The Will County Sheriff’s Office is joining forces with area municipal police departments from New Lenox, Frankfort, Mokena and Manhattan to host this year’s Citizen Police Academy. This program is free to the public. It is an informational program designed to inform citizens how the police and criminal justice system works. The academy is presented in a manner that is enjoyable for everyone who attends. Some highlights include: traffic stops, crime scene processing, K-9 demonstrations, and tours of the Will County Coroner’s Office and the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Dates: March 3rd thru May 19 – Thursday Evenings
Times: 7:00pm to 9:30pm
