4/10     Location:  W. 159^th St and S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Richard B. Taman, age 67, of 7068 N. Sheridan in Chicago was arrested for DUI/drugs, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, and possession of drug equipment.

 

            Location:  12300 S. New Avenue

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole four aluminum trailer ramps from a trailer.

 

4/14     Location:  12000 block of W. Lake View Drive

            Summary:  Larry Gross, age 59, of 18422 Torrence Avenue in Lansing was arrested for DUI.

 

4/15     Location:  W. 143^rd St. and S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Mary L. Ziola, age 57, of 15011 S. Preserve Drive in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

4/9       Location:  1800 block of W. 235^th St.                                    Monee

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Kurz 9mm handgun with ammunition.

 

4/10     Location:  S. Rt. 394 and S. Dixie Highway              Crete

            Summary:  Tabatha McGee, age 37, of 292 E. 149^th St. in Harvey was cited for no registration lights and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  E. 34^th St. and Chicago Road                    Steger

            Summary:  Mark B. Kuebler, age 34, of 341 Maple St. in Crown Point, IN was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.  Stefan Wisnewski, age 36, of 3325 Sangamon St. in Steger was cited for no valid driver’s license and possession of drug equipment.  He was held on an active FTA warrant.

 

            Location:  University Parkway and S. Governors Highway              Crete

            Summary:  Keonte Williams, age 22, of 1931 Wilson in Calumet City was arrested for aggravated fleeing/eluding police officers, reckless driving, disobeying a stop sign, improper lane suage, no valid driver’s license, aggravated speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

4/11     Location:  W. Richton and Morgan St.                      Steger

            Summary:  Malek Pillows, age 21, of 853 Oakside Lane in University Park was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  W. 34^th St. and Halsted                             Steger

            Summary:  Shune D. Carr, age 47, of 401 W. 35^th St. in Steger was cited for one headlight and driving while license suspended.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a folding knife and three pocketknives.

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $10 in change and a camcorder.

 

4/14     Location:  24000 block of S. Kings Rd.                                 Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered two unlocked vehicles and stole a drill set and two power drills from one vehicle and an IPod from the second vehicle.

 

            Location:  24000 block of S. Kings Rd.                                 Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $500 cash.

 

LOCKPORT

 

4/10     Location:  S. State and Harvard

            Summary:  Carlos Alberto Jara, age 26, of 20916 W. Barrington Lane in Plainfield was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal.

 

4/11     Location:  400 block of Connor Avenue

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a 2002 Buick LeSabre from the driveway of a residence.  The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside.

4/12     Location:  18000 block of W. Bauer Road                            Wilmington

            Summary:  Adam J. Strahan, age 45, of 10606 W. 5000 N Rd. in Bonfield, IL was cited for failure to give information to owner after striking property, failure to report crash to police, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper use of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
