SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

2/13     Location:  30000 block of S. Kavanaugh Road                                 Wilmington

            Summary:  Deputies responded to a business and spoke with the owner who stated that person/s unknown broke into the building and stole two spools of copper wire and two cordless drills.  Video surveillance footage was being reviewed.

 

2/14     Location:  S. Rt. 53 and W. Old Explosive Road                              Wilmington

            Summary:  William A. Houle, age 34, of 21635 W. Grand Avenue in Wilmington was cited for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.

 

2/17     Location:  S. Rt. 129 and W. Stripmine Road                                    Wilmington

            Summary:  Nicholas Franz, age 25, of 786 W. Kennedy Road in Braidwood was cited for suspended registration, failure to dim headlights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and illegal transportation of alcohol.

 

2/18     Location:  30000 block of S. Cooper Road                                        Wilmington

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a storage trailer and stole a diesel generator, a welder, a two trash pumps.    Offender/s also stole a John Deere tractor radiator that was outside near the trailer.

 

            Location:  I55 and W. Coal City Road                                               Reed

            Summary:  Richard E. Folk, age 43, of 11 S. Poplar in Manteno was cited for driving while license revoked, failure to signal, and was held on an active Will County FTA warrant.

 

JOLIET

 

2/13     Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Raynor

            Summary:  Christopher Adonis McCullum, age 30, of 217 St. Joseph Avenue in Joliet was cited for improper lane usage and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  Patterson Road and S. Chicago St.

            Summary:  Pernetta Williams, age 44, of 8801 Escanaba in Chicago was cited for too fast for conditions, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving while license suspended.

 

            Location:  W. Eames and S. Frontage Road W

            Summary:  John C. Pauls, age 45, of 221 Davis Avenue in Rockdale was arrested for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give info/render aid and DUI.

 

            Location:  321 Dewey St.

            Summary:  Joseph P. McGrath, age 20, of this address, was arrested for possession of ammunition with no FOID card, manufacture/delivery of cannabis, possession of cannabis and unlawful use of a weapon with no FOID card.

 

2/14     Location:  W. Jefferson and N. Raynor

            Summary:  Stacy W. Bey, age 26, of 105 Sheffield Avenue in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Treyvonne D. Rideout, age 26, of 217 Henderson Avenue in Joliet was charged with battery.

 

2/14     Location:  N. Larkin and Theodore

            Summary:  Jose Leura-Martinez, age 46, of 2205 St. Francis in Joliet was cited for illegal use of cell phone and no valid driver’s license.

 

            Location:  700 block of Patterson Road

            Summary:  Laura M. Batiz, age 19, of 960 Collins St. in Joliet was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property.  Carrington Johnson, age 22, of 719 Patterson Road in Joliet was arrested for criminal damage to property.

 

            Location:  N. Larkin and Theodore

            Summary:  Michael A. Arna, age 59, of 23047 W. Ironwood Drive in Plainfield was arrested for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI, and Conceal Carry/armed while under the influence.

 

            Location:  W. Jefferson and Infantry Drive

            Summary:  Raymond J. Daniels, age 25, of 205 Monroe Road in Bolingbrook was cited for expired registration and driving while license suspended. 

 

2/15     Location:  1100 block of W. Jefferson

            Summary:  Patrick J. Blackmon, age 48, of 412 Pico in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

2/16     Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Joseph P. Lee, age 48, of 1210 Dora Avenue in Joliet was cited charged with criminal damage to government property.

 

            Location:  Belmont and Mohawk

            Summary:  Steve C. Real, age 60, of 2114 Tamarack Drive in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper use of registration.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Lejon M. White, age 23, of 101 N. Brookshore Drive in Shorewood was charged with battery.

 

            Location:  2023 E. Washington St.

            Summary:  Jared A. Williams, age 21, of this address, was arrested for unlawful use/possession of weapon by a felon.

 

            Location:  95 S. Chicago St.                           Adult Detention Facility

            Summary:  Ron L. Forlano, age 51, of 624 Franklin St. in Galena was charged with criminal damage to government property.

 

2/17     Location:  18644 NW Frontage Road                                    Crystal Way Trucking

            Summary:  Owner stated that while checking security cameras he observed an individual drive off the lot with a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia.  Owner stated that he recognized the person as one of his employees.  Via GPS on the truck, Ohio State Police were able to stop the offender near I-90.  He was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

 

2/18     Location:  N. Briggs and Sterling

            Summary:  Rebecca Juarez, age 34, of 500 Park Drive in Joliet was cited for suspended registration, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  She was held on a valid Will County FTA warrant.

 

NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT

 

2/15     Location:  200 block of William St.                           New Lenox

            Summary:  About 3am the homeowner was awakened by the sound of a car idling.  The homeowner looked out his window and saw an unknown male figure running from his front yard and into a two door vehicle with lights illuminated across the back end of the vehicle.  He then found that his unlocked vehicle had been entered.  Miscellaneous change and a coin dispenser had been stolen.

 

2/16     Location:  I80 and W. Maple St.                                New Lenox

            Summary:  Edward J. Rios, age 24, of 514 Kennedy Blvd. in Bayonne, NJ was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

2/17     Location:  W. Maple and W. 187^th St.                                    Frankfort

            Summary:  Nathan L. Paniak, age 22, of 806 Piper Drive in New Lenox was arrested for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of cannabis under 10 grams and possession of drug equipment.

 

2/18     Location:  19000 block of S. Beechnut Drive                                    Frankfort

            Summary:  An unknown male black subject was observed exiting an unlocked vehicle.  The subject was then observed getting into a dark colored SUV.  Miscellaneous change and $20 was stolen from the vehicle.  While deputies were on scene, they received multiple calls of suspicious activity in the area of 20000 block of Lincolnway Lane in Frankfort Police jurisdiction.  Frankfort Police had one individual in custody.  Sheriff’s deputies canvassed the Beechnut Drive area and observed multiple vehicles with footprints leading from the street to vehicles parked in the driveways.  No vehicles were entered.  All vehicles’ doors were locked.

2/15     Location:  S. Weber Road and 115^th St.                                 DuPage

            Summary:  Omar J. Meraz, age 25, of 8929 Burlington Avenue in Brookfield was cited for no valid safety sticker, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving while license revoked.

 

            Location:  W. Normantown Road and W. Crossroads Parkway                    DuPage

            Summary:  Tatiyana Fisher, age 21, of 386 Wolverine Drive in Oswego was cited for operating vehicle with suspended registration.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

2/14     Location:  S. Will Center Road and W. Dralle Road                         Monee

            Summary:  Aveion Cason, age 19, of 1039 Blackhawk Drive in University Park was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper use of registration.

 

            Location:  1600 block of E. Reitveld Drive                                       Crete

            Summary:  An elderly man reported to deputies that from mid-October through this date, he hired a health care company come into his house to provide medical assistance.  During that period of time an 18K gold watch was stolen from his house.  He believes one of the caretakers stole it.

 

2/17     Location:  S. Western Avenue and University Parkway                                Crete

            Summary:  Melvin D. Carter, age 42, of 8178 Alpine Place in Crown Point, IN was cited for driving while license suspended, improper lane usage, no registration lights, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

            Summary:  Ronald E. Giertuga, age 51, of 18002 S. Spring Meadows Drive in Mokena was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

2/15     Location:  S. Bell and W. Hadley Road

            Summary:  Leonardo Martinez, age 19, of 17425 Stone Hill Drive in Orland Park was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

2/18     Location:  13956 S. Bell Road                                   Menards

            Summary:  Brian M. Berka, age 35, of 255 Sonoma Road in New Lenox was arrested for retail theft and criminal damage to property.
