Deputy Peggy Moore

Deputy Peggy MooreBegan as a Will County Deputy in 1988. I graduated from the Illinois State Police Training Academy. Since then I have worked numerous assignments in the Jail, Transport Unit, Accreditation Unit, Patrol Unit, Criminal Investigations Unit as a Crime Scene Investigator, and now currently in the Crime Prevention Unit as a DARE/GREAT Officer.

I have been in the Crime Prevention Unit since 2004. I enjoy working with the children and seeing their positive reactions to the many things we talk about. Their enthusiasm is contagious and makes the teaching fun.

My educational background has been extensive in forensic science and it includes several FBI profiling classes and a 200 hour certification from Northwestern University in Criminal Investigative Forensic Techniques. My hobbies and that of my family, include Bicycle Motor Cross (BMX). My son and myself enjoy racing as often as possible. I am proud to announce that my son, Sam is the 2005 9 and Under State Champion for Illinois. In between our families involvement with BMX, we enjoy Mountain and Road Cycling as well. Of course if it is Football season, Sam and Allison have us in the grandstands cheering on our Widget Football and Cheerleading Teams.... GO BLUE DEVILS!
