HOUSE FIRE AT 309 LOUIS RD JOLIET TOWNSHIP
On Saturday May 6, 2017 at approximately 6:00AM, the Will County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fire at the residence of 309 Louis Rd. Joliet, IL. East Joliet Fire Department and New Lenox Fire Departments were on the scene and the house was fully engulfed in flames. Due to the extent of the fire, the East Joliet Fire Department advised they would allow the house to burn out while maintaining control. The cause of the fire is unknown and the East Joliet Fire Department advised that they would not be calling out an arson investigator.
309 Louis Rd, Joliet is the same residence that Semaj Crosby had lived in and was found deceased in on April 26. The sheriff’s office had released control of the house late last week.
